Thanks as always for sharing this. One thing I’ve noticed with Walgreens is to not rush out and buy the FAR items right away…I might miss a better opportunity as in the case of the lipgloss. By waiting, I now get 2 free instead of 1! ;)

crystal February 14, 2009 at 5:56 pm

isn’t there a $3 off q in the ad for diapers and wipes? I’m trying to figure out if you’d buy 2 and get the $2 off and then get $3 off a pack??

crystal February 14, 2009 at 7:25 pm

Oh sorry I had a blond moment I see that you have both discounts there on the diapers… Why oh why couldn’t they be bogo like the other wags products on that page???

Cassie February 15, 2009 at 9:17 am

I did the WAGS diaper deal this morning. I just wanted to let you know that it did work. The computer automatically took off $2 because I bought 2 jumbo WAGS diapers. I then had the cashier scan the $3 off WAGS coupon. It took off an additional $3 per package. The total did wind up being $4.99 each or 2/9.98. Also, the coupon did say limit 3, but when I realized that the deal really was going to work, I went back and bought four more packages. The computer took the discount off automatically and then the $3 coupon off without any problems.

Bethany February 15, 2009 at 10:49 am

The diaper deal worked for me. The first rang up at the regular price and the second rang up with the $2 discount.

However, the toothpaste deal didn’t work. The computer wouldn’t take a coupon with overage.

maggie February 15, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Yes, the diaper deal worked. The first rings up as $8.99 The second pack will ring up as 6.99, for the $2 off. Great deal. I’m buying these for our church.

Adrienne February 15, 2009 at 2:23 pm

So will they really take 2 of the Revlon coupons at the same time? I’ve had trouble with coupons not ringing up if I’m trying to use the same coupon twice in one transaction, even if I’ve bought enough of the product to use 2.

Misty February 15, 2009 at 3:19 pm

How long do you usually have to wait for your first giftcard? I submitted mine online 1/31, and it says it shipped on 2/4, but I STILL haven’t received it :(

Kathy Rambousek February 15, 2009 at 3:55 pm

I’ve seen many posts for a $2/1 Revlon coupon to use with the lipcreme offer this week. I’ve checked through my 1/11 set of coupons and every week since 1/1/09. I just can’t find it. Do certain coupons only come out in certain parts of the country?

Rachel February 15, 2009 at 5:15 pm

Did the diaper deal today at Walgreens, and used the $3 off coupon from the weekly ad. It did not give me the extra $2 off when I bought two. I did buy 4 packages, but one would think that it would at least give me $2 off for 2 of the packages in case there is a limit.

Haley February 15, 2009 at 5:51 pm

I have tried to do the diaper thing, but my store won’t because it is a special price. The add says “excludes promotional pricing” or something to that nature.

andrea February 15, 2009 at 6:04 pm

i did the diaper deal today and didn’t get the EXTRA $2 off!

Catherine February 15, 2009 at 7:20 pm

The additional $2 discount did work for two packs of the diapers, even though the sign on the shelf seemed to indicate it would only apply to non-discounted diapers.

Missy February 15, 2009 at 7:40 pm

Today at Walgreens I was going to buy the Hersheys Kisses that are on sale 2/$4 and then use the coupons $2/2 (can’t remember which insert, sorry). I just happened to go down the Valentines aisle and they had the Kisses $1.25 a bag, ended up getting the bags for 25 cents. Great for stuffing easter eggs.

Becky February 15, 2009 at 7:53 pm

I purchased 2 packs of the Walgreen’s diapers today and received both the $2 discount and the $3 off. My total was $9.98 for both of them. It’s a great deal and they seem like good quality diapers.

Nancy February 15, 2009 at 9:00 pm

Does anyone know what the terms for walgreens rebates are? Is it per-household or per-person(adult)?

Anne-Marie February 15, 2009 at 10:12 pm

FYI: I purchased the Glade “Sense and Spray” this week, and oth boxes contained coupons for $3 off on another “Sense and Spray”. If you don’t have anymore $4 coupons, that’s almost as good!

andrea February 15, 2009 at 10:26 pm

oops just checked my receipt they did give me the extra $2 off!

awesome..so i got 2 packs for 9.98!!!

thanks for the heads up:)

Amanda February 16, 2009 at 6:29 am

I’m going to try the diaper deal later today. I have used Walgreens diapers in the past and I’ve been pleased with the quality. I would suggest getting the Premium Walgreens Diapers instead of the regular. The premium diapers are nearly as good as the cheaper Huggies. The regular walgreens diapers are more like your standard store brand diaper. For a little more per diaper, I have found that it is worth getting the premium. Also, the training pants should be included in this deal and they are great!! They are stretchier and more comfortable for my girls than name brand pull-ups.

Patti February 16, 2009 at 11:24 am

I also took advantage of the sale on candy… green M&Ms (both peanut and regular) are $1.50. There is a $1.00/2 coupon in the Easy Saver Coupon so you can pick some up for Easter!

Honey February 16, 2009 at 12:10 pm

Kathy, yes they do vary regionally.

Teresa February 16, 2009 at 12:12 pm

The Hershey’s coupons are in the 1/25 SS inserts. You may also be able to submit them for the Buy $10 of Hershey’s bagged chocolates get $5 back in the ESR catalog.

Lynette February 16, 2009 at 1:50 pm

My Revlon coupons from the 1-11 inserts expired on 2-15-09. There were some new Revlon coups in my 2-8 SS inserts that expire on 3-15.

Angela February 16, 2009 at 5:57 pm

Just an FYI, got back from my local WAGS and they were completely out of the Revlon creme lipgloss (the FAR variety). I asked the cashier about it, and she said, “Yeah, we didn’t get any in our shipment last Saturday…don’t know why…” My guess here is that WAGS does not want to be giving away 2 lipgloss as opposed to one and that they are deliberatly NOT stocking it this week….so if you happen to have some in your store, I’d do this deal NOW!!

JackieB February 16, 2009 at 9:30 pm

I am tempted to try the diaper deal…the premiums work really well for us. So, from the rest of the comments here, it sounds like as long as you have them ring both packages up and THEN hand them the coupon it should work, right?

Kathi February 16, 2009 at 9:30 pm

Went to Walgreens today to pick up some of the freebies or almost free items and I noticed that the weight loss pills were marked with ORANGE tags! I’m sure those orange tags catch your eyes like mine. They were marked down to $10.49 and they have a $10 rebate on them this month….. pretty good deal if you use them or have wanted to try them. It is rebate #9 in the ESC.
My kroger also had GLADE flameless candles marked to $3.49 today and I had a $4 Q so you may want to check them also.

Miss February 16, 2009 at 9:39 pm

Misty–My first giftcard also shipped 2/4 and I have not yet received it. I checked my status online prior to issue and found a discrepency. I called and got it added on…long story short, I received my post card confirming this and it shipped 2 days AFTER the gcard. I called them and I got a girl that was clueless!! I was helping her understand the WAGs system and I am new to this! She told me if I didn’t get it in a week or two to call back?????

Lindsay February 17, 2009 at 4:31 pm

Here’s why the diaper deal probably isn’t working for some…
The diaper deal didn’t work at our local Walgreens in Northern California because the diapers were priced at $7 each. The ESC says not valid with promotional pricing. Oh well… 2 packs for $14 -$6 WAG=$8
I’ll take my $8 over The $9.98 though.

Kim February 17, 2009 at 5:36 pm

I bought the diapers. I was able to get $2 off the second one. However, our normal prices seem to be cheaper than others because after the $6 off coupon, I got 2 packs for $8. I was really pleased!!

Miss February 18, 2009 at 8:59 am

Update—my gift card finally arrived in the mail yesterday. Hope yours did, too, Misty!

angie February 21, 2009 at 7:35 am

Cassie noted the toothpaste deal wouldn’t work because of the overage. I had the same problem. Is there a way around this? I had 2 coupons for free toothpaste but had to end up buying 3 (.33 each) to this to work. I am I don’t something wrong?

alyssa February 21, 2009 at 11:33 am

Diapers here in Tx are 2/$14, so with the $3 coupon, it’s $14-$6=$8 total. (It did not take the additional $2 off.)But still, jumbos for $4/pack! Yay! I’m going back to get more!

heidi hare February 27, 2009 at 11:54 pm
