For the person that asked about why break orders into separate transactions...

I break things into separate transactions to avoid getting one really large ExtraCare Bucks if I desire to purchase multiple items in the same ExtraCare Buck offer. I prefer small ExtraCare Buck coupons to larger ExtraCare Bucks. It is easier for me to spend a $2 ExtraCare Buck than a $10 ExtraCare Buck. I personally tend to make many small trips to CVS rather than big trips since I can't carry a lot and they are on every corner here like a convenience store. For example, if there is a $2.00 ExtraCare Bucks offer on toothpaste and the limit is 5, if you buy all 5 at one time, the ExtraCare Bucks will print all together in a $10.00 ExtraCare Buck. But, if you break those toothpastes up into 5 separate transactions, the ExtraCare Bucks will print as 5-$2.00 ExtraCare Bucks.

CVS has Huggies Baby wipes the refill package on sale for $5.99. I was able to use the $5 off coupon (mentioned under Walmart deals) thats $5 off 1 huggies gentle care product. Well I couldn't find any gentle care wipes so I got the natural care ones and the coupon worked. I just printed out another one and will see if I could get another package of 216 count wipes for .99 cents. Not a bad deal if I say so myself!!

I went back to CVS today and they gave me the $2 ECB they owed me from the third deodorant. I think my problem was also the Dry Idea Powder because I remember the cashier saying it didn't want to work. Maybe it shows them when we should get an ECB on their register. Anyway, like I said in my last post it only gave me the $4 ECBs for the two other deodorants. To get my missing $2 ECB they just scanned my receipt after I showed them and my CVS card and a new ECB printed. I was worried the process would be painful, but it was simple. So, if anyone had an ECB deal not work, they should be able to just print a new one for you! My store was really nice about it!

When I did the coupon scanner it spit out a coupon for $1.50 off Kotex pads, liners, or tampons. This month if you buy Kotex liners (40-64ct) you get $2 back. The regular price at my store for the liners was $3.89. So $3.89-$1.50 (CVS q)-$2 (ECB) -$.75 (man. q) = overage of $.36. If I still had a $1 off any Kotex q from samples, it would be even better. So keep an eye out for that coupon to spit out of the scanners.

I had some problems with the deodorant, too. I could only get it to work with the Regular Dry Idea, not the unscented or powder (even though the unscented was shown in the picture). The cashier said they had been acting crazy and not working very well but wasn't jumping in to change it. Just a heads up.

The ritz and wheat thins were not on sale at my CVS, at least they didn't advertise it on the shelves..didn't want to take them up to the register and have them be regular price.

You do not have to buy a filler to have overage (ex. 0.50 cents MQ off Irish Spring). The MQ lowers your total out of pocket cost or OOP, but you still get the $4.99 ECB, making the item free and then have the 0.50 overage off your total. For Walgreens you may have to get a filler if you have more Qs than items (use store and MQ for 1 item).

Also, I know someone mentioned the limit on Dry Idea is now 3. The hang tags at my store also said limit of 3 on Dry Idea, Right Guard Sport & Xtreme. I bought one Dry Idea ($2 IP Q from on here) and two Right Guard Xtremes ($1/2 MQ), Colgate Max White Toothpaste and the Irish Spring ($0.50 MQ). I used two ECBs that expired tomorrow and got all my ECBs, but on the deodorants it gave me only $4.00. It should have given me $6.00 for the limit of three I purchased for $2.00 ECB per item. On the ECB it says up to $4.00 value, but if they say limit of three then it would be a limit of $6.00. Did anyone else have his problem? Did the other person who had limit of three deodorants at their store try buying three and get $6.00? I just called my store and they said I could show them my receipt and they would give me the $2 back for the ECB they still owe me. Hopefully, it is that easy and the limit of 4.00 on the coupon does not cause problems, afterall you have to buy the items to get the ECB. Maybe the limit of 3 is the stores mistake. My paper says one, and the ECB says two. How confusing.

hi, I went to cvs today and used my $5.00 on any gentle care product on their huggies refill baby wipes on sale for $5.99. Yay!! They had 1 gentle care sensitive pack left and the rest were all natural fresh. I asked if I would be able to use the Q on those baby wipes and they said as long as it scanned they had no problem. Well, it went through just fine, making they $0.99!!!!!

Emily, yes you need to pick up a filler. Overage is good to use on the items you need (tp, diapers, etc.). The store won't give you cash back.

I was able to use the $.75 Colgate Total coupon on this week's free ECB purchase. I did tell the cashier that I wasn't sure if this was the same item. However, the coupon beeped as normal and I was able to use the coupon. Just a head's up.

The cashier wouldn't let me use the cracker coupon, she said the register wouldn't take it for that size box (although the coupon doesn't say anything of the sort). No crackers for me! But I did get the irish springs wash, and two deoderants (my receipt says limit reached now).

Also, on Saturday we got our brand new computer that my husband has needed for some time. He got a Linux, which isn't supported by any of the coupon printers. (The Linux help forums are filled with men whose wives are mad at them for getting a Linux because they can't print coupons anymore!) After a few hours of trying to get around it, my hubby ended up hooking the old "Windows machine" back up to print the deoderant coupons for me! He's such a sweetie!

You can view what coupons are coming out early on a couple different websites, but the best is www.afullcup.com

In some areas they publish and EARLY EDITION of the Sunday paper which is distributed on Saturday. As well, there are lists online detailing the coupons in the Sunday paper. As well, in one town I lived in they did not publish a separate Sunday paper. They published a Sat/Sun paper, so the coupons were available on Sunday. But, that paper didn't carry all the coupon lines though.
