Pastelkisses-lge

Walgreens reportedly has all of their Easter candy 50% off. Hershey's Kisses are usually priced at $2.50 a bag. So if your store has the Easter Hershey's Kisses 50% off, that makes them $1.25/bag. Buy 4 bags for a total of $5 plus tax and then submit your receipt for the April EasySaver $5 Hershey's rebate (#25) to get these for free after rebate. (Thanks, A Thrifty Mom!)

If I'm remembering correctly, I think there might also be coupons out for these which would make them free plus overage after the coupons and rebate. Anyone remember which insert those coupons were in?

This week Walgreens has a Register Reward deal on Unilever
products. If you buy 6 products, you'll get a $6 Register Reward back. There are reports of Degree Deodorant being clearanced at stores for $1.09 each. If you buy 6 and use 6 $0.75/1 coupons from the 3/1 inserts or this printable here, you'll pay only $2.04 plus tax out of pocket and get a $6 Register Reward back! (Thanks, Mercedes!)

VaselineTOTAL

Vaseline products are also a part of the Unilever Register Reward deal. The 10-ounce bottles of Vaseline Body Lotion are on sale for $2.69
each this week. Some areas of the country received $1.50/1 coupons for these in the 4/5 RedPlum insert. If you received these, you can do the following deal:

Buy 6 Vaseline lotions at $2.69 each
Use 6 $1.50/1 coupons
Spend $7.14 plus tax out of pocket
Get a $6 Register Reward back

Thanks, Mercedes!

Vaseline products are also part of the Unilever promo for a free ham in April. If you spend $40 on Unilever, you can get up to $20 back on a purchased ham. I’d say this Vaseline RR deal would be an awesome one to add into the Unilever promo. I already got quite a good amont spent on FREE Bertolli pasta sauce (also part of the deal) I got at Safeway.

I have a coupon for $1.50/3 hersheys from a recent insert-wish I could say which one…

Rose April 13, 2009 at 2:44 pm

If you’re considering doing the Unilever deal where you get a free ham/turkey (after rebate), you could use these products to reach that goal!

jeannine April 13, 2009 at 2:52 pm

Wow, I can hardly keep up with all these great deals

Shannon April 13, 2009 at 3:04 pm

I don’t see the coupon on the Hershey link – am I not looking hard enough, or did they remove it? Thanks – these are great deals! :)

Hi there – I’m new to this whole thing and trying to figure everything out. I’m wondering – I often see the suggestion of using a coupon multiple times to get discounts on multiple items (like with the degree deodorant above). Will the store let you do this?? Do you use 1 coupon 6 times? Or have to have 6 coupons??

Thanks in advance :)

Which insert was the Degree coupon in? I have searched all of mine and can’t find it. Also, on your earlier post you referenced the Skippy Peanut Butter deal…I only had a $0.40/1 coupon, not a $1/2 in my SS insert.

Kroger stores in our area (Knoxville) have Easter candy for 50% off also.

Elizabeth April 13, 2009 at 3:25 pm

The candy coupon expired on the 12th.

Kate April 13, 2009 at 3:47 pm

Looks like the $1.50/3 Hershey’s coupons from inserts expired yesterday (on Easter) … they knew we would be using them on clearance candy otherwise! Bummer.

jen April 13, 2009 at 3:57 pm

jenae- i couldnt find it either, but i did find one in the 3/1 RP. hope that helps!

The Degree Deodorant coupon is from Red Plum 3/1 and there is a printable http://www.degreewomen.com/women/ultraclear-coupon-signup.aspx

deborah April 13, 2009 at 6:22 pm

At the beginning of this month, my Walgreens had a note posted by the Easter candy stating that the ES rebate would *not* apply to Easter candy after Easter. Smart on their part! :o )

Heather Tenney April 13, 2009 at 7:57 pm

I’m loving the Degree deal! Thanks!

Keri Welch April 13, 2009 at 9:19 pm

Heather, you have to have 6 coupons for 6 items. Unless, it is a store coupon. Like at Walgreen’s, they sometimes will allow the same coupon for more than 1 item.

Amy W April 13, 2009 at 10:02 pm

fyi
the travel size dove soap worked for the $6 RR
the regular size bars work too
neither rang up as 25% off

my store will no longer accept coupons for over the amount – no adjusting.
I had 2 $1 coupons for 99c items. no go. :( (the J&J body products)
i just told the cashier i didnt want them then.

Robbin Moore April 13, 2009 at 10:08 pm

I looked at a master list and there is a Hershey Bliss coupon in the 3/1ss that expires 5/1, the one in the 3/15 expired on Easter.

Robbin Moore April 13, 2009 at 10:15 pm

You can use the $1/2 M&M’s on the first paage of the easy saver catalog on Easter M&M’s making them only $1 a bag.

Meagan April 13, 2009 at 11:51 pm

I just got back from walgreen’s and my store was COMPLETELY wiped out of candy…wow! Should of went earlier…lol

Angela O April 14, 2009 at 6:53 am

Thanks–got 4 Bliss @ $2/ea. Used $1 man, and the ES q. at the front of the book ($1/2, which took off a total of $2). Spent $5 and will send in for the $5 rebate.

jen April 14, 2009 at 7:49 am

is it true that you can’t submit the easter candy after easter for ESR?

Exedrin B1G1 @Walgreens April 14, 2009 at 8:04 am

Exedrin B1G1, Use 2 / $2 off coupons printed from the Exedrin website and pay less than .50 for 2!

Pallavi April 15, 2009 at 3:23 pm

Does the exedrin B1G1 work for exedrin migraine ?

Thanks

Chris April 15, 2009 at 6:53 pm

Does any one know if the degree trial size works too?
