Did you miss me this morning? I decided to take the morning off and instead clean the house because I can't seem to do enough of that these days.
(I'm only 20 weeks along, but I am nesting like crazy. And I do mean crazy. The kind where I can't go to sleep at night because I "need" to stay up until 4 a.m. mapping out in painfully minute detail every possible thing I can come up with that I need to do in the next 18 weeks. Yeah, that kind. Or the kind that makes me scrub down any little spot I find in our almost-new carpet immediately. Because, you know, things like that can't wait. 
I hope that this nesting thing slows down a little bit because I really need some sleep!)

Lady Di – There is a Krispy Kreme in Columbia, MD, that looks open when I drive by. I try to stay away from sugar and haven’t been in for a donut in a few years.
Oh yeah, I know where they are but I’m over 45 mins from them. Not worth it unless I’m in that direction and I don’t know if they are “participating” as I selected “not one in my area” as an option, for the heck of it.
Thanks for the coupon! I remember ironing burp cloths and baby sheets constantly and stocking up like 40 bags of diapers in preparation for my second:)

I nested so bad with this last pregnancy. I nested for about 7 months! But it was sooo worth it. I’m able to spend more time with the kids now that Kaydi was born since I got everything in order. And I was up late, too. Until 3AM sometimes. But it was a blessing in disguise as the feedings every 2-3 hours doesn’t seem to bother me too much. I lived on no sleep for so many months and I think I’ve just gotten used to only 4 hours a day. So if you keep up the nesting and not sleeping, look at it as a possible blessing, too!
That’s the only way I got through it myself.

Seems like there are several blogging mamas who are expecting – congratulations! I’m 21 weeks myself, so we’re pretty close. Nesting hasn’t hit in earnest yet for me, though.
Nesting hit me differently with each child (and not at all with #4 because I was so sick with him). At our local KK, all you have to do is walk in the door and you get a free donut. Aren’t all KK’s like that?
Every day at our KK, if the neon sign is flashing, the donuts are being made fresh and they’ll give you a complimentary glazed donut.
I followed the link, joined, selected my local KK, but didn’t get a coupon.
oh – you should have mentioned that you have to pick a store! I didn’t pick one because it wasn’t required and so didn’t get the coupon!
In many states, Krispy Kreme no longer offers free donuts when they are hot and fresh. It was a sad day when they stopped offering it here.
I can completely relate! I am 13 weeks pregnant with #6. I have been getting up at 4am when my husband leaves for work so that I can clean and clean and clean. We are planning a move soon, and I just don’t feel like there is enough time. I love the work, though. I just think that I should be loving sleep more.
