Caribou Coffee Company, Inc. the second largest company-owned gourmet coffeehouse operator based in the U.S., will give away free cups of decaf coffee starting at noon on Friday, January 30.
The promotion is in response to competitor Starbucks eliminating decaf coffee ready in the afternoons. All Caribou Coffee locations will offer free 12-ounce cups of decaffeinated coffee from noon until closing on Friday, January 30.

I think is it great that Caribou Coffee is giving away free decaf coffee BUT my husband works for Starbucks and they are not completely cutting out decaf coffee in the afternoons. It is the stores choice whether or not to brew it in the afternoons depending on request for it. Just thought I would pass this along. Check with your local Starbucks to see if they are brewing decaf or not.
