Is it *crazy* that reading this post is one of the most exciting moments of my day??!!!

tanyetta December 16, 2008 at 2:22 am

I received a $5 off $15 purchase coupon. NO clue what to use it on. :(

Allyson December 16, 2008 at 7:37 am

The Shick razors at my store actually give a $3 ECB instead of $4 (in Georgia). Also, I cannot find travel sized Johnson and Johnson first aid kits. Any clue where to find these in the store?

Jennifer December 16, 2008 at 10:04 am

First Aid kits are found in the Trial Size area in the store.

Also, when I scan my card in the store at the coupon/price kiosk I received a $1 CVS off any colgate coupon and was able to combine it with the Colgate $1.50

So, $2.99
-1.50 mfq colgate
-1.00 CVS colgate
=.49 and $2 ecb’s

The Soft and Dri and Right Guard that sre on sale for 2.99 had 55cent peelies on them making them 49 cents after ECBs.

I got lots of freebies on the weekend but I’m moving soon and trying to use up what I’ve got! I can’t believe all the stuff I’ve come up with to eat and use up while avoiding the stores!

I also got the $5 off a $15 purchase coupon, but it’s only good for 3 days.

I also wanted to share that I purchased refill razors for the men’s Gillette Fusion razor. The cashier had been cutting out coupons left over from the extra Sunday papers and OFFERED to share the $4 off Gillette Razor. I wondered if it would work since I was buying the REFILL, not the razor. IT WORKED!!! Just thought others might like to give it a try.

(This was at a NC CVS.)

Just wanted to share my deals:

bought 2 toothpaste, 2 bonne bell, 3 soft n dri, 3 j&j trial sized, used 2 1.50 colgate coupons, $1 off 2 bonne bell, 3 .55 soft n dri, $3 off j&j, and my $10 ecb from last week. paid 1.91 from my gift card that I got with my recent rx transfer. received back $10 ecb.

next bought 4 excedrin for 5.29 each (the cheapest at my store), gave 4 $2 coupons, and my $10 ecb from tran #1, paid $1.71 with my gift card and received new $10 ecb. not bad!

then I hit target and got free:

fanstastik, 4 j&j buddies soaps, 1 luminaire, and 3 more j&j trial sized.

it was a good night!

The Theraflu rebate form states that you have to mail back the actual product with the original packaging. Seems to me like packing and mailing this back would completely offset getting any money back.

Lori December 18, 2008 at 5:28 pm

Me again.

Lucky, it doesn’t make sense at all, seems it was designed to sound good at first glance but you’d lose money with this one. Unless I’m missing something.
