Tomorrow, I’m going to do the scenerio from several comments above from Kay. My issue is that I don’t think the math is right for the final price per pack. Between the 2 transactions, I will have spent 48.45 OOP. They are going to rebate me $2 for #53 and $25 for #61. This brings my oop total to 21.45. Rebate # 800 is not going to send me any money to reduce my oop expense. It really just allows me to divide my total oop by 6 instead of 5. So, in the end, I will have spent 21.45 oop and received 6 packs of diapers (including the free one from #800). 21.45/6=3.57 per pack. It’s still a good deal, but truly, it’s not the less than $2/pack that everyone seems to think.

For the rebate #800 (coupon for free pack of diapers) I don’t see anywhere where it limits the SIZE of package…. it says EXACTLY this: “Buy any five (5) packages of participating HUGGIES Diapers and receive a coupon for a 6th pack of HUGGIES Diapers Free! Valid only on products purchased 4/26-7/25. Purchase Five (5) Packages of any variety – Huggies Diapers or Training Pants and receive back by mail a FREE Voucher for a 6th pack of Huggies Diapers or Training Pants”
The fine print says: “Voucher valued at up to 11.49 & valid for Huggies Supreme Diapers 20-44 ct., Huggies Snug & Dry 23-40 ct.”
IE: The only limit on size is on the pack you get for free, NOT the five you buy to get the free voucher, so buying 1 mega and 4 jumbo’s works!!

Kay, I just did this deal Monday and there was sale price on the shelf tag of $9.99. I didn’t realize this was last weeks sale until the diapers didn’t ring up for sale price. The manager let me have them at that price anyway, so sweet deal for me! It made a difference of $7.50, so worth it to see if they go on sale again.

For those asking about new Rx transfer coupons, our weekly (Sunday) circular had two more in it this past Sunday, expiring later in July. HOWEVER, I didn’t read them closely enough and couldn’t use them – they’re good only for transferred Rx’s, not for new ones (which seems truly stupid to me…). So they want my transferred business where I have just one more refill left on the Rx, but they don’t want new Rx’s with multiple refills? Yeah, okay…

Go to Riteaid.com and click on the Single Check Rebates to sign up for the program or to view this month’s rebate/promo details. It takes a good 6-8 weeks after you request your check and/or giftcard for the giftcard to arrive in the mail.

For the $25 Rx Gift card, I got an email with a PDF attached a few weeks ago. It had 2 coupons so I could transfer 2 Rx. It expires 6/30/09 – today.

Kimberly Clark isn’t counting anything — it’s a rebate through Rite-Aid and Rite-Aid’s system electronically reads your receipt (if you enter it online). They will count the price the diapers ring up for on your receipt.

Lela-
It’s never been that way in the past (and I’ve been doing Rite-Aid rebates for about as long as they’ve been around). Coupons count as a form of payment. I’d wager your manager is wrong. Whatever the diapers ring up for is the price that is counted towards the rebate (or giftcard in this case).

Jenny – For #61 It is HUGGIES SUPREME® or HUGGIES® Snug & Dry Diapers, 34-60 ct.

For #800 (the free pack) It is Purchase Five (5) Packages:
• Huggies Supreme, 22-46 ct.
• Huggies Snug & Dry, 26-60 ct.

For #53 It is Purchase One (1):
• Mega Pack Diapers

It also depends on this size of the diaper (1-6) and if you are buying regular (Snug& Dry) or the supremes; They each have a differnet number of diapers for each size. HTH.
For Example, my baby is in a size 4 and I buy the Snug & Dry Huggies. The jumbo packs (smaller pk) has 34 diapers in it and the Mega pk has 60. So I can qualify for rebates #61 and #800 and #53 given that I buy 5 packs.

Kay and Angie– so you bought the size 4 jumbo packs (31 ct.) and the rebate did go through? I know that until recently the size 4 jumbo packs had 34 diapers, but now they’re down to only 31, so maybe that’s why they work. I need to buy size 4′s but I want to be sure that the deal will work before I do it! Thanks!

For rebate #61 to get the $25 gift card, the rebate book says you have to purchase Huggies diapers 34-60 ct. When I was in the store yesterday, I noted that the jumbo packs had less than 34 diapers in them (at least for the bigger sizes). So I don’t see how this deal would work. Somebody correct me if I’m missing something!

Does anybody know what Huggies usually go on sale for at Rite Aid? That might make a difference on if I wait for a sale or if I do the transaction now. Also does anybody know if Kimberly-Clark counts the sale price or the regular price to go towards the $50 total?

Only if you need diapers now… I think I might do one transacation this week, and another when they are on sale in a week or two. So that I don’t take the whole $50 blow in one week’s of grocery money, and because we are down to one pack.

Dollar General has stayfree for $2 – if you use the b1g1 with it that is 2 pkgs for $2 – won’t ever find them cheaper…if you don’t have RiteAid stores near you, or don’t want to mess around with the rebate, etc.

Kay – this is the transaction I did today and from all the rebate details, it seems like it should work! I just submitted my receipts for both transactions this morning, so I guess we’ll find out if it goes through.

As for the caregiver’s rebate, the mega pack isn’t listed on the website, so I’m not sure you would get it back for that package, just the 4 jumbo packs.

Oh, and the gift card rebate does NOT include the Pure & Natural diapers, just the Supreme & Snug & Dry diapers.
