Also, look in your candy aisles for B1G1 Mars candy bar coupon blinkies. If your store has Mars candy bars on sale for B1G1, you can buy two candy bars, use one B1G1 coupon, and get two free.

I’m so happy you posted this! I’ve been using these coupons and scoring some great deals this week and I was shocked that nobody was posting about these deals! You can really stock up on chicken, just remember you can only use one coupon per transaction! I just drop buy once or twice a day and pick up a small package of chicken breasts or tenders for my stockpile! It’s been an amazing week! Also, on a side note, the food lion brand gum is clearanced this week for $0.34! And it will make a cheap item to add if you’re looking to get money back for buying food lion brand items this week! I just received my first coupon from the free chocolate Fridays on RealChocolate.com. This coupon would be great to use with the B1G1 Mars chocolates also!
Food Lion is the closest store to our house, but I’ve never had success with being a frugal shopper there- even when buying the store brand and sale items with coupons. I’m so glad that they are running this rewards program for purchasing in-store brand items! At first I thought the rewards were only allowed to be used on Food Lion brand items, but after doing more research I found out that it comes off your total purchase. Last week they had huggies diapers on sale: If you purchased 4 packages, they were $7.97 each. I had $2 and $1.50 manufacturer’s coupons for all four packages, plus I had $6.50 in “reward money” from buying Food Lion brand items. So I got each package of diapers for less than $5 each!!
And, the cashier that I had went ahead and scanned all three rewards coupons for my one transaction. I’m sure not all the cashiers would allow that, or if there is even a policy that says you are only allowed to use one rewards coupon at a time. Anyway…I was happy to finally get a good deal there!!
how did you get more than one coupon for the chicken?
I don’t think the candy bar deal works–Food Lion’s bogo items ring up half price.

It should ring up 2 half prices The Food Lion here would ring the full price of the candy bar only 2 coupions then they had to override to enter it.Bi-Lo had bogof also and also had the blinker same coupon but would not let me have the same deal they said they could only take .39 off I don’t think thats right coupion says bigof sale is also bogof .Why do they make it so hard on coupons ??
Our Food Lions here in MD allow the B1G1 coupon. Just push the issue and ask them nicely to please scan the coupon. They will be promoted to write .85/.89 on the coupon and you’ll either get them free or for the tax. I’m already up to 20 @.05 for 2.
Now the free coupon from the Friday relief, have not tried it but will soon as I have one of 4 now.
Prior post was about the Mars bars. And you can only get the deal once per register. So, if there are 3 lanes open, hit each one = 6 bars.
For those who love yogurt like my family, and we eat it all the time you can buy 20 yogurts Food Lion brand and after the rewards it makes it .20 a yogurt cup.
Thanks for posting this! I had already picked up some chicken breasts, but got more when I saw I could get 3 good size split breasts for 75 cents a package. We love cooking them on the grill.
I just played the Guiding Stars game, but I only got a coupon for $1 off FL or Nature’s Place pasta. I guess they have changed the deal. I sure wish I had gotten to it earlier.
