I've been negligent in getting Wal-Mart deals up the past two weeks because I've had so many other posts to share. I hope to remedy this and get back on track with sharing Wal-Mart deals here as soon as Thanksgiving is over.
However, in the mean time, I wanted to alert you to the fact that I've heard Wal-Mart has some great Thanksgiving sales going on including sweet potatoes on sale for $0.25/lb! Also, Land O' Lakes butter is reported to be on sale for $2 for a pound. Use this $0.55/1 coupon here and you have 4 sticks of butter for $1.45!

Right now they have Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Chicken for 60 cents a can. They have cases sitting out. You can pick up enough cases (24 cans) to last you until next year when they go on sale again. These are their “rollback” or sale prices. Last year they were 67 cents a can, so this year’s price is surprising.
I bought some of those 25 cents a pound sweet potatoes today and we baked some for our supper. They were so sweet and good too! and what a deal.
I think that spinbrush will make a great stocking gift!
The Wal-Mart by me also has Chex cereal all varieties on sale for $1.66 a box. There are $1/2 coupons that were in a recent coupon insert so that makes them $1.16. Pretty good especially if anyone plans on making chex mix or puppy chow this season.
When I went the other day their Glade Scented Oil Plugin’s, Candle Holders and Refills were all 2.00. I had lots of coupons and was able to get the holders free and paid only 4 dollars for 30 dollars worth of product! Not too shabby.
Watch for sticky coupons on the Land O’lakes butter for .30 off any Made with California Real Milk butter products. This coupon can be used on the Land O’lakes butters. I found them on the butter in our local Walmart.

HEB has Sweet potatoes 5lbs for $1
I’ll be looking for these sales, although most of the time in my area the prices are much higher or they roll them back months later after I forget about it!
I have not been to Wal-mart in ages. There prices have gotten so horrible in my area at wal-mart I save more at the grocery and drug stores!
The Glade candles for $2 are a great deal, especially with the $1.50/2 and $1 IP coupons that are out. I don’t usually buy the candles at WalMart so I was pleased to see the low price and the numerous different scents.
The night manager of my local Wal-Mart told me they don’t accept printed coupons anymore. I asked her when did this change because the Wal-mart website store policy says they do. She said it was a new policy and that it was for that store. I was pretty disappointed. I may email Wal-Mart directly to find out if an individual store can do that when corporate says they do overall. Anyone else had this happen?
P.S. She also accused my coupon of being copied and it was NOT! I printed it off my printer!
Update: I contacted Corporate walmart by leaving a message on their website contact us page. The local store manager just called me to apologize! She was very sincere and will be talking to all store employees and the one that said that to me also. They DO have to honor corporate policies…..so all Walmarts MUST take printed coupons, just fyi!
