Garnier-fructis

Lacey, who lives in Texas, emailed me with a few more deals she found at Walgreens:

Revlon nail clippers and tweezer are also free when you combine the $1/1 coupon from the March EasySaver catalog with the $1/1 coupon from the 02/08 RedPlum inserts

Garnier Fructis products were only $0.50 each when you combine the $1.50/1 March EasySaver coupon with the $1/1 manufacturer's coupon from a recent insert.

I'm not sure that these prices/deals are available nationwide so let us know if you check at your Walgreens and find these deals as well.

I bought Revlon tweezers in Raleigh, but with EasySaver and $1.00 Red Plum it came out to $4.99.

I got the Garnier deal yesterday in So. Indiana.

You can also get Pantene Natuals for 50c each when you buy 2. You combine the $1 off coupon from the P&G brandsaver in 3-1 sale paper with the EasySaver rebate for $3 off two Pantene products.

The Revlon coupons are from SmartSource, not Red Plum =)

Just thought I would pass along that the Garnier Fructis is going to be on sale next Sunday ($2.99) and will be free after the EasySaver coupon (mine is $2) and the $1 man. coupon.

Misty March 2, 2009 at 8:52 pm

The Garnier is on sale next week for $2.99 so with the $1 manufacturer’s q and the $2 Easy Saver q they will be free :)

I bought 6 bottles of GF yesterday using the $2.00 off in the Easy Saver and some $1.00 off coupons. I have more coupons, so if they are on sale here next week for $2.99.. I’ll be more than happy to get some free. Thanks for the headsup.

I had a question I have $1.00 off MQ’s from a Dollar General tearpad, On the back it says Redeemable at Dollar General but it does not say redeemable ONLY at Dollar General, Can I use these coupons at Walgreens?

Clean Simple March 4, 2009 at 1:15 pm

Garnier is not on sale here in WA state; they’re $3.99 each. So even with the $2 EasySaver and $1 MC, it’s not a great deal yet. I’m saving my coupons to see if it goes on sale.

Our prices here tend to be higher than others, so the deals don’t always work out so well for us Pacific Northwesterners.

In response to the General Dollar coupons, I would say NO they can NOT be used at Walgreen’s. Obviously the manufacter had General Dollar in mind when they printed them up and that’s why the coupon reads as such. Now, if it simply had the General Dollar logo and did not read “Redeemable at General Dollar” then I’d say go for it! But, since that is not the case, I’d say no go. HTH :)

I get so excited when I see other moms, and not moms, find such great deals, I found pert plus as walgreens last week on sale 2 for 4$ then they had a easy saver for 1.50 off 1 which made them .50 I just wanted to scream from the rooftops, why is that, Im I crazy?????? Glenda

I am new $$ Saver, thanks to my good friend Charity!!!… It is working wonders for me here in texas, but i have a question. Can i use more than 1 coupon at a time. lets say I have (and i am throwing this out on a limb) lets say I have 3 coupons for Dove shampoo that are $2.00 off, and the regular price is $6.00 each. Can I use all three of the same coupon, (lets say they are the Manufacture Coupon) can I use them all at the same time and get the Dove shampoo free…… because again, the shampoo is $6.00 each, and I have 3 of the same coupon witch is $2.00 off witch would make it free..??….
I don’t really have those coupons I am just trying to make it all make sence up in my noggin!.. Again i just started doing this about 2 days ago and i want to make sure i understand it all before i get my self into trouble!
If anyone could just let me know if I could, that would be Great!.. Thank you in advance!

Shannon,

No, you can only use 1 manufacturer’s coupon per item purchased. You can however use a manufacturer’s coupon PLUS a store coupon on one item. So, if you had a $2 manufacturer’s coupon and a $1 Walgreen coupon (from the EasySaver book) you could use them together to get one $3 item free. I hope that makes sense.

I went to one of my Walgreens stores in Mechanicsville, VA (Richmond) yesterday to stock up on good deals. Our prices seem to be a little higher than people in other areas report on some things. Our Garnier Fructis products were $4.49 and even with our WAG Easysaver $2 Q & my $1 Manf. Q, I didn’t want to pay the $1.49 price. However, if they are on sale for $2.99 next week as others have reported then I will be happy to get some free. The WAG coupon limits the purchase to 1. Do people use two seperate WAG Qs to get the additional savings on say a shampoo and conditioner or make seperate trips? Also, my store did not have any clippers or tweezers priced at $1.99 that would be free with the WAG $1 Q & Manf. $1 Q. I was able to get the $1.99 Emory Boards though. I did stock up on free after RR or rebate items and bought the Colgate, Vaseline Intensive Rescue, Axe 2 in 1, WAG extra-strength quickgels & Wal-zyr Allergy Relief. I of course applied some coupons I had and had a small overgage from the toothpaste and lotion after Manf.Qs and RR. Also, I will make overage on my medicines by submitting my receipts for my FSA at work. I make around an additional 30% on what I pay plus Manf. Qs and then get it back for the free after WAG rebate. Also, to help anyone with FSA form submissions, since it is your money they refund the price before any manf. Qs.

I went to my other store in Glen Allen (Richmond, VA) today and found that the products are selling for less than my other nearby store. The Garnier Fructis were $4.49 at the other store and $3.99 at this store (orginial price). So, for the other poster that said their items were also priced higher try another nearby store in your area if you have one. Since both can be on my way home from work if I go a different way, it is easy for me to go to the one with the better prices. I found several items to be about .50 cents higher at the one store. I can also confirm the Garnier products will be on sale for $2.99 this week as others have posted. I bought the items around 6:00 pm tonight along with sale items from last week and they both worked. The new sale tags were also out as the guy who works for WAGS said they would be around 4:00 pm on Saturdays. My store said the deals are actually working by 6:00 on Saturday for the next week’s ad. So, I am not sure when the best time to go on Saturday is if you are trying to combine deals.

Can you tell me which insert has the Fructis coupon? I haven’t found it yet. Thanks!
