Anyone going to do the $10 wyb $20 in revlon?
I am wondering if it will be worth it to get the revlon tools.
there was a recent CRT for $2 off one.
If there are any that are $2 – i think emery boards might be!
then buy 10 = $20
- 10 $1 off 1 manu coupons
- $2 CRT
= $8 oop
earn $10 ecbs

if i do this I will come back and share.

The Gillette shampoo rang up $5.99 for me today. Are only certain types $4.99?

Hi! I had a question about the Tri-scents deal. My CVS had the Starter Kits on sale for $7.99 and the REFILLS were $5.49. The coupon in my SS was for $4 off 1 STARTER KIT and they would not accept it for the refills. Has anyone else found this to be the case? Thanks.

The Gillette shampoo is no longer $4.99 but $5.99. You still get the $3 ECB’s. I think $4.99 was the sale price for a week or two.

The B1G1 Lindor coupon in my 2/1 SS was to receive a Lindor Truffles Trio for free, not a bag of truffles. Bummer!

There is also a $1/1 Stayfree coupon in the February issue of Parents magazine.

I have a question. Are there weekly deals that are repeats of the monthly deals? For instance, let’s say a monthly circular comes out and there’s 3 ECBs offered for a Gillette razor (limit 1), and there is a weekly circular (during that same month) that says 3 ECBs offered for the same Gillette razor (limit 1).

1) Does this ever happen?
2) Does that mean in the month of February, for instance, I can buy 2 Gillette razors to get 6 ECBs?

Hi! This is my first time posting any CVS deals I have done. Very exciting! I bought the Gillette shampoo and it was $1 more than the sale price last week. I think I did a good job, but I know I could have refined it better. I will post next weeks & my Walgreen’s trip (when I make it). Just started couponing in mid-October, CVS & Walgreens a bit later. Have saved over $1100 in coupons alone and am set to get around $60 in WG rebates (gift card). This is an amazing and fulfilling journey! I am loving it! Thanks for your site–the information and encouragement.

Windy, I’m not sure if we have the exact same coupons, but I used 2 of the $4 coupons. I bought 1 starter kit and 1 refill and it worked. You could always try it.

I found Luna bars clearanced for .92. When I actually got to the register they rang at .46. I used mambo sprouts coupons for .50 off. Got 3 Luna bars for .49 or .16 each. I don’t know if they are good or not, but my kids will eat (almost) anything.

I realized this week that I have been doing the coupon thing too long when 13 cents seems like too much to pay for toothpaste!

12 Melissa February 24, 2009 at 5:48 pm

I got a CVS q in the mail for $3/1 any Maybelline foundation! That will be a good mm!

Windy- Did you check the price of the Renuzit at a scanner or register? Although they were marked as $7.99 on the shelf at my stores, they were scanning for $5.49.

Mimi- Sometimes items in the monthly book will show up in the weekly ads. Sometimes it will be exactly the same offer and the fine print in the weekly ad will say the limit is for the month. Other times the item will be on sale for one or two weeks but the limit is for the month.

The Gillette razors are not a monthly deal. They were not featured in the monthly ad booklet and each week the offer number in the ad has been different. Since the offer numbers have been different, if you bought razors earlier in the month, you can still buy one razor and get the ECBs this week.

Windy- Same thing at my store. The starter kits were not on the ECB deal. Gilbert, AZ

Where does one find the Beauty Booklet?

Thanks.

Well, I decided that today was the day to start CVS’ing. I spent most of the morning pouring through info and ultimately decided I would start with the Renuzit tri-scents so I could get the $2 ECBs and figured I would splurge on the 13 cent toothpaste. It rang up correctly at the register, but no ECBs showed up on my receipt. Do they always show up right away or will the credit show up online after a day or two? I’m thinking that because it’s the first time I used my store card it might take longer than normal, but maybe it just didn’t work right for me. Has anybody else experienced this?
