I was just wondering if you could remove #5 on Mr. Linky? I made a mistake-that’s last weeks. #6 is the correct link to my CVS post for this week. Sorry about the mixup!

Happy Easter!

Be alert that right now the Softsoap is only printing $4.49 in ECBs. I knew about this ahead of time and still forgot to check so I’ll have to call CVS on Monday to see if they’ll adjust it for me.

I am totally bummed. I keep checking CVS to see if they have a new Reinventing Beauty magazine, but can never find one. One of my stores does not have any and the other one has old ones with expired Qs. Does anyone know who is on the cover of this one and if they come out monthly or the frequency? I think I am going to contact corporate and see why we are not getting them in our stores in the Richmond, VA area! I was hoping to have one already so that I could get in on some of the deals and of course need a magazine for some of this week’s sales/ECB offers.

I have been noticing no one has been posting about the Softsoap Ensembles Hand Soap deal this week- get 4 ECBs when you buy a pump and a refill. I have coupons from the paper and the $2 coupon from the CVS Reinventing Beauty mag…anyone know how much these normally cost? Any scenarios or ideas for this one? Thanks, Anne

I tried to do the softsoap deal today…and apparently it is only certain scents. I got the 18 oz Pomegranate and Mango Body Wash by Softsoap, and my ECBs didn’t print. When I looked at the receipt, I was charged 5.49 for the body wash and not 4.99. The employee told me that it was only certain scents…

So folks know – Mentos is not $1.29 in all parts of the country. It’s $1.69 in Dallas/Fort Worth. This was a good reminder for me to check prices before checking out. I put together my scenario based on prices I saw online, and just grabbed the gum and checked out. I then owed a lot more out of pocket than what I was expecting to pay.

Carla, the deal is only with the “scrub” body washes.

I can’t seem to get the life water coupon to print. Does anyone know if it still works?

9 Amy April 13, 2009 at 11:57 am

Hello, I love this blog but I am confused about the following deal:

SoBe Lifewater–on sale B1G1
Buy 2 and use 1 B1G1 coupon here
Get both free after coupon and sale

Can someone explain to me how it is free if each sobe is $1.79 a piece? Thank you in advance — I am trying so hard to understand this all!

***********************
Money Saving Mom here: In the case of a store B1G1 sale and a B1G1 coupon, when you checkout, the store will give you one free as part of the sale and the coupon will give you one free as part of the manufacturer’s coupon deal. So you’ll get both free in this case.

Hope that helps!

I also got only $4.49 ECB on the SoftSoap Scrub! Will they adjust when I go back in?

11 Kelly April 14, 2009 at 7:44 pm

I also only received $4.49 in ECB’s for the SoftSoap Scrub. I went back to CVS and requested an adjustment. I got an “are you for real” look from the cashier but they gave me 50 cents in change.

How do you know what products are offering ECB’s? I think I have Walgreens and Rite Aid figured out, but I can’t seem to get this one down yet. Any help is appreciated!

I’m having problems finding/printing the rebate form for the Natural Dentist Mouthwash–has anyone else had the same problem? Is the link not working anymore? Thanks.

Why hasn’t anyone commented on the great deal on the Pantene. Buy 1 shampoo plus 1 conditioner at 2 for 7 use the $3 off 2 coupon and get a free styler with the buy 2 get a free styler coupon. then get 2 extra bucks and it can be done 2 more times for a total of nine products for next to nothing!!!!!!! (9 product for $6)

15 Barb April 17, 2009 at 2:15 pm

Susan- I’ll comment on the Pantene…

The only $3 off 2 coupons I have seen are for the 24 oz bottles which are not on sale…also, the styler coupon and the buy two coupon each need to “attach” to two items so it will beep and not all cashiers will push it through since you are essentially using two coupons for the same item.

If you have found $3 Pantene coupons for the smaller size bottles, please let me know where.
