that you are purchasing the items which are $6, not less than $6 (the
$5.99 bottles do not appear to even be working, so make sure and get
bottles which are $6). In addition, you can scan these as the price
checker to see if they show up as qualifying for part of this
promotion. If they do not, then you will most likely not get the gift
card.

smallest A1 was 2.99 in Columbus OH. also no Kashi waffles- not even a spot for them anywhere. All they had was Eggo waffles. I didn’t see the trial size Hefty or Crystal light on the go pack 3 packs either… in the past when I’ve tried to use a 1.00 coupon on a .99 item it beeps and it’s a lot of hassle… fyi!

2 Jessica June 15, 2009 at 3:16 pm

How does everyone know about the softsoap deal?? I have looked for weeks for this deal and haven’t found it. I’d like to take some advertising or something into my Target and ask them about it.

3 Shannon June 15, 2009 at 3:21 pm

You can also print klondike $1/2 coupons here:
http://www.realfanoftheyear.com/#/sponsors/

I was able to print 2 of them. So if you have a .75/1 Breyers Q and 2 klondike coupons that makes them .95 each. :)

4 The Prudent Homemaker June 15, 2009 at 3:23 pm

Johnson and johnson link says no more coupons when I clicked on it.

5 Amanda June 15, 2009 at 3:53 pm

When I went yesterday, the Huggies didn’t include the Pure and Natural. It was only the Snug n Fit and the ones in the red pkg. It might’ve just been my Target…and the girl wouldn’t let me use the giftcard towards my purchase.

6 Aimee June 15, 2009 at 4:02 pm

I am having a hard time finding trial sizes other than the basic shampoos, etc., at my Target. Any tips appreciated!

7 Beth June 15, 2009 at 4:17 pm

How long is the Softsoap deal active? I went in last week armed with my coupons and was prepared to have trouble finding it due to what I’d read here – but there it was, with a huge display telling about the $5 gift card. I bought two and spend $4 and got the gift card back. I could only get two of the manufacturer’s coupons at home (one on our laptop and one on the desktop) so if the deal is still going this week I’ll try to get to the library and print a couple more so that I can go in and get two more (totaling $4), use the gift card from last week, and end up with $6 on gift cards without spending anything else! I love deals like this!
FYI – the Fresh Essence variety has a wonderful clean smell – the cotton variety is a little strong smelling. I think if I go back I’ll get two more of the Fresh Essence.

Thanks for posting this deal, and if you know when it ends please let me know! :-)
********************
Money Saving Mom here: According to what I’ve read, it should be available through July 16, 2009.

Hope that helps!

Pull-ups wouldn’t work at my store today. There is always an issue when I try to do Target deals. Usually they are not coupon-friendly. Today they said because pull-ups weren’t pictured in the ad, they weren’t included in the giftcard promo.

9 Kim June 15, 2009 at 4:34 pm

Does anyone know if the Huggies Goodnites are included in this deal? Would love it if so!

Amanda, if your Target doesn’t allow you to roll your gift card into the next transaction, please call corporate while you are in the store. That is against Target’s policy. I’ve had this issue once, and corporate urged me to do this, rather than going home and calling. They want to clear up store mistakes in their policy right then and there. They’re usually so nice about it, too. :)

10 Lea June 15, 2009 at 4:40 pm

Guest Services at Target informed me that they will not accept $1 off coupons on 99cent items. When I called her on the fact that the coupon policy says they can adjust the price, she said they did not accept coupons for trial size products. Has any one else run in to this problem? Should I try to argue?

11 Allison June 15, 2009 at 5:36 pm

is anyone else having trouble with the renu coupon? i can’t seem to find it on coupons.com.

12 Ayanna June 15, 2009 at 6:01 pm

I did these deals today! Gotta love Target…

Buy (3) Kellogg Cereals: $2.75 & $2.99 (POPS) (used 3 $1 mc’s from last Sunday’s insert)
Receive a Free gallon of milk (reg. $3.69) with purchase of 3 cereals
FP: $1.37 ea.

Buy (1) Kraft sliced cheese: $2.79 (used a $1 mc from Kraft website)
Buy (1) Oscar Mayer sliced turkey: $2.79 (used 2 $1 mc’s…I was able to use a mc for the free one too!)
Recieve a Free Oscar Mayer sliced turkey when you buy (1) cheese & (1) sliced turkey
FP: .86 ea

(1) Glade candle tin: $1.67 (used $1.50 mc…I can’t get enough of these!)
(1) Glade oil candle refills: $2.99 (used a Free refill when you buy a candle tin from July issue of All You magazine)
FP: .17 for both

13 Shannon June 15, 2009 at 6:07 pm

Lisa, it is stated in the add that it includes:
Snug & Dry, Little Movers or Little Snugglers diapers, Pull Ups Training Pants.

My store is very coupon and promo unfriendly also so I always am prepared to take up to the Store Manager if needed and that usually works. They have to honor the wording in the Ad, if they went by the picture only then only size 4 Snug & Dry and size 4 Little movers would be included. ;)

14 jess June 15, 2009 at 6:17 pm

kim i would argue about it. it is their policy to accept coupons per the terms of the coupon. so if it’s doesn’t exclude trial sizes then it should be accepted.

15 Gwenn June 15, 2009 at 6:46 pm

In what area of the store have you all been finding the Joint Juice. I can’t seem to find it. I’m in FL if that matters.

16 jenney June 15, 2009 at 6:47 pm

I’m pretty sure that IP Kraft mayo Qs are dead.

17 Rosie Thornock June 15, 2009 at 7:36 pm

Pure and Natural diapers are not included in the diaper deal, but Pull Ups are, stated VERY clearly in the ad and should be signed on the shelves too. Make sure you’re getting the Jumbo packs only… I made that mistake today… accidently picked up a mega pack of pull ups. And with the gift cards, you cannot use the one you earn on the transaction to pay for your transaction, but you can roll them. So if you alreayd have a GC and want to use it to pay for your ice cream or diapers, don’t have them put the total on your current GC… get a new one or you won’t be able to use your current GC to pay. =)

18 Kristina June 15, 2009 at 7:38 pm

Jessica, I too live in Columbus. The Target by Easton carries the Kashi waffles (at least it did two weeks ago). They are not in the same freezer as the eggo waffles. It also has crystal light to go packs near the register. Do you live close to it? Hopefully you do so you can get some of those deals.

19 nanasewn June 15, 2009 at 7:52 pm

my store will not take the dollar coups for trial size.
in SE michigan

20 Steph June 15, 2009 at 8:00 pm

Did the Huggies deal in my first transaction and got the $5 Gift Card. I then bought some deodorant and body wash for my second transaction and when I handed the gift card back to her she said that I could not use it on the same day! She said they had to change their policy because so many people “abused” the system with the Kashi special. I bit my tongue but so badly wanted to tell her that people were not “abusing the system” they were being good stewards of their hard earned money! But instead I forced a smile, put my gift card in my wallet and paid cash for the deodorant and body wash. Anyone else told they could not use their gift card on the same day it was received?

21 Beth June 15, 2009 at 9:09 pm

Wow, Steph – I’m amazed the cashier would tell you that. I can’t imagine Target trying to tell their customers what day they can/can’t use a gift card! I understand the policy of not being able to use it for the purchase you received it on – but after that, you should be able to use it whenever you want. Next transaction, next day, next week – whenever. Good for you for being so kind and simply smiling and paying in cash! Did you speak to anyone in customer service about it or call the 800 Target number? I would be very interested to hear what you’re told!! It may change the way/how often I shop at Target.

22 jenny June 15, 2009 at 9:17 pm

I live in Columbus too, and found three flavors of Kashi waffles at the Target on Sawmill Rd near 161 on Friday. I think two (blueberry and regular, if I remember correctly) were priced at 1.99, and the third (something like oats and honey) was priced at 1.79. I purchased that one for 29 cents with coupon, though I have yet to try it! The Kashi waffles were near the other waffles in the freezer.

23 Jazzymom June 15, 2009 at 9:18 pm

The softsoap deal doesn’t work in all Target. I have 2 Targets near me and 1 of them has the deal but the other doesn’t. I wish the deals would apply in all the Target but apparently it is not so. Really can’t understand why!

24 Kim June 15, 2009 at 9:44 pm

Steph, yes, I’ve been told that. I called corporate and they called my store while I was on the phone holding. Corporate reintroduced them to policy and they’ve never given me a problem rolling my gift cards since. The gift card is yours to use whenever and however you would like. They urged me to call anytime I was still in the store and having coupon or promo problems. They want the chance to straighten it out while we’re still there. Hope this helps.

25 BAS June 15, 2009 at 10:18 pm

I didn’t have any trouble tonight at Target except for the fact that my dinky store didn’t have a lot of the things I was hoping to make deals on. :( I live on the wrong side of town when it comes to really nice stores.

26 Lisa June 15, 2009 at 10:34 pm

Has anyone had trouble using coupons from A Full Cup? Today I tried to use several to get deals at Target and they wouldn’t scan. The cashier gave them to me anyway but she commented that if they don’t scan, they are not to be used. The coupons were a little “fuzzy”. Just wondering if any of you have had similar problems. Is A Full Cup a legitimate source for coupons???

27 Maranda June 15, 2009 at 11:56 pm

Honestly, I think it is according to which cashier you go to as to whether they will accept the coupons. Usually, I have found that teenage kids are the best to go to….They could care less. :-)

28 Muddy June 16, 2009 at 12:59 am

I did the Beneful dog food deal (buy two of the particular size, get a $5 GC) and the Breyers Ice Cream deal (buy 5 get a $5 GC) using a $3.50 off one dog food coupon (only had one of these unfortunately) and one Breyers Ice Cream $1 off two coupon. Everything worked great-which is unusual for me and Target anymore.

In your summary, you mention using two Target coupons. My Target has started really cracking down on using more than one Target coupon (since they say “one offer per transaction”) , so that might give some folks trouble if they try to use two of the Target store coupons as suggested. Just a head’s up –

29 Annika Woodrich June 16, 2009 at 2:14 am

Lisa, I had a similar problem today with my Archer Farms chip coupons from A Full Cup. Actually, only one of my Kraft Mayo coupons scanned as well, but it took off $1 for both Mayos that I purchased. However, I ended up just being content with my free salsa from buying two chips and calling it a good enough deal. I was wondering the same thing about whether or not it was a legitimate coupon. Any thoughts out there?

30 mommymakingmoney lei June 16, 2009 at 5:10 am

i can find the rene coupon.

31 Melissa June 16, 2009 at 6:58 am

Kim,
If you need GoodNites for a boy, check stores right now! They are discontinuing the current boxer style ones and coming out with a new type. My grocery store (Weis) and our local Amelia’s discount grocery had them 1/2 price!

32 The Coupon "High" Mome June 16, 2009 at 8:27 am

You can also get free Nescafe Tasters Choice Stick packs for free at Target too. Check http://thecouponhigh.blogspot.com/2009/06/free-nescafe-tasters-choice-stick-pack.html

33 monica June 16, 2009 at 9:08 am

My Target coupons very rarely work….even the ones I print off THEIR computer in THEIR store.

34 April Whitacre June 16, 2009 at 9:15 am

The aquafresh toothpaste coupons don’t seem to be working.

35 katherine walrath June 16, 2009 at 11:18 am

Does anyone have a link to their corporate coupon policy? thanks

36 Heather June 16, 2009 at 1:11 pm

I just left Target and was told I could not use my coupons on the trial size items b/c they were less than the value of the coupon. I showed the manager an email I had from Target Corporate and they grudgingly adjusted the value of the coupon. Usually they tell me the item has to be the one in the picture on Target coupons- which is ridiculous!

One question I have is this: If an item on the shelf has a coupon on it to save .75 cents now and I have another manufacturer coupon to save $1 on the same item, can I use both coupons if the item costs say $5? I know you can if the one is a target coupon but what if both are manufacturer coupons?

37 jen b June 16, 2009 at 1:58 pm

My transaction with the diaper deal did not work because I accidentally grabbed a wrong size Pull-ups. I had a horrible time getting it straightened out to get my $5 gift card, including some attitude from the manager. I left almost in tears. It will probably be a while before I grace the entrance of Target again, no matter how good the deal.

38 patti June 16, 2009 at 3:31 pm

Why is this softsoap $6? Anyways, I brought 2 up to the register and one rang $5.97 and one rang $6. Both bottles were exactly the same, so the cashier voided out the $5.97 bottle and rang the $6 one twice giving me the $5 gift card deal. I could only get one manu coupon to print at home but I did combine that with 2 of the $2 target coupons on this deal. This must be some fantastic kind of magical handsoap for that price.

39 Michelle June 16, 2009 at 4:48 pm

Well at my Target (So. Cal) I was not allowed to use coupons on the trial sized products because they were priced under $1 and she said they don’t price adjust. I however was able to get the trial sized Cottonelle wipes that were priced at .99 but the $1 coupon was a Target coupon so I’m not sure if the cashier just didn’t catch it or if it was because it was a Target coupon. I didn’t see any trial sized Nexcare bandages but the regular sized had a price cut of $1.43 so I got 20 bandages for .43 cents and the may was at a price cut of $2.04 so I got my mayo for .04 cents! Not bad overall!

40 Lea June 16, 2009 at 5:46 pm

Gwenn,

I am also in Florida and found the Joint Juice along the back wall near the refrigerated section. It is not on the same aisle with the sodas, but is in a separate area where you will also find Gatorade and other bottled drinks. Hope that helps!!

41 Pam June 16, 2009 at 7:33 pm

The 3 Target stores in Bakersfield,CA won’t let you use more than 1 coupon per item, doesn’t matter if 1 is from Target and the other is from the manufacterer. I have bought .99 items with the $1 coupon, they just don’t give you change back. Seems to me none of my local Targets like taking any kind of coupon at all.

42 Erin June 17, 2009 at 6:07 am

To any one but in particular to the so cal and the bakersfield poster (I have lived and do live in those places) the best thing to do is call the corprate number.1.800.440.0680 I was having the same problem and called corp. the emailed me a copy of the coupon policy that says they WILL do a price adjust not just on Target store coupons but also on Manufacture coupons and unless it specifically says exculeds trial or travel size or it states on blah blah blah oz.s and over only, then they HAVE to accept it and adjust the price. and the lady I talked to said if I had any problems in the store to call her back while there. They also sent me a $10 target Gift card for calling and so politely and specifically telling her excatly what happened and what about the situation that I knew was wrong and that the store manger I went too went against her own comp. policies. don’t be rude just be factual and let them know you use copuns to save money and still get the best for your family and if Target isn’t like minded you have no problem shopping else where. they are like minded and of course don’t want to lose your buisness. ALSO just FYI the lady I talked to said that the store ad’s that they show online has even more deals and sales in it then the printed ones that come in the sunday paper or your mail. So remember to check the online ad’s as well if your not already ;-)

43 Jennifer June 17, 2009 at 9:10 am

I was not able to print 2 of the Softsoap coupons. I hit the “back” button like usual, but nothing happened. Anyone know how to get 2 of these?

44 Matt Gerry June 17, 2009 at 2:44 pm

My target doesn’t have the softsoap in the size that gives the gift cards. I have been checking …but with no luck.

I did yesterday buy $17 worth of stuff and paid $2.65 after coupons….that feels good!

45 Laura June 18, 2009 at 4:34 pm

My Target was full of coupon cops today, as they would not accept any of the coupons on the trial sizes, nor adjust them down…the lady in front of me even had the corporate letter in-hand and the manager said, “if it won’t scan, we will NOT accept it.”

They also refused to let me use the BOGO and the $1.00 coupon on 2 bottles of Joint Juice..this is the first time I’ve had a problem doing this.

This economy sure has made couponing harder!

46 Kristen June 19, 2009 at 6:28 pm

Had trouble today as well. The cashier wouldn’t take it since it wasn’t the item pictured, even though here in Hawaii the trial sizes are priced higher than $1 so there’s no overage to contend with.

Just called corporate because I couldn’t from the store, and they are following up with coupons in the mail, a phone call to the store, and an email with the policy to me for future use.

The kicker – when the cashier called over the manager, she refused to read the coupon because the print was too small for her to bother. She had reading glasses hanging from her neck, so there was no excuse, and they were printed very clearly. That’s just lazy to me!

I love Target’s customer service though, and next time I’ll have the number programmed and ready to go! :)

47 amy June 19, 2009 at 9:14 pm

Just found a deal in our Target (northern va) this week that others might be able to find elsewhere. A value double pack of Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereals on clearance for $2.74. The kicker is they each had a peel-off coupon on them for a free half gallon of silk soymilk (any flavor). From Kashi’s website you can get 2- $1.50 off any cereal coupons (if you haven’t already printed or used them on a previous purchase)–I bought 2 packs….so I got 4 boxes of cereal plus the 2 soymilks (and bought the organic kind which was priced $3.99) for only $1.24.

Ummm…I don’t know if this helps, but our softsoaps were on the back-side ends of an aisle (not the same aisle the “non-value” handsoaps were on, but a few ends away). It wasn’t very clearly marked (the sign said softsoap value packs and the irish spring packs were included–the only softsoap products that where specifically marked on the product packaging as a value pack where their body washes), but I decided to be brave and tried getting the twin packs of the softsoap ensemble replacement bases (that the coupons posted here where for) anyway and I was handed a gift card :) . hope that helps someone out there!

48 Pamela June 19, 2009 at 11:07 pm

Ugh. Just got back from Target (Upland, CA) and they wouldn’t take my coupons for trial size itmes even though my coupons didn’t exclude trial size items. I asked to speak to the manager and she was absolutely no help. She refused to deal with the coupons. I left the store with nothing. : (

49 Honey June 20, 2009 at 7:41 am

I too had a problem last week, for the first time. It was with a lot of the trial size items (I think I was buying axe and crystal light etc) that were priced .99 and I was trying to use the $1 off coupons. The manager was helping the cashier, and I had to sit there and have her take about 15 items off my order because she refused to take the coupons. She was very nice, but said they couldn’t take them. I plan to call to get a copy of the policy. I do not have a cell phone so I can’t just call while I’m in line. But this does not seem right to me. I am not trying to get overage…just to use a coupon.
