Just wanted to point out that you can actually make $9 on the Orajel deal. Submit for a full refund from Wags, and along with the $1 coupon there was a refund offer from Orajel up to $8.00. Works for me!

It was fun to see you mentioned in Woman’s Day magazine! You are getting pretty famous…..did you ever imagine when you were just a young woman and publishing your little newsletter that you would be in a major magazine like that someday?

julie January 17, 2009 at 8:07 pm

i’ve missed theese post so glad you’re back

Zombiemommy January 17, 2009 at 9:24 pm

Yes I saw your quote in Women’s Day too! I remember back when you used to get about 80-100 comments on a post…. Then near the end of last year, you had like some 800 entries for a few of your giveaways. Woah you go!
I hope your vacation was great from the blog world.

Laura Leigh January 18, 2009 at 6:28 am

I saw your quote in Woman’s Day as well. Congrats! You are definitely hitting the big time!

Just thinking that we should probably avoid this peanut butter deal until they figure out exactly which brands of peanut butter are affected by the salmonella outbreak…

Lexa January 18, 2009 at 2:09 pm

I read about you in Women’s Day, too! How encouraging to see those with stewardship and Christ-centered lives in mainstream media! :)

Tracy January 18, 2009 at 6:52 pm

OH MY GOODNESS! You are a shopping GENIUS! This a awesome! I can only hope to train my mind to work like this someday…Or why should I when I have you to do this for me! What an awesome blessing you are to so many! COOL!

Sandy January 18, 2009 at 7:06 pm

It’s great to have you back in full force. I find your blog very helpful and easy to understand. You’ve given me the inspiration to start my own blog.

I’m new at this and so please be patient with my mistakes. I recently added an entry regarding my Walgreen’s deals and I made a mistake and posted last weeks deals. I went ahead and posted the correct deals so that’s why you see my postings twice.

Has anyone else had problems with the Macadamia nuts? I ran in and bought 2, the cashier scanned it but it beeped. So she typed it in and then it worked. Could it possibly be that I only bought those two things? Would it have worked fine if I had bought more than just two packages of nuts? Thanks

$3 ECB when you buy 3 Hallmark cards. Just choose the $0.99 ones and you’ll get three Hallmark cards for free!

Charity January 19, 2009 at 7:32 am

Thanks for such a wonderful site and great post. I just recently found your blog from another blog I read and this has been a blessing. Keep up the great work Thanks!

Emily Mitchell January 19, 2009 at 8:34 am

Yum – I am loving my chocolate covered Macadamias… might go back and get more!
I bought $20 worth of pepsi products (3 cases, 1 two liter and 4 bags of chips) I got the $10 voucher, then came back and bought 2 ziplock bags with a mfg coupon (final $3.50/2), two Dawns w/ mfg coupon, two chocolate macadamias, valentine cards w/ coupon and 3 tissue papers.

Please elaborate on the AutoExpressions Vent Fresh Elite Auto Air Freshener deal you mentjioned above. You say
‘Free plus overage after both rebates’, but how do you enter your receipt for both rebates if they both say to have the original receipt?? Thanks for all your hard work on posting the deals.

*********************
Money Saving Mom here: Sarah, you can now enter your receipts online to receive rebates from Walgreens. So you’d first enter your receipt online for the Walgreens rebate and then send in the original receipt for the manufacturer’s rebate. Does that make more sense?

Hi everyone found out something that I would share. Went to Walgreens this morning (I live in Chicago) and tried to get the soda deal with my $10.00 catilina from yesterday by doing the dove and food deal. They informed after my catalina did not come out for the soda that if you use a Catalina to pay you will not get a Catalina that is owed to you to come out. Just thought I would share in case any one was thinking like I was and taking the Catalina and rolling them. I asked her how long this was going on cause I have rolled Catalina in the past and she informed that it is a new policy.. hope I helped..

****************
Money Saving Mom here: Just so you know, your store was misinformed–as sadly, is often the case. You cannot roll a catalina deal on the same deal. But you can roll a catalina from one deal to purchase another, different catalina deal. Make sense? If your catalina doesn’t print, either immediately return items and re-buy to see if it prints, or else ask them to issue you a gift card. If the catalina does not print the second time, the issue is with their catalina printer, not with what you bought (providing you did buy everything correctly.)

Hope that helps!

thank you so much for your help moneysavingmom I will let the rest of my friend know that walgreens didn’t quite explain it right.

Laura January 20, 2009 at 5:01 am

i am just starting out with coupons and cvs and walgreens. i am new at it all. i am wondering, since u mentioned using a coupon from here: 11/16 Red Plum insert …. how can i get a hold of this coupon? since i am just now starting. can i get older coupons from somewhere? thanks!

Katie January 20, 2009 at 1:03 pm

I was in Walgreens yesterday and they were clearancing out a large amount of Sunsilk and Dove shampoos. They were on clearance for $1.19, but there is a RR deal this week that if you buy 8, you get $10 in RR. So, I spent $9.60 and got back $10. I am not sure if every store will have such large quantities on clearance, but these will make a great addition to our church’s missionary box!

Genny January 21, 2009 at 1:20 pm

I just wanted to add that there is a rebate with the Oragel, not only can you get the Walgreens free after rebate, you can send your receipt and UPC into the manufacturer and get an additional rebate. Thanks
