In Sunday's coupon insert, there was a $1/1 Orajel coupon and an $8 Orajel rebate form.
Buy the Orajel Cold Sore Brush or the 8-Pack of Patches at Walgreens using the $1/1 coupon and submit your receipt online on the Walgreens website to get these free after the January EasySaver rebate. You'll make $1 (minus tax) after the coupon and rebate from Walgreens.
Then, send in your receipt along with the manufacturer's rebate form in the Sunday paper and you'll make another $8 minus the stamp!
Thanks, Shannon!

Here’s a question…if I did the Orajel Rebate last year can I do it again?
Do you know where to get rebate forms if you don’t have one? We didn’t get the orajel coupon in my inserts so I ordered a few. Do you know how to get the rebate forms if they aren’t in your newspaper?
That’s exactly what I did. Love it! Make sure you are doing your rebates online for Walgreens or get a duplicate receipt to send in for the manufacturers rebate if you mail in your Walgreens rebates.
My Walgreens has been out of Orajel for weeks. They always run out of the rebate items. Any advice?
Thanks so much, I even have a cold sore right now so it’s even a better deal for me
I didn’t get the mail in rebate form in my paper. Is there somewhere to find it online?
Jana,
See the website http://frugal.families.com/blog/
The author wrote three articles this week addressing just what you asked. They are dated Jan. 18 & 19, 2009 and are titled, “How to Win the Competition for Grocery Bargains, I, II, III”.
Orajel January 2009, $8 Rebate Offer, c/o Best Marketing Inc. PO Box 180779, Casselberry, FL 32718 **Mail original UPC code & receipt. Postmark must be before 4/11/09.

I just have to ask…is this ethical? Do either rebates preclude you from submitting on both offers, etc.? If there is no issue, I’d love to make a few bucks!! LOL!! But I can’t help that someone (either WAGS or Orajel) is losing on this one…help? TIA!

One rebate is from Walgreens, one is from the manufacturer, so there is overlap and you can do both. The manufacturer is counting on many folks buying this with the intent of doing the rebates and then not going through with them (did you know that there is a very small, small percentage of rebates actually redeemed? That’s why manufacturers offer them so readily!)
Money Saving Mom here: Yes, it’s ethical– I try very to do my best to only promote above-board couponing here.
They are also doing this as a marketing gig. They are wanting to promote Orajel and hope that by giving it away to you “free” or more than free, you will discover a new product that you like and then start buying it regularly.
And it often works! We’ve gotten hooked on a number of products that we would have never purchased had it not been for the initial coupon/rebate/ECB offer. And I’m guessing we’re not alone.
Hope that helps!
Well, there’s a rebate form online, but it’s only for $1.50.

Where to find the $8.00 rebate? Can you just send in the appropriate information to the appropriate address and it will work?
Nevermind that last comment. The link no longer works!
I was also wondering if you can just send the appropriate info in if they will accept that? does anyone know? or does anyone have an extra rebate form?! if so, please email at jenlholt (at) hotmail (dot) com
There wasn’t a rebate form to fill out. They just provided the address with a little blurb about getting $8 back.

I am excited about getting the item free plus making money from this deal after the coupon, and two rebates. I don’t even need the medicine because I have never gotten a cold sore, but I bet I can find someone that may want it. Don’t forget if you have a flexible spending account with your work or husband’s work then you get money back on your purchase as well. I heard after the tax free savings on the money it is about 30% back on what you spend.
In Northern California, the Orajel rebate form came in the 1/11 inserts.
