I sent them an e-mail a few days ago and this morning received a reply. They will be sending me the coupon inserts and should be here in a few weeks. The other great thing is none of these coupons expire before 11/30/09.
Thanks for letting me know. I’ll have to do this when I get home and can look at my label.
I emailed them on Friday 5/15. They told me they would ship it within 3-4 weeks.. and they shipped them out that day! You can check the status on your account at All You’s website
Thanks so much! I can’t understand why as subscribers we don’t get those coupons in the first place.
I emailed All You on Saturday about the coupon booklet. I received an email today saying that they are all out of the booklets, but that they will extend my subscription for 1 month.
I also got an e-mail stating that they would give me one extra issue on my subscription because they are out of the booklets. I e-mailed on the 16th, so they must have run out quickly.
Yes, but will the issue scoming up have the additional coupons that are in the news stand magazine? I really don’t want another magazine that is short on coupons. The coupons are the biggest reason I purchased a subscription. Not really a good way to keep customers!!!
Here’s the email I got as well about extending my subscription an extra issue.
Thank you for contacting ALL YOU Customer Service.Thank you for contacting All You customer service regarding the coupons in newsstand copies. We are committed to all our customers, and want to make sure we are providing them with a magazine they find useful, entertaining and valuable.
Unfortunately we have run out of the coupon booklet you have requested. We are happy to extend your subscription by 1 issue as a courtesy to make up for the differential in coupon value.
As you know, coupons have long been a big part of ALL YOU. Each issue carries many high value coupons. Some advertisers may only want to offer a coupon to a part of our distribution. We are reviewing our policies about accepting such coupon offers. Because we work several months in advance, we were unable to prevent the current discrepancy. While we want to accommodate advertisers’ goals and budgets, we also do not want to have a significant difference between the newsstand and subscriber editions in terms of total coupon value.
I emailed on the 18th and also received the canned email which includes: “Unfortunately we have run out of the coupon booklet you have requested. We are happy to extend your subscription by 1 issue as a courtesy to make up for the differential in coupon value.”
I am not irritated a bit, in fact, it makes me happy that they are compensating to make their customers happy. At least if I want to go buy the June Issue now, I’m getting another issue free later on, so it sort of evens out! Plus I’ll have double the coupons that are actually on the pages of the mag.
I agree with April – I’m one of the ones that are getting an extra month’s subscription because they have no more coupon booklets, and I’m happy they are willing to do that for me. Plus, in our previous month’s magazines there is a 50 cent coupon off the next magazine, so I’ll use that and buy the June issue. I think I end out ahead! Not only will I get an extra magazine with coupons, I will have all the articles, too!
I too received the email saying my subscription would be extended by one month. It seems like their customer service is doing everything to please us loyal subscribers. I’m curious as to what coupons were being offered. Anyone know?
I received the canned response, too, which is okay. I think they probably *are* reviewing their policy about this type of discrepancy given the feedback this has generated. I’m guessing they may have underestimated the communication among their readers on these blogs and other forums
