I found mine in front of the restaurant, but they are supposed to be within a 2 mile radius

The pennies can be within a 2 mile radius of the restaurant. It’s quite a large area!

At the Cici’s I mentioned above, people were trying to drop regular pennies in and they said only the special found ones could be used to try to win. Maybe this one is misinformed!

I found a penny. At our CiCi’s – if you have a penny that has a sticker, you just redeem it for the prize. You also have the option in the store, of using your own penny, to drop into a container of water, and if it lands on the right spot, you can win a buffet, but that’s separate from the pennies you find.

At our local Cici’s- once you find a penny you have to drop it in a container of water and land it on a small round surface to win the free buffet. This was not my understanding from their website, and I was wondering if every store was doing that?? if so, it makes it pretty difficult to win!
