For those of you with a Safeway or Safeway-affiliate store nearby, be sure to check out your ads. Many folks are reporting there being a coupon in the ads for a free tall tea at any Starbucks in-store location. I'm not sure when the coupon expires, but if your ad has it and you like the teas at Starbucks, you might want snag yourself a small stack of ads.

I just saw on another blog that the free tea coupons are also inside Starbucks stores. I also read that they have coupons for $2 off your next tea. I think I will be heading to Starbucks today. I have my Swagbucks gift card. I tried one of the chai teas yesterday.

The offer is good until Jan. 20. Check the paper ads. The only ads don’t have a UPC.

Oh, I’m going to look right now. Our apartment complex always leaves a huge stack of mid-weekly grocery ads, and half of them go unclaimed.
I came to this post thinking it was going to be about UK Safeways, sadly it looks like it’s a US only offer so I’m going to have to pay for my tea!

I got this coupon as a CRT with my receipt at Target. Good only at all in Target Starbucks locations.

It was for the new flavored tea drinks which I do not like. I gave the coupon away. There was also a reusable card for the tea drinks for $2 every afternoon through February
You think after the Tea Time fiasco from yesterday I would be done with Starbucks but… NOPE. I picked up the Green Tea Latte after I messed up and asked for Green Tea. He gave me the hot water and I was like, “no it’s frothy”. So he made the Latte and gave me the hot water and told me to pick a tea I wanted. NICE!!
It’s only for the TALL and one coupon per visit which expires on the 20th. It’s on the very back of the Safeway ad. I plan to be there every day until the 20th even though it tasted different that the actual retail version. I’m a true sucker for freebies.
PS – at my location, if you insisted you could get ANY tea you wanted.

Peep ALL around on the counters while there… or even ask. I found a leaflet containing a free tea and the $2 after 2pm tea coupon too. Day 2 and I’m still on the Green Latte!!
