What a great freebie! Thanks
Thanks so much for passing this along, what a great resource! I couldn’t find a place to download the entire book at once, so I had to go through and save each individual lesson, etc. Time consuming, but well worth it!
WOW! This just gave me a great idea for some summer learning… I have 2 boys who could certainly use a bit of guidance in some of these areas. I also wanted to re-focus our efforts to incorporate more gratitude and spirituality into our daily lives. I can definately adapt these wonderful lessons for my sons. And someday, I hope, there will be a Christsian wife who will appreciate the abilities my sons will have to offer to a household!
Thanks!!
great freebie! My goal this summer is to get my 12 year old daughter and almost 10 year old son more independent.
YAY! I am so excited about this handook. I will save it for my daughter, but in the meantime I will use it to improve my own homemaking skills!
Thanks!
Thank you. I posted this for Wed. on my blog but gave you the credit. Great find.

Thank you for posting this.
I don’t have kids yet, but am going to download this and see if I can learn something new. I really want to learn to sew. To Melissa: any future wife will appreciate your sons knowing how to do things around the house. I think couples should share in chores around the house, especially since many couples both work outside the home as well. My husband helps with laundry, cooking and some cleaning, but I am still working on him. Both my mom and his mom were stay at home mothers and needless to say they did a lot of the household stuff for us. I learned to do laundry in college. I always kept my room neat, but I think it would have been great if my mom taught me how to cook and do more things around the house. I think these types of household things are important for both girls and boys to learn.
How can I get it to download? I did not see anyplace to click to download
I was going to ask if anyone knew how to easily download. It looks like you must do it each chapter separately, right?
