I sent DH to Walgreens for me tonight to use the $5/$25 coupon and one of the items he purchased was the fresh max toothpaste. The Register Rewards for the toothpaste didn’t print, and the manager said it was because of the $5/$20 coupon. Have you ever heard of this?
Also, the All coupon won’t print. I tried 3 times, filled out the registration, then when I clicked the print button, I got an error screen.

Thank you, Patrice! That link worked for me.

The bottom of the $5/20 coupon reads “$25 AFTER all MFQ and other discounts” So you you final bill must be $25 or more then get the $5 off. Not as great of a deal as I had thought. I am not so impressed with Walgreen shopping as I am with CVS.

I used the $5/$25 Q with no problem yesterday in Chicago. My total was $29.xx and the Q scanned fine and I had a stack of other Q’s (Bic,Reach, various Wags Qs, etc) and the RR for the Reach printed out just fine.

Perhaps this is a YMMV thing?

Ive been trying to save money so i started doing research and thankfully i found your blog “Money Saving Mom”. I read yours and everyones blogs and I was amazed by what I read. On Monday I read and read about Walgreen’s and what I can get for practically nothing. I was going to get 2 Alls 2 glade scented oil candles 2 glade flameless candles and the toothbrushes so i can get the rr. I added it all up subtracted the coupons and it came out to $1.58. I was skeptical but i went to walgreens with extra cash just in case lol. They didnt have the all so i got a extra candle and my son wanted popcorn. I went to the register it came out to $28 and change. OMG I’m sweating this is not in my budget. I only have $25. She used the $5/$25 first ok i give her my other coupons. it felt like forever before my new total…$2.47. WOW!!! I was in shock. I read about this but i never thought I could do it. $2.47 for something thats worth about $40 I wanted to scream with joy. I didn’t get the rr but it really didn’t matter to much because of my excitement. So Id like to thank you and all the other bloggers for doing what your doing.

Just wanted to let you know- we have a sick baby and today the dr. said we needed a humidifier. Not really excited about the unexpected expense, I went online to find what was the cheapest and when I looked at Walgreens I noticed they had their humidifier in the rebate catalog for a $10 rebate! I sent my husband to the store to get it and the price was $35.99 before the rebate. When he got to the register and paid for it, he got a $5 RR!!!!! $20 for a humidifier isn’t too bad!
The RR says “Holiday Dollars” and the wording is a little different from the normal RRs. It was such a nice surprise when he brought it home! :)

The Gum didn’t work for me. My coupons were for 17 stick gum and the ones on sale were 15 stick gum. I was bummed. But this is what I did:
4 ~ Revlon Nail Polish
18 ~ Christmas Pencils
1 ~ Glade Flameless Candle
2 ~ Colgate Toothpaste
4 ~ Hershey’s Chocolate
2 ~ Reach Dental Floss
2 ~ Reach Toothbrushes
I did this in two transactions.
Final Cost was: $23.69
BUT…….
I used the full OOP of $23.69 on my Walgreens Gift Card from previous Rebates.
Plus…..
I got $21.00 in Register Rewards
AND…….
I will get $5.00 back on Rebate for the Hershey’s!!!
Grand total of: I MADE $2.31 out of this deal! YEA!

Sorry ~ I don’t have a website to link this to! :)
