Caribou

From the press release:

Caribou Coffee Company, Inc. the second largest company-owned gourmet coffeehouse operator based in the U.S., will give away free cups of decaf coffee starting at noon on Friday, January 30.

The promotion is in response to competitor Starbucks eliminating decaf coffee ready in the afternoons. All Caribou Coffee locations will offer free 12-ounce cups of decaffeinated coffee from noon until closing on Friday, January 30.

Thanks, Mommy Snacks!

Just a quick note to let you know I'll be taking today off from blogging.

Our 20-month-old, Kaitlynn, fell and hit her head last night. After showing multiple signs of head trauma, we ended up taking her to the ER.

Gratefully, it appears all is well and we were able to go home early this morning. However, after being up most of the night with her, I'm more than a little tired.

So I'm taking today off from blogging to rest, spend time with my girlies, and recover from our rather eventful night. Thanks for your patience! I'll be back to the usual blogging tomorrow morning.

I was wondering if any of your readers had ideas for
frugal wedding gifts? My youngest sister is getting married and I
would like to give her something nice but our budget is limited. I'm not very creative or crafty, so it has to be something
simple to do. I am a mom of 7, as well, so time is limited. -Michelle

I'd love to hear your ideas and suggestions for Michelle. With "wedding season" fast approaching, I'm sure many of us could benefit by hearing about your frugal but thoughtful wedding gift ideas. Post away!

Find any other great deals at Wal-Mart this week?

Please Note: Wal-Mart prices vary somewhat by region and
store so not all of the prices listed below will necessarily be what
your local Wal-Mart prices will be.

Also, many of you have written to say that your Wal-Mart is refusing to
accept printable coupons. According to Wal-Mart corporate coupon policy,
this is incorrect. I'd advise you to keep a copy of Wal-Mart's coupon policy
handy with you when you shop.

If politely showing that to the cashier
or manager does not result in Wal-Mart accepting your printable
coupons, I'd encourage you to put in a call to Wal-Mart corporate and
kindly ask them to inform your store of their coupon policy on
printable coupons. In almost every case, this will remedy the situation.
