Do you like to try new brand-new products for free? If so, you'll definitely want to sign up to be a member of Kraft First Taste.

I mentioned Kraft First Taste on my blog some months ago when it first launched and have been pleasantly surprised with all of the great free products offered from it. It seems just about every month, you can login to your account and get a coupon for a completely free product. Sometimes, you can also send a few free product coupons to your friends, too.

Actually, the coupons are usually not for free products, but instead high value coupons. They are often for $1.50 – $2.00 off a product that costs $3.00 – $4.00.

Money Saving Mom here: From my experience and dozens of others that I’ve heard, they release thousands of free product coupons every 4-6 weeks to their members and then once those are gone, there are high-value coupons available. In order to get the free coupons, you usually have to log into your account and claim them.

I have heard that some folks don’t seem to get as many free product coupons as others, but I’m not sure if that’s because they are logging into their account less often, or because it’s just a random thing. Anyone know?

Just FYI– I signed up awhile ago and wrote this off as a waste because I never got anything into my email about it. I followed the link today though, and found that my account had a few really good free coupons in it. So if you’re going to do this, you may want to bookmark the site and check it every now and then.

I got free coupons even though I registered awhile ago and never once logged in to my account, so I don’t think it’s that. I know some places give you coupons based on the composition of your family (like you’ll get healthy juice coupons for your 3 year old and pizza roll coupons for your teen).

I just got the shells and cheese offer via email. But I’m going to log in to my account and see what else is there. Thanks for the reminder.

I have yet to receive any free coupons, although I have gotten a few of the higher-dollar amount ones that I’ve used. I don’t get any notice via email, I just log on occasionally (maybe not enough). I don’t have any kids at home anymore, so that may be why I’m not getting any freebies… don’t really know :)

I hadn’t received anything in the mail until yesterday (only printable coupons at the firsttaste.com site), but in the mail I received a couple Velveeta Cups coupons – one free, another BOGO. Pretty cool! But when I log into my firsttaste.com account, it says I have no offers or campaigns going, so I’m not sure how it’s all connected exactly…
