I *think* the Longs here in NO CAL are finally making the big switch! I’m so excited…the only prob I’m finding lately is that the smoking hot deals are all gone by the time I get to the store on Monday! Those of you who are Sunday shoppers need to be nice and leave some for us Monday ladies!:)

The California CVS’s are having ECB’s again!!
[Reply]
My store is open 24 hours so I am able to grab the new deals at midnight. I went over to my store to take advantage of the Pampers deal but when all things were said and done, no ECB’s printed out for me.
I did print the page from the CVS website showing the deal, but the manager said they couldn’t give me ECBs because they couldn’t verify the page I printed was really from the CVS website. (Which I totally understand and agree with.) They said they would hold any items I wish until Monday night so I can go in Monday to speak with the store manager since he will not working on Sunday. Also, an FYI to anyone who tries to do this Pampers deal… they keep your ECB’s and coupons so it matches the totals for the register and instead give you a CVS moneycard for the same amount. No big deal to me, but just wanted everyone to be informed.
[Reply]
I went in to get the pampers deal. I did not get it. I will need to call the 800 number. The manager said he did not have an event code nor did it say anything on my receipt about the ECB. So he said he couldn’t print it out.
Stay tuned!
[Reply]
Do you know if there is a limit to the Pampers deal? I didn’t see any in the ad you linked to.
[Reply]
Anyone know what the limit is on the pampers deal?
[Reply]
FYI, I went to my local CVS this morningv for the Pampers deal, and no ECB’s printed. The store manager would not honor the deal…hope no one else has this problem!
[Reply]
Does anyone know if there is a limit to how many pampers you can buy? Can we stalk up for the year?:)
[Reply]
Anyone else having problems getting the $5 ECB honored at your store? The online ad doesn’t have any supporting info for the manager at our store to use and they don’t have the promo in the store anywhere.
[Reply]
Is the Pampers deal regional? I purchased a package this morning but no ecbs printed and it was not advertised in my weekly ad.
[Reply]
Thanks so much for this site and your CVS 101! I have done a few small transactions in the past month, and they have worked very well! I have a couple questions I am wondering if you can help me with:
1. If I earn ECB’s on a particular item, can I use those ECB’s in my next transaction to buy that same item again?
2. If I have a $2 ECB and a $3 ECB on different printouts, can I use those for the same transaction?
3. If I purchase 3 of the same item in the same transaction, will the ECB’s for all three print out? Or do I need to do 3 separate transactions?
Thanks for your help (or anyone who reads this and has more experience with CVS than I do)!

The Pampers ECB deal did not work for me in NJ today.
[Reply]
The $5 ECB’s aren’t printing on the Pampers for 8.99…..
[Reply]
Wow, I’m excited to try this Pampers deal. Am guessing that the limit is 3 since that’s the purchase limit for the $8.99 Pampers.
[Reply]
Nothing printed when I tried to do the Pampers deal this morning. I am going to try and call corporate.
[Reply]
I tried the Pampers deal, it DID NOT work and the store had not heard of it at all.
[Reply]
I just went to CVS and bought two packages of pampers and did not receive any ecbs. The cashier told me to call the 800 number because she didn’t know anything about the rewards.
[Reply]
about the Pampers…you MUST have the print out from cvs’ website, or else the manager won’t give you the deal. print it out!!
[Reply]
Does anybody know if there is a limit on the Pampers deal?
[Reply]
After the problems with the ECBs not printing and the supervisor not pushing it through, I tried calling Customer Service this morning but they were closed. It said they won’t be open until tomorrow. Then I decided to call my store this morning and speak with today’s supervisor. She was very nice and said she would call their Helpdesk and call me back. Well, I just got off the phone with her and she said they were aware of the advertisement but it is a glitch on the website. However, if I go in to the store she will print off three $5 ECBs for me!!!
[Reply]
The pampers deal isn’t working in Columbus Ohio- no EBs printed. One store manager forced them, the other said basically “too bad, so sad”. I’ll be calling the 1-800 number.
[Reply]
Diaper deal did not work for me today, no $5 ECB printed. I emailed CVS, waiting on answer.
[Reply]
Don’t forget to print out the CVS link that posted above if you are doing the “smoking hot Pampers deal.”
[Reply]
The Pampers deal did NOT work at my CVS, so I had to bring in the printed online info to show them, to get my $5ECB – FYI. Thanks for the awesome deal!!
[Reply]
My CVS wouldn’t print 5 $ Pampers ECB. They saw the add for it but their personal flier didn’t say anything about it. They said other people tried to do the same thing but that CVS wasn’t actually allowing the ECb, that the online add wasn’t from the official store website?? Anyone else having this problem? …On a completely different note, I just wanted to say thank you to Crystal for all the hard work she does on this website! I have really enjoyed reading all 3 of your blogs, and I miss Biblical Womanhood!!:-( Thanks for being such an encouragement to young mommies ! In Christ, Jessica
[Reply]
I bought a pack of diapers today (Sunday) and the ECB didn’t print. Any thoughts?
[Reply]
The Pampers deal rang up at $8.99 at my CVS but with no ecb’s. I went home, printed out the link and brought it in, and they gave me the ecb’s. The supervisor said that the ecb part of the deal is not showing up on their own (store-accessed) website, though she’s searched and searched for it. So FYI, if you’re planning on doing this deal, you may want to print out the page Crystal linked to and take it in as back-up!
[Reply]
The CVS diapers deal is NOT working. I stopped by after church, and the store had NO idea about it whatsoever and finally after calling customer service they said they were having issues with it all morning, but didn’t give a way to fix it, because the extra bucks dept is closed on Sundays, so after 30 minutes in there dealing with it I left disappointed and with no diapers. I plan to check back tomorrow and see if they have fixed the problem. It is a GREAT deal, if it will work!
[Reply]
Well, I tried the Pampers deal today and did not get any ExtraBucks. I had left the printed out ad in the car so I was not able to show it to cashier and ask for them to make ECBs print. I will call 800-number tomorrow and see what they say.
[Reply]
Unfortunately, the Pampers deal is not going on here in WV. I brought the printout and was able to get one pkg. with ECBs back…but they had to manually do it and wouldn’t do any more b/c the limit is not spec1ified on the website. But, a $2.99 pkg. of Pampers ain’t bad!
[Reply]
The unadvertised ECB deal on pampers did not work for me. I bought 1 jumbo of Swaddlers and 1 of Easy Ups. i had a $2 coupon and a $1 coupon. All I got was a $3/$15 coupon. This is not the first time I’ve had problems with one of these deals. What am i doing wrong?
[Reply]
I went to CVS today and printed out the info about the ECBs for Pampers, but no one there had heard of the sale and nothing printed out. They told me, after I had waited about 20 minutes for them to investigate, that I should call the CVS help line tomorrow.
[Reply]
Hi,
Concerning the Pampers deal: the manager at my CVS cannot verify that the $5 ECB is correct/valid. While he did honor it for me for ONE pack of Pampers, he said that the web address where the “coupon” came from is not true to CVS, and also, no ECB of that amount would be limitless (i.e. it would say that the ECB offer would be limited to one or two per household.) Also, it is supicous because there is no barcode to scan.
Finally, there was no Kellog’s cereal at our CVS for the BOGO priced $3.59 each – all were $4.49 or $5.15 per box.
[Reply]
So bummed….. just bought pampers today and the ECB’s did not print out.
[Reply]
Be prepared if you’re going after the Pamper’s deal. ECB’s did not print for me, but I had printed out the web page that said 8.99+5 ECBs. The supervisor hadn’t heard anything about it, and only found it online after I told him exactly how to get to it on the CVS website. He did force my ECBs to print, but it slowed down my trip a bit. Good-luck to everyone else.
[Reply]
Has the $5 Pampers ECB worked for anyone? I bought some today and didn’t get it!
[Reply]
I went to CVS today and they weren’t doing the pampers promo
. She looked at the ad and it wasn’t there. I told her it was advertised online, but she couldn’t do it b/c she had no evidence it was going on. I was so bummed! Anyone have any luck?
[Reply]
My CVS would not honor the Pampers ECB offer. They said that they had no knowledge of it and it did not come from CVS…even though it is on their website.
[Reply]
I bought two pampers today, and I didn’t get any ECB’s, which is upsetting since I USED some ECBs expecting to get some back. I’m going to bring in the printed ad tomorrow, maybe they can fix it.
[Reply]
I went to CVS today and got the Pampers easy ups and the $5 ecb did not print. I showed the cashier the print out from the web and he went ahead and gave me the ecbs but would only do it for one package. Maybe the deal does not include pull ups? I’m gonna call the hotline tomorrow and see what they say.
Thanks for the early CVS deals….I love your site!
[Reply]
Pampers deal worked fine for me today! YEAH- they allowed me 3 packs with $5 ECBs on each as that is what the advertised deal was. I did print off the CVS ad form and they kept it but where aware of this deal at my store. What an awesome week!
[Reply]
I actually did well today……maybe it was because I was kidless. I took advantage of the Dove deal($10 ecb), and got 2 body washes, 1 deodorant, and 1 conditioner for $0.38 after my $10 ecb from last week’s Neutrogena super deal. I also picked up the Dawn, Tide ($5.99 -$0.35), Neutrogena spray sunblock($3.99), and Fusion razor……total spent $0.05 because they messed up. Thank you for all you do I LOVE LOVE LOVE your site.
[Reply]
Just FYI…the manager at the CVS I stopped at today said that the website was a mistake. It was supposed to say buy 3 packs of Pampers at $8.99, get $5 ECB. I had printed the page and he honored the deal, giving me $5 in ECB for buying 1 pack, but the limit is only 1, so I couldn’t stock up on diapers like I was hoping to.
This was my first time to stop in at CVS in awhile. The deals just hadn’t seemed as great and with no $/$$ Q, it often didn’t seem worth it to take three kids in for one free tube of thoothpaste. It was great to have some sweet deals again today, though! Thanks for the post!
[Reply]
I went to CVS today to pick up a pack of Pampers and was able to get my $5 ECB. However, I had to show the printout of the online ad and the cashier printed my ECBs manually. So make sure you take a printout just in case!
[Reply]
I tried the pampers deal today and didn’t get the $5 ECBs
[Reply]
I looked in my CVS ad AND online..there is NO mention of a $5 ECB deal with the Pampers..help!!
[Reply]
I just tried to do the Pampers deal and it didn’t work for me (I’m in Central Indiana). I got the sale price, but not the ECB. I’m sort of irked because that is way more than I would normally pay for disposable diapers, but I can’t take them back since I used a coupon. Oh well, you win some, you lose some I guess!
[Reply]
Watch the Pampers deal at CVS. I was there today and my $5 ECB did not print. The store manager says I need to call the # on the back of my card.
[Reply]
Hi Crystal, I went to cvs and went for the pampers deal. The ECB didn’t print and it was not advertised in the store. The sales people said they didn’t know about the sale. Does anyone have any advice? Did I do something wrong? I gave them my card first and got the correct size diapers for the sale and ecb..? help please.. I am new at this! thanks
[Reply]
CVS would not honor the $5 ECB coupon I took in. Said it was bogus
[Reply]
I just bought the Pampers diapers here in SoCal. They were not ringing up correctly, but I had brought a print out of the online advertisement so they manually adjusted the price to 8.99, accepted my 1.00 manufacturer coupon and then manually printed me a 5.00 ECB. Diapers for 2.99!!!!
I have a question about CVS-ing, though:
CVS is running a bunch of “Buy 20 dollars of X and get 10 ECBs” type deals (Candy/Dove). I don’t fully get those deals. Does the total product have to equal $20 (even after manufacturer coupons) to get the ECBS? CVS is running a Dove deal right now and I have plenty of manufacturer coupons on Dove, but does that mean that I can just get more stuff for the $20 or can I get my real cost under $20 but still get the ECBS?
[Reply]
Any idea of a limit for the pamper’s deal? It doesn’t say.
[Reply]
Has anyone got the Pamper deal with the 5 ECB?
[Reply]
They wouldn’t honor the diaper deal for me.
The manager was actually really nice about it saying he wished he could manually print the ECB’s for me, but he hadn’t heard anything about the deal and when I showed him the printed page from the website he even went to his computer and looked it up himself. But he said there was no way to even push it through manually because he couldn’t find an “event code” anywhere on the website to put in to tell the machine/computer to spit it out. On the website there was a number to call with questions, but when he called it, of course they were closed since it was a Sunday. The manager told me to go ahead and do the deal today (since I had a $/$$ that expired today that I wanted to use) and he would look into it and see if there is a way to do it. He told me to come back later in the week and ask for him. I can either return the whole transaction or if I have my receipt and he finds out it does work, he will print me my ECB’s manually. So, anyway, he was nice about it, but I was pretty disappointed. Anyone else having troubles?
[Reply]
Do you know what the limit is on how many times you can get the $5 ECB on pampers?
[Reply]
SO, my local CVS said I could only get one $5 ECB for 3 packages of Pampers. Anyone else have this issue? I think I am going to go back and ask again. I did print the online ad and I am glad I did because they did not even initially give me the $5 ECB. I had to show them my printout and ask for it.

1:
2 Pampers
2 Fusion (forgot about the 1 limit)
Used 5/30, 2 ($2) Pampers, 2 ($4) Fusion and 17.98 ECB.
2:
1 Pampers
2 Palmolive
Used 10 ECB, 2 (.50) Palmolive.
Total for all .90!
[Reply]
The pampers ECB’s were not printing at my store and the cashiers had not heard of online deal. Out of luck for now. Also, the Banana Boat sunscreens were a few dollars more…the only item that is $7.19 is after sun aloe vera.
[Reply]
I just bought the diapers, but there was no sign and no ad saying that you can get $5.00 ECB. I printed out the paper from the CVS website that gave the information, but the cashiers said they couldn’t do anything to give me the ECBs because there was no number or bar code even on the website ad. So I guess I’ll be calling customer service sometime soon to see if I can get my $5 ECBs.
[Reply]
if you want to do the pampers deal you might want to print off that website and take it with you. my cvs did not have it programmed in the computer, so it didnt work. i had to go home, print off the website and bring it back… not a huge deal, especially with that good of a deal, but maybe i can save someone else a trip!
[Reply]
My CVS trip: $60 worth of products for $4 and $13 ECB’s back. Love your blog!

[Reply]
I just called customer service and they said they know there is a problem with the promotion and they will send it to be fixed and generate the EBs with my card.
[Reply]
I printed out the CVS page earlier today. I just checked the link again, and the “& Get 5 Extra Bucks” part is now GONE. I guess I should have gone to the store yesterday!
[Reply]
Catherine – You actually CAN return something after using a coupon. I thought this too until I was returning the wrong size diapers at Walmart once when we were between sizes. The customer service manager assured me that they receive the full value of the coupon plus some (.08 I think), and point of the coupon was that the manufacturer wanted me to try out their product….and that’s what I did by buying it. They actually should refund the full value of the item (if they do not for some reason—you need to ask for your coupon back).
Hope that helps.
[Reply]
I couldn’t find it on the website any longer so it must be gone.
[Reply]
They just took the ad off the website link.
So I don’t think it was really meant to be, or just some miscommunication
[Reply]
They must have corrected the glitch because the online ad page now has no mention of ECBs at all. Just the sale price.
[Reply]
CVS has changed the ad online, it no longer mentions the ECB’s.
[Reply]
Hello All, I saw the pampers link here last night and printed it and had my coupons ready to go this morning. When I got to CVS only like 4 packages of diapers had the $8.99 sale tag on them, but when I scanned different types (swaddlers, baby dry, etc.) they did scan that they were on sale (the 10.99 packages, not the 17.99 ones). I picked out 3 since that was the assumed limit, paid, and looked at my receipt. The extra bucks did not print but the manager printed them for me, and asked to keep my printout of cvs.com to call and ask about. Then when I got home, the website had already been changed. So I am blessed to have gotten the deal and am sorry for those that didnt. Just wanted to post my experience…
[Reply]
Hello all. I work at a CVS here in the small town of Marion, Oh. Lol. Anyways we recieved a email at the store from our dm that said as long as the customer brings in the printed page from the cvs site that we WILL honor it, and issue you your eb’s. It did say however they have pulled the ad from the site. Anyways hope this helps y’all. I will deff. be taking full advantage of this deal, gotta stock back up on those diaper my son is 4 months old and I havent had to buy a pack since he was born. So my stash is getting low. Take care, and hope this works for you all. =]
[Reply]
Can you explain what the RedPlum insert is? And where you get the inserts you talk about (P&G…I assume that is Proctor and Gamble).
Do you look through the Sunday paper for all your non-printable coupons?
I just received my CVS card in the mail and all the northern California Longs Drugs stores are changing to CVS so I really want to start taking advantage of these deals. But I don’t know where you are finding all these non-printable coupons.
Thanks!
[Reply]
I just came from 2 CVS stores. I had printed the Pampers deal from the site and was able to get 6 packs for $3.99 each. Not a bad deal all around. I think that as long as you ask and are nice about it they should printed for you.
