I thought the Dec. ES coupon for bioinfusions was $5. Is this correct??

2 lee November 20, 2008 at 5:51 pm

can’t you do the m&m’s deal too?
rebate and store coupon

3 Kelly Webster November 20, 2008 at 6:31 pm

the bioinfusions should be free with the Dec. ES coupon after the november rebate right?

4 Jess November 20, 2008 at 7:15 pm

Not as grand as usual, but hey, who doesn’t love free chocolate!

I am somewhat new to Walgreens shopping, and I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. How do you know what the December catalog has in it, and how do you get the coupons? My Walgreens does not have them out yet, and the Walgreen’s website doesn’t either.
Thanks!
PS Dr Pepper is giving away free soda coupons this Sunday: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27829616

I’ll be in a city with a Walgreens tomorrow (I’ve never shopped in one). Where do I get the Easysaver catalog?

7 Melissa November 20, 2008 at 8:14 pm

There are 2 Dec. ES coupons for the bioinfusions; one is $5, and one is $2. They are for slightly different products. There is some overlap between the rebate items and the things you can use the $5 one on, so if you get those, it will be free :)

Um, I don’t know if that Hershey Kisses deal is going to work…my $1/1 coupon states 11 oz and larger and the December rebates is for 7.6 to 9.2 oz and I believe the ESC Q is also for that smaller bag. So, I think it would look more like this (though I can’t see the kisses in the ad this week, but I’ll trust they are there):

Buy 4 bags @ 4/$10
Use ESC Q for $2 off
Submit for $5 Rebate
OOP $8, Final Cost $3 for 4 bags

Please correct me if I am wrong (I’d really like to be!)

Sorry for the second post, but I believe the kisses sale doesn’t begin until Sunday–which makes it too late for the Nov ESC.

Boo! I had all of the coupons ready to go, too!

My Walgreens doesn’t usually have the next month’s easysaver catalog out, so I request it. Before they get it, they always tell me that it’s not time for it yet, but when they get it and look at the date they are surprised that it starts that day.

You get the easy savers at the front of the store in a rack. They come out with one each month full of Walgreen’s coupons.

Thanks for the deals! It is sad I only have 1 Kisses coupon…

I have had the same problem that others have mentioned. My Walgreens doesn’t have the next month’s booklet out until the 1st of the month. I have asked them before about getting it and have been told that they have them “in the back”, but they won’t put them out. I will try mentioning that the deals start before the 1st of the month and see what they say…

You can find previews of the Easy Saver catalog and upcoming Walgreens ads at the hotcouponworld website. Makes planning ahead a snap!

My Walgreens (St. Louis area) is no longer accepting manufacturer coupons AND Easy Saver coupons for the same items. They said the Easy Saver books have all been reprinted to reflect that they are manufacturer coupons and that using both is double couponing which is not accepted and the manufacturers have been cracking down on them. Has anyone else had this problem or is my Walgreens just crazy?

*********************
Money Saving Mom here: I would call corporate concerning this because according to them, you are still allowed to stack both an EasySaver coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon. Sorry for the trouble!

I went to Walgreens this morning, and tried to get the Spin Brush. The ES coupon is not for the one on sale, but for the RECHARGEABLE one…which is 18.99! I tried to buy it anyways to see if the coupon worked (since it says “$3.00 on crest spin brush pro” , and doesn’t specify rechargeable) but it didn’t work. Bummer! But I did get FREE bioInfusion Yeah!!

16 Susan November 21, 2008 at 10:39 am

Is anyone else having trouble with the Walgreens website? I usually just print the book from there because my Walgreens doesn’t put out the book until the first of the month, but when I click on the link for this month’s easy saver it gives me an error message.

17 angie landry November 21, 2008 at 2:08 pm

my question is, when you place these ‘links’ to print the coupons from manufacturers for instance, a lot of them you can’t go back and print again since you have to enter your name, address, etc. How can you get around this or do these manufacturers ‘reset’ their websites to where we can print them again later on if another deal would come up? I would hate to be able to get coupons for specific products from these manufacturers only once since I’m already in their database. Does anyone have any advice on that? I’m slowly learning but quickly getting the hang of it.Thank in advance for your time and advice.

Crystal, I’ve been having the same problem getting the December ES today. It finally came up a few minutes ago.

19 Christi D. November 21, 2008 at 4:26 pm

Yes- I was just going to confirm that the coupon for the Biofusion is $5 so those 2 items will be FREE. I’m about to go get mine right now :)

Check out my post for Wags and other deals
I got the spin brush deal- the lady just did it by hand for the two I bought. I did the bio Infusion deal for $10 and will get 10 back per rebate.
I had problems with my Wags and the books not being out but I talk to a manager and told them they do start today- that I can print them from online. SHe went and got the books for me. So just try asking- maybe even printing out the page from online where it says they start today so you can show them.
The last time the male manager said they used to start on Sundays so he just kept forgetting they go by Fridays now.

21 Mindy November 21, 2008 at 9:45 pm

Maybe it’s just my Walgreens, but they would not give me the free spin brust today – they would only accept one coupon because using both coupons created overage. I even called for the manager and the manager would not do it. Has anyone else had trouble like this?

22 Ruthy November 21, 2008 at 10:00 pm

Okay – tonight was insane at Walgreens!! I tried to get the Crest Pro Spinbrush, and neither the cashier (who has worked their 5 days!) NOR the manager would give it to me because my coupons totaled 1 cent more than the toothbrush. I tried to make a fuss, but a line was forming behind me, and I was uncomfortable making people wait. Has this happened to you? Do you have any suggestions?

23 kp November 21, 2008 at 10:07 pm

Spin Brush wouldn’t work for me either. The ES coupon wouldn’t scan because it’s pictured for the rechargeable brush, not the one on sale for $4.99. Bummer

24 Suzy November 22, 2008 at 1:08 pm

If your coupons total more than the price of an item, my understanding is that Wags policy is to adjust the price of the item to match the coupons.

25 Carolyn November 22, 2008 at 2:22 pm

The Wal-Green coupon in the December book shows the more expensive “pro” spin brush. My Wal-Green already had a copy of the coupon hanging over the brush, and it is $14.99.

26 Shelly November 25, 2008 at 10:27 am

Can someone help out here? Sometimes, like with the Excedrin coupons online this week, I get as far as the PRINTING part and it tells me I have already printed it….and I had not. I cleared my history and cookies and it still said I had.
