Have you ever returned something that is free after ECBs? How does that work in regards to the ECBs that have already printed on the purchase transaction? I purchased the 2 nasogels the other day and completely forgot to use my $2/1 coupons, so I’m mad at myself for missing out on a $4 moneymaker. Thanks for everything.

2 Bridget January 17, 2009 at 5:30 pm

Here are the coupon inserts info for the Maybelline Makeup. Hope this helps. Bridget :)

-$3 Maybelline Foundation RP 10/26, Exp 1/26/09
-$2 off Maybelline FOUNDATION off any ONE , RP 9/21/08, EXP 12/31.

I’ve been following your blog and Mercedes’ blog for a few months and have really started to get some good deals at Walgreens. (It took me a while to build up my supply of manf coups, but now I’m set.) Thank you for saving me so much $$$!
We don’t have a CVS anywhere near us, but we are going to visit my family in a couple of weeks, and there is a CVS near them. Can I use my ECBs in the same trip to the store? I’m just trying to decide if it’s worth my time to try a CVS shopping trip while on vacation (assuming there are deals on things I use).

Here’s another free after ECB deal: By 3 American greetings (in some areas it’s Hallmark brand) cards, prices starting at .99, get $3 ECB, so 3 free greeting cards!

I just wanted to say that my dawn bogo price is $1.99 and i don’t know about what city/state you all live in but i’m in florida my wags and cvs only sell 8 packs of soda. So i never had that RR deal at wags last week, which i really wanted. My pepsi deal at cvs is 5-8 pks for $10, wags is 4 8-packs $9. Do you guys have the same deals, or diff ones w/ 12 pks? just curious

6 Jodi W January 18, 2009 at 12:40 pm

You would have to do two transactions. First buy the items that will earn you ECBs, then buy other items using the earned ECBs.

7 Susan January 18, 2009 at 2:58 pm

I found a Zantac moneymaker if you have the CVS CRT for $2 off Zantac and haven’t used the $5 MIR for Zantac.

Grab the Zantac 75 $1.50 off coupon in 11/9SS and the Zantac 150 $1.00 off coupon – also in 11/9SS. The $5 MIR form next to the mfg coupons.

If you have the $3 off $15 worth of FSA-eligible products, then combine the Zantac purchase with the 2 CVS allergy meds (the ones that are free after ECBs).

I posted what I did on my blog, but thought I’d point it out.

As far as I could tell from my morning transaction, the Reese’s Whips are not counting towards the candy deal. I bought 8 of them, and I did not get a message at the bottom of my receipt saying that I had $4 towards the deal, as it would normally.

I haven’t been to Walgreens in awhile, but was wondering about how they are handling the manuf. coupons on top of the Register Rewards? The last 2 times I went (several months ago), the register rewards weren’t printing when I used manuf. coupons. They said that was their policy. I noticed that they are now advertising that there are coupons in the paper to go with the register rewards deals? Anyone know if they changed their policy again? I think it varied per store before. I’d love to use the Skippy coupons with the RR deal this week. Thanks!

I used the coupons for the excedrin at CVS today. There was also a coupon on the box to save $1 now. I didn’t think that the computer would take this coupon on tor of the others, but it did! This means that you can make $1 on the excedrin if yours has the coupon!

The best thing this week is on page 5 of the ad. If you buy 3 Hallmark cards, you get $3 eb. Buy three .99 cards for $2.97 and get $3 eb back! And the limit is 5!!!!! So you can get 15 cards and get paid .15! :) Blaire

12 Tanya January 18, 2009 at 10:59 pm

I posted my deals on my blog: http://cvs-saver.blogspot.com/2009/01/cvs-week-of-118-124.html

Elle,
You’ll be able to use them on the same trip – you’ll just have to do separate transactions :) Hope this helps!

13 Amiyrah January 18, 2009 at 11:17 pm

Hi Crystal!

On the pepsi deal for CVS, the frappacinos DO NOT work for the deal. I did it today and it said that I was under by 5.00 to get the ECB. I returned the fraps and got 2 more bags of tostitos, and it worked then.

14 Lisa January 19, 2009 at 7:32 am

Has anyone had any luck printing the $15/1 Rogaine coupon? When I click the link I get this message: “There are no prints available for this campaign. You may close this window.”

15 My Boaz's Ruth January 19, 2009 at 9:33 am

Our Dawn is $1.99 too (And it says in the ad “Buy 1 Dawn at $1.99 get one free)

16 Rae January 19, 2009 at 1:01 pm

I did a bunch of CVS shopping yesterday because I had a lot of ECB expiring this week. I got a few of the Cottonelle packs and some randomn stuff that was on clearance but then I also took advantage of the following deals:

-the free after ECB allergy medicine
-2 free Reese’s Whips bars on sale for 2/$1 had a $1 off 2 coupon from past paper
-8 12packs of Pepsi products for $1.75 each after ECB… on sale for 4/$12, bought 8, got back $10ECB
-Herbal Essences $.99 per bottle after ECB and coupon from brandsaver

17 Nancy January 19, 2009 at 1:08 pm

What size Aquafina water is working (12 0r 24 count)? My store doesn’t list it as part of the deal.

18 Amy January 20, 2009 at 2:47 pm

Ok, I am new to CVS-ing, but I learned some new things from my local CVS manager (in East Texas). Since there were no Cottonelle t.p. 20 roll packs today, and he didn’t forsee any shipment, he offered to let me get another item of equal price ($12.97 on sale) and still receive the ECB’s. And he also told me that the product coupons that print at the end of your receipt (i.e., $1 off an eycare item) are NOT product specific. Meaning you can use them and get $1 off ANY item. So, don’t throw away those receipt coupons just because you won’t buy that specific item! Let’s try it!

19 Susan January 20, 2009 at 10:20 pm

RE: Excedrin peelies….I didn’t think you could use two mfg coupons on one purchase, BUT today when I went to get the greeting cards, I scanned my CVS card and got a $1 Excedrin CRT, which you can use with a mfg. coupon. This is great to do with the greeting cards if you haven’t used your $2 ECB from the Garnier Fructis deal. I used the $1 Excedrin CRT, the $2 Excedrin SmartSource blinkie and the $2 ECB from Garnier to buy 3 American Greetings cards and one pack of Excedrin. Got $3 ECB back for a $1 Moneymaker!

20 Juanita January 21, 2009 at 9:57 am

Hi everyone. My daughter (who lives in San Diego, CA) has reported that her local CVS is not offering the BOGO deal on Dawn, the dawn is listed as buy 2/$3. Bummer!

Well ladies, on my blog I am doing what I call ‘CVS on a $10 budget’ Check it out!

I also had no luck with the Rogaine coupon. Too bad!

22 Anne January 21, 2009 at 4:38 pm

I didn’t have any luck with the Rogaine coupon on Sunday, but just got two to print a few minutes ago. My dad is going to love it! :)

23 Nancy January 22, 2009 at 9:58 am

The aquafina water didn’t work for me. Is it working for anyone?
