Once you have been doing this a while, you will find certain cashiers who will ring all your coupons. Just go back another day and try again. I am lucky, we have 4 Wag's here in Battle Creek--so I just go to a different one when I get a bad cashier. Also, sometimes the cashier's will change my coupons to make the item free--instead of paying overage. To Meghann: Some Wag’s cashiers are fussy. One discount is from the store the other is from the manufacturer. It says that on the manufacturer's coupon because the manufacturer does not want you to combine say $1 manufacturer's coupon with a .50 manufacturer's coupon-otherwise they would have just printed the coupon to say $1.50 off. Hope that helps. Also see moneysavingmoms tutorials in her archives for more help. And I recommend "the coupon mom" book for advanced coupon strategies-they have it in ebook form.
