Im new to couponing and I thought about the binder system but I cant figure out exactly how that would work for me. My sister gives me 5-7 of EACH of the coupon inserts for EACH week (my neice delivers papers, and my sis gets all the leftover inserts) so I have hundreds, if not about a thousand coupons. I dont want a binder chock full of baseball card holders. This photo box system seems PERFECT for me! Thanks! OMG I have been looking for something like this to store my coupons in. I already got me one ordered!! I have been using the plastic, check file folders and they just aren't big enough. It has a handle, fits nicely in the grocery cart seat, and the lid "locks" into place so nothing falls out if it gets bumped over. It is just wide enough to allow two smaller size (not business size) envelopes to sit beside each other, so I have two rows of envelopes for the coupons contained in the box. It also has a few smaller "locking" compartments on the lid which I find very handy for holding a calculator and pencil and for stashing coupons I need to hand to the cashier. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my coupon box from other couponers. I've also gotten a lot of weird glances from people who invariably pay with credit cards. I use the binder system and eventhough it works, the binder is so large and so it gets in the way most of the time in my car. The idea of something smaller that will fit in my consol of my car is awesome for me as I commute daily from our farm to work about 50 miles so small and convenient works best for me. Also simple enough even my son can help with this system. May have to blog about this on my blog when I am done changing over. I am so glad to see this new idea for organizing coupons. In fact, usually a coupon for the business you just visited will be in one of those sources, so it helps to actually grab those BEFORE sitting down to a meal or shopping for those vitamins! I just saved $3 off a restaurant meal and 10% of a vitamin store purchase that way! I would caution against ordering multiple Sunday papers just for the coupons. I think it's important to show our kids that we are not only doing our best for the family's bottom line but also that we are doing our best for the environment and quality of life for future generations.
