I'm doing a happy dance! KMart stores around the country are doubling coupons again through April 25, 2009. Not all stores are participating, but many are–including those where we live! If I can get over my head cold and I don't have a baby, you know where I'll be this week!
You can check out your KMart ad online (search by your zip code) and if your store is participating, it will be advertised on the front page of the ad.
For more details and lots of coupon match-ups (including a number of free or almost-free items you can snag!) go here, here, and here.

Is there a way someone could post a picture of the circular we’re looking for? At first I didn’t think it was offered near me but then a search in a few other states didn’t show this on the front page of their circulars either. Now I don’t really know what I’m looking for.
Never mind. I found a list. It’s not near me.

I had a great trip yesterday too and plan to go back for more today! I scored 9 boxes of FREE Electrasol and so much more!!! I have a post with picture here: http://www.moneysavingmadness.com/2009/04/amazing-k-mart-super-triplesdoubles.html
St Louis (Missouri) South County is participating in this–doubles up to $4.00 and triples up to $0.75. Happy shopping, all!
Just a tip….
Around here, almost all the Super Kmarts (grocery) have closed. Almost all that are left are the discount department stores. A regular search for locations on Kmart.com will not reveal if a store is a SuperK with groceries or not.
Go to http://www.superkmart.com to search for SuperKs. Bigger stores, more deals to be had!!
I was at the St. Louis store with triple coupons! Sadly, they were out of several of the items I was lookiing for. Also just wondering, am I the only one who seems to think that even with these great doubles/triples, that many items are still cheaper elsewhere?
I went first thing this morning with my coupons all organized, but 90% of the items I was looking for were gone:( Oh, well. I guess you have to go on Sunday to get all the deals. Hope you have better luck than I did!
Kmart is pretty bad about restocking during double coupons. And yes KD, even with doubling up to $2 Kmart can still be more expensive if you don’t watch what you’re spending. I only try to buy what I really need or can get for free!
Does anyone have the information about the $5 kmart gift card mail in rebate with the purchase of four Kelloggs cereals??? I purchased 4 but my store couldn’t tell me how to do the mail in rebate.
I went in armed with my coupon matchup lists from Common Sense with Money and Hip2Save. These ladies made my job much easier with their well-organized lists! I ended up getting $66.30 worth of needed items for $1.91. This was the most amazing trip I’ve ever had!! You can see what I snagged here: http://savingandgiving.blogspot.com/2009/04/k-mart-round-1-6630-for-114.html
I NEVER go to Kmart, but might just make an exception…thanks for the info! =)
I had a surprisingly great trip to Kmart today! There’s one near my work but normally the prices are high, the lines are long and the cashiers are unfriendly. Today they were prepared for the promotion with extra cashiers and the lines moved smoothly in spite of the coupons. The cashier didn’t flutter an eye lash at my Internet printables and the register had no problem when I accidentally used a coupon whose doubled value was higher than the product price – it automatically marked down the value of the double so I got the items for free. Almost everything I wanted was in stock; an employee was restocking the Huggies wipes when I went to get them. Now that I know it’s not an issue if the doubled coupon is worth more than the item, I’m going to have to make a new list and go back again tomorrow.
* The shelf tag for the Vaseline Cocoa Butter lotion said that only the 6.3 (or was it 6.8?) ounce was sale for $2.50 but the 10 oz bottle rang up at the sale price too.
My Kmart isn’t doubling any coupons… guess I’ll have to live vicariously thru all of you this week. lol
I was really disappointed in the Super K near me – they were out of nearly everything that I had coupons for. And I went on Sunday afternoon.
My local Kmart did not have the double coupons on their sale paper, but I decided to call yesterday and ask, anyhow. They assured me that the coupons were going through as double. I spent the afternoon/evening gearing up for this, and then went in first thing this morning. I checked again at the service desk, and they said that even though it wasn’t in their ad, the coupons were in fact doubling. I had sorted my coupons between health & beauty, cleaning stuff, pet stuff, and food. I shopped solely for health & beauty this morning, but in hindsight I should have done some grocery, too – to use the $5 off coupon. I paid $18 for $50 worth of stuff. Not as awesome as others have done, but not too bad!
I asked at the service desk when I went in what the policies were and the lady explained to me that if I used a $2 coupon for something that cost $3, I would not get it free, the “system” just would not double the coupon. I was not happy – I understand they are not going to give me overage, but I should at least get the item free. Anyway, I went ahead and got some things, and asked someone else I saw shopping with a handful of coupons. They said they should give it to you, that they had before. Anyway, I got up to the register and they took all the coupons. Most everything I had just left me paying a few cents, but I tested it on something else. When I finally figured out my receipt, it shows the coupons giving the amount left – something cost 2.67. I had a 1.50 coupon – the receipt says coupon 1.50, then 1.17. so the service desk lady was wrong – I’ll be going back!
I had a great shopping trip at Kmart and Meijer with around $300 for only $73 OOP WHOOOOO! I love Super Double coupon sales!
I did almost have to get the Manager at Kmart because the cashier tried to refuse my Internet coupons, finally she asked another cashier who told her that they do now take the coupons!
Also, shredded cheese was .88 for 8 oz – a great deal!
I forgot to leave a link to the picture of my shopping trip here it is:

Thank you so much for the “tip” on K-mart. I never shop at our K-mart but decided to make a trip with the double coupon deal. I did quite well but missed the $5 coupon on $50 or more. That would have brought my total for $60 worth of stuff from $14 to $9!!!
Anyhow, my question is this, how often does K-mart run these double coupon deals?
I am new to the world of couponing!
