The All You Rimmel coupon says… “only at Walmart”. Do you think walgreens will let you redeem?
**********************
Money Saving Mom here: All You has verified that this coupon can be used elsewhere. I’m curious as to what Walgreens will think of that, though, seeing as many stores have been quite unfriendly towards coupons recently.

There are dove coupons coming out in Sunday’s paper so you might find some good deals there too.
[Reply]
Be sure to check the Walgreens ad for your local area — in my area the RR deals for Dove are buy 4 get $2, buy 6 get $6, and buy 8 get $8 — not the $10 as in the deals posted above. I wish I lived in an area with the better deal!

The link for the Sambucol is no longer working.
[Reply]
When I click on the Sambucol coupon link, I get a “page cannot be found” message. Has the coupon been pulled?
Thanks!

I have about $60 on my gift card and several rr. I was waiting to see if Walgreens would put out a $5/$20 coupon this weekend (even though its been a while since they did that)… I’m not even sure I will go this week. I think I’ll save my money for stuff I really need. Maybe next week will be better. Also cvs emailed me a $5/$30 coupon and I have to use it by tomorrow. Not sure that’s gonna happen either.

I live in Shreveport, Louisiana and all Walgreens here are really taking a dislike to coupons. We can no longer use a Walgreens coupon and a manufactor coupon on the same item. I have tried talking to the manager and emailing Walgreens on their website. I got the same person bothe times. He stated Walgreens is no only accepting one coupon per item. It can be Walgreens or manufactor but not both. It has really made me angry so I have stopped shopping there. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get them to did it the other way?

If the Sambucol IP is no longer working, there are still $3 coupons availlable inside the boxes of Sambucol. If you’ve already purchased some, look inside the boxes. I’ve been using those $3 coupons each time I go to the store. It may not be as good as $4, but it still gives you an overage!

found out today, that the clearance Nutripal bars…can only use 1 Walgreen coupon from coloring book ‘per transaction’…for some reason “some’ of the coupons in that book will only give the amount off 1 item. If you want the amount of a 2nd or 3rd item/etc., you’ll have to split up the transaction. As long as they don’t mind scanning the same Walgreens coupon for each…you’ll get the discount.
This month, I’ve had no problem using the Walgreens coloring book coupon on the Walgreens diapers or the Huggies diapers (also used manfu. on the Huggies deal). I’m in WI.
I did have a cashier insist I could only get 3 items/per the in-ad coupon (chxn broth). I asked couldn’t she ring it up & see if the computer would take it, ‘no’/limit is 3. I asked to speak with a manager but she insisted that they would say the same thing. I then decided that I would then return some of the items…& purchase them at another time with the $10 RR I wanted to use. The assistant manager went ahead & voided the transaction gave me the 3/$1 RR back. And started the transaction again.

Well I’m not sure why but my paper did not have the listerine coupon. All three inserts but no listerine.
[Reply]
For the Listerine deal–near the pharmacy are free magazines titled “Diabetes and You” with Listerine/Reach coupons.
.50/1
1.50/2
3.00/3

My flyer says “buy 8, get $8RR” too. Bummer.
Wonder if we could get away with using the $1/1 Dove soap sixpack coupons on the single bars? That would be a heck of a deal.
[Reply]
I am new to shopping at Walgreens. Last week I did the
Huggies deal, ($25.00 worth earns $10.00 RR.)
Last night I went back to purchase some things with my RR. I bought some deoderant that was suppose to print out $1.00 RR. The cashier told me that it didn’t print because I paid with RRs, but I also paid OOP. I thought that you just couldn’t get more RRs if you bought the same item with your RRs. Could someone please help me understand this. If what the cashier says is true, how could you ever roll your RRs the way we roll our ECBs?
[Reply]
Actually, the dove single bars are ringing at 1.19– 25% off 1.59 = 1.19, not 1.02. So 8 x 1.19= 9.52. So when you add tax, you come out about even with the $10 RR, getting free soap!
[Reply]
I just bought 2 packs of size 4 premium diapers (green bag) and they rang up for only $6.75! It took off and extra $2.25 for the diapers. I will have to go back and get some more!!!
[Reply]
I tried to use the BIGIfree coupon and a $4.00 coupon for the Sense and Spray items. I actually had 2 of each which would have given me 4 and $8.00 overage. Well now, the cashier did not do the coupons right and they ended up costing me $8.00 plus extra tax ($2.30). She had looked at a memo first and said people are getting paid to take these out of here. So I expected not to make the $8.00, but thought they should wind up free at least.
Walgreens seems to ring things up wrong a LOT. Like buying something that say 2 for $5.00 or $3.00 each. I bought 2 and still paid $3.00 each. A couple of weeks ago, I tried to use a $2/2 coupon and the way the register rang up the items (BOGO sale),it would not let me use that coupon even though I bought 2 items just like the coupon stated. And there are several others.Just venting. I have stopped shopping there as much. It is not worth me getting upset so often.
[Reply]
The link for the BOGO on the Glade wasn’t working for me, and that price wasn’t advertised in my weekly paper, but I’m taking the EasySaver coupon and the manufacturer’s coupon with me on my next Walgreens trip anyway – I’m hoping I’ll still get a good deal!

I did GREAT at walgreens today! One deal I did was the listerine products that were 3 for $9. Today’s paper had a $3 off one pack reach toothbrushes AND one bottle listerine AND one pack dental floss. You had to buy one of each to use the $3 off coupon from the paper and then i paired that with the 3 for $9 sale at walgreens and you get $6 RR when you spent the $9 which made the items FREE after the coupon and the RR.
I also did the dove deal, my car will smell like soap for days, i forgot how perfume-y that soap is. Free gum and free panteen hairspray from today’s coupons and then some free colgate with the wags coupon paired with the .75 off. My husband went too and was quite impressed
. Thanks for all the tips

On the Dove deal, our Walgreen’s ad stated buy 8 get $8, but the Register Reward printed out for $10… They only had 7 single bars of soap, though, and I had to buy 1 shampoo. Not sure if that made a difference.

This week Act ll popcorn balls are .39 each with the in-ad coupon. The April issue of All You has a $1/2, so they are free plus .22 overage.

I went to Walgreens today and bought 6 Dove products. I used my 10 RR from the Huggies to pay for my Dove. I did not get a RR for the Dove products. I asked the manager about it and she said they no longer issue RR on items that were paid for with RR. The manager said they have found that people are manipulating their system by trying to roll over RR’s to get things free. I have emailed Walgreens customer service dept. about this. I live in Fayetteville, NC.

Oh my goodness, this my new fave site! Found you through BackWoods DownHome Barbie. Thank you so much for these tips. I’m a coupon shopper if I find them in my local ads or mailbox, but don’t have the time for this research. So glad to have found you, who does the research so well then kindly shares it!
Oh, BTW, the Glade printable coupon is no longer available for print . thanks!

I went through the ad last night, found some deals and looking for more:-) Thanks, this is my all time favorite site, you are always SO on top of the deals!

I tried to do the Listerine deal at Walgreens today, but it didn’t work. I purchased a toothbrush, dental floss and mouthwash and used the $3/3 coupon. The coupon came off with no problem, but my RR wouldn’t print and the manager told me that it was because I used a coupon. I returned all of it….
[Reply]
My Walgreens wouldn’t let me do the Rimmel deal, since it says only good at Walmart. I didn’t try the Dove deal, either, because I didn’t want to only get the $8 RR instead of a $10 RR. I don’t NEED soap, I just wanted the overage! LOL

In case it hasn’t been sent to you yet, Walgreens has an online promotion for their diapers. Buy 12 packs of the Walgreens’ brand diapers or training pants online on sale for 2/$9–total $54 and free shipping (since it’s over $50). Enter the promotion code CLOVER to receive an additional $9.18 off your order, bring the total to $44.82. This comes out to $3.74/pack.
This is great especially for people who don’t live close to Walgreens or CVS!
[Reply]
My Walgreens wouldn’t do the Rimmel coupon since it said Only at Walmart… bummer.
[Reply]
I emailed Walgreens regarding their RR program. I received this email back today. I’m sending this in case anyone else has had the same problem as me – RR’s not printing out when you pay with RR’s (from a different promotion).

Dear Wendy,
Thank you for taking your time to contact our Corporate Offices. We
appreciate hearing from our
customers and value all comments received.
Unfortunately, when you use a register reward coupon while purchasing items
that are suppose to give you
another register reward coupon they usually do not print. Register reward
coupons are sent to our
machines from their manufactures so this is not something that we control
in the store. In there coupon
policy, and on the back of our ads it states that Walgreens has the “Right
reserved to limit all quantities on
all items” and ” Items advertised with register rewards are subject to
conditions and limits set by the
MFG.” Since the manufacture has set these limits, there is nothing we can
do. I apologize for the
inconvenience.
Again, thank you for contacting our corporate office. We truly appreciate
you taking the time to share your
comments and hope that you will give us another chance to serve you.
Sincerely,
Tracy N.

I had the same happen with the dove deal. Used my rebate card and didn’t recieve the RR. Isn’t that rediculous?
[Reply]
All my local Walgreens have a coupon policy that you can’t have more coupons that products. That includes Walgreens coupons, manu. coupons and RRs. So if you buy 10 items and have 11 coupons/RRs, you need to pick up something really cheap to add to it and then have no problems. I don’t know if this is nationwide, so you might want to ask next time you go.
[Reply]
When you buy the 3 Listerine’s for $9, if you use a coupon your $3 RR may not print out….Let the cashier/manager know and they will do it for you. Happy Shopping! Enjoy the $ 1 Bottle of 500 ml Listerine!

I have read many comments about RR not printing when you buy items that generate RR’s. My area stores dont allow that either sothis is my solution. Buy iems that you get rebates for with your RR’s. If you use your gift card to buy things that generate RR’s your money kinda just makes a big circle. It has been working for me.

Juanita – I work at Walgreens and I know from shopping sales and with coupons is is frustrating when things don’t ring up like they are supposed to. Sometimes items are on sale or clearance, they just haven’t been activated by our system. Usually though the cashier can modify to the right price, unless there is some problem doing so, but if it doesn’t mean we purposely are making it hard for you. I love getting sales and coupon deals just like you!
Wendy – Apparently when you use a register reward that you received from a promotion on the SAME items, it will not work. Ex. Buying Dove products to get $10 back and using the $10 coupon that printed from a previous Dove transaction. For some people, when I rang a different register reward up, it worked. Other times, it didn’t.
To All Coupon Ladies – If you are going to use coupons and end up getting them free with overage, PLEASE buy something else that adds up to at least the overage amount or more! Walgreens cannot give you money for your items! I know everyone doesn’t mean to do it on purpose, but if you have to go shopping for other items to make the transaction even, it can tie up our registers. And also, someone had bought the 2/$5 Huggies wipes and tried to use two $5 coupons. That doesn’t work either! You can only use one coupon unless you buy another Huggies item $5 or more. And also, When using coupons to check out, use register rewards first, Manuf. coupons next, and easysaver last. Otherwise it won’t work! Thank yall!
[Reply]
Charity – It was probably because you purchased the wrong toothbrush. I had a similar case this past week, if you don’t get the right items it wont ring up. You have to get the exact items, not just any Reach toothbrush, or the reg. rewards wont print out. If your store is out of the items you need, see if you can get them to ring one up and give it to you when they get it in next, or if you get there early in the week, ask an employee if the SIMS coordinator can order as many as you need and ask a Cosmetics employee to save how many you need behind their register. It depends on the situation, but we can usually do that. Thanks!
