I love the ideas about furniture. I moved from San Diego to San Francisco to be near family. Rather than move all of my furniture and store it while I looked for a place to rent, I sold it on Craigslist. I then purchased new furniture on Craigslist and local garage sales. I found a beautiful couch for $200.00, a wood table and chairs for $120.00, I recovered the chairs with nice fabric and a stable gun, I get so many compliments on it! I found televisions for $50.00, etc. So many people sell really nice stuff, no need to buy new anymore for me.
