For the Splenda deal, the $3.50/2 IP Q won’t work. That is for the 200-ct packets. The ones on sale this week are the 100-ct packets or the 80-ct with fiber. There is an IP for $2.00/2 at the link you posted though. Not as good a deal as the $3.50/2 IP, but still not bad.

Just linking to my great Walgreen deal for Splenda.

I just went to a new Wags store in TN. None of the RRs printed for me so I got refunds on Scuncis, ChapStick, and Fiber tablets. The manager was very apologetic. Please let me know if this was due to it being a new store, though all their RRs were printing yesterday. Thanks!

Niffer April 12, 2009 at 12:36 pm

skippy is 2/3.29 at my wags (Washington state)

Lynn April 12, 2009 at 4:31 pm

In my Walgreens ad the Skippy Peanut Butter is 2 for $3.29. Is my ad different then other parts of the country?

Priscilla April 12, 2009 at 5:22 pm

has anyone used the Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner? How strong/chemical smelling is it? I need to purchase a new toilet bowl cleaner but don’t want to breath in the harsh chemicals.

The 2 Targets in my area did not carry the new toilet bowl J&J product, Nature’s Source (they had the other items in that line).

The Splenda sale/coupon combination shouldn’t work. The $3.50/2 coupons specify that they are for 200ct packets and the sale is on 100ct packets. There is a $2.00/2 printable, but the deal isn’t quite as sweet.

Hi, Im new to the whole coupon thing. I have a question. I went into my walgreens today and the scruncies didnt work for a rr.. Im in Utah, and Im wondering if its a different region? :( Thanks, Kidscomefirst

Ginger April 12, 2009 at 7:04 pm

Hi, I’m new to your blog but love it. I just had my first experience with Walgreens. The girl would only take 1 coupon for the excedrin because she said the coupon said 1 per purchase. I went along with her but then got to thinking I had 2 excedrins that makes for 2 purchases and I had 2 coupons. Oh well maybe I will call and ask or just strike it as experience. Thank-you for all your help, I’m so happy to be able to shop and save money.
Thank-you
Ginger

I’m confused about the Excedrin deal. If it’s BOGO free, how can we use 2 of the $2 off coupons? Will it take $2 off a free item? Anyone ever have problems doing this? I’d love to take advantage of this deal, but am nervous to try it at my local Walgreens, where I always seem to have issues with coupons.

Nicole April 12, 2009 at 7:51 pm

Anyone tried the Colgate or Skintimate ones? Neither worked for me, but there were two kinds of Skintimate so I might have bought the wrong kind – only the Edge was labeled, but it did say “participating Skintimate products” – Any idea why the Colgate didn’t work? Bought the $3.49 MaxFresh White – used a $2 RR from the chapstick and a .75 coupon. Do I have a way to contact Catalina to get the credit? This is the first time a deal hasn’t worked for me! Thanks!

Rebecca W. April 12, 2009 at 10:50 pm

I did not get the RRs for Skintimate or Edge today here in Houston area. :(

melissa April 13, 2009 at 9:13 am

No RR for Skintimate or Edge in Jax, FL either…the manager looked at me like I had three heads when I told her it was a monthly deal….oh well, no biggie. There are more deals to be had!

june April 13, 2009 at 9:13 am

The ink is not actually free all month…. it was free for one month and cheap the rest…

Amber Pena April 13, 2009 at 10:00 am

I live in Utah and RRs did not work for me on Scuni or Skintimate today.

tracy April 13, 2009 at 11:15 am

I went to my local WAGs on yesterday. They had Scuncis that were double pack. So I was able to get 2 sets for $2.00. I only saw them in black…..

Carrie M April 13, 2009 at 11:24 am

Lysol also has a $3 mail-in rebate if you buy 3 products:

Carrie M April 13, 2009 at 11:25 am

Sorry – that should be “.pdf” at the end, not “.pdr”. Can you fix that?

Karen M April 13, 2009 at 3:31 pm

I’m having a problem and I’m hoping that someone can help me, either Crystal or someone else reading. I cannot roll my deals at Walgreens. I tried to use a $2 RR from (something other than shave gel) on shave gel expecting it to kick out a $2.50 RR for the shave gel and it didn’t. The person behind the counter told me to read the back of the RR that you couldn’t use one RR to get another one even if it was for a different item. Did I do something wrong, or have things changed since Crystal first wrote her Walgreens 101 (which I did read and reread. :-) )

Charity April 13, 2009 at 4:21 pm

The skippy pb is $3.29 BOGO in VA. The cashier would only let me use one .40 coupon instead of the 2. The register accepted it and he took it off. :(

He also tried to tell me that I could only use one RR per transaction even though I had more items than coupons. I let the skippy coupon slide since it was just .40, but insisted on speaking to a manager about using more that one RR. I was allowed to use both as I should have been able to do.

Jessica April 13, 2009 at 6:23 pm

I agree with Karen M above. I tried to get the Skintimate deal last week and thought I grabbed the wrong kind, but the manager said I didn’t get the RR because I used a RR in the transaction. In the same transaction I did the Visine deal and got that $3 RR, but none for the Skintimates eventhough my RR was not from a previous Skintimate purchase… I didn’t stay to argue, just chalked it up to experience and I may be sticking to CVS more anyway because of Walgreens’ changes with their RR and rebates starting next month.

April Jenson April 13, 2009 at 7:39 pm

When I went in and tryed to get the skintimate that wasnt in the new can,it didnt work… but the new style did… Kidscomefirst

carrie April 13, 2009 at 9:39 pm

I also didn’t get RRs on Skintimate and Colgate at my Wags today (in Gilbert, AZ).

Steph April 13, 2009 at 10:32 pm

Regarding the sale on the Lysol TB Cleaner – there are several Lysol items on sale B1G1 along with corresponding coupons from the same 3/15 insert. Also, if you go to http://www.Lysol.com you can print of a rebate form for purchasing 3 different Lysol products they will send you $3! I am really new to all this but it looked pretty simple to me!

tina b April 15, 2009 at 2:49 pm

my ink was $10 today :( . but, it’s ok. still a good deal! :)

Kimberly April 15, 2009 at 9:12 pm

I went to one Walgreens and after spending 45 min getting my deals together, the cashier told me the RR machine was broke. Left and went to another Walgreens.

I did the Scunche deal and was able to get a pack that was specially packaged and had an extra pack free!! I also got the buy 6 deodorants and $6 RR in return. I was able to get the deodorant on clearance ($1.19) and I used the .75 coupons from the Degree site. A great deal. This was my first time getting a great deal. I went to Walgreens 4 times that day.

DeDe April 16, 2009 at 12:15 pm

The Walgreen’s ad I looked at (after purchasing this) did not have the Colgate Max White as a RR – only the toothbrush. I then returned my toothpaste. Also, my W’s was out of Degree. Also, the Wal-itin was $13.99 – $7 rebate = $6.99 total purchase price (not free after rebate). thank you

Sherry April 17, 2009 at 1:20 am

My Wags had many of the Physicians Formula cosmetics on clearance. I picked up two priced at $5.99 each, used two $1/1 Qs (from Sunday inserts but I’m not sure how far back) and then submitted for Rebate #6 – $10 off $10 purchase. So FREE! Depending on the products you choose, ymmv, but still a great deal.

On the Skintimate deal… the register wouldn’t give the RR, but I found a shelf sticker on the Edge shave gel (there was none under the Skintimate) that said $2.99 RR with purchase of Edge OR Skintimate and I showed it to the manager so he honored it. (He actually rang up the Skintimate and then rang up a $2.99 discount.)
