by crystal on November 22, 2008

Here are the best deals I see at CVS this week. Please note that there are some exceptionally sweet Black Friday deals (loads of free-after-ECBs deals!) which begin on Thursday (yes, on Thanksgiving!). I'll post more details on these in a few days.

******ECB DEALS******

Buy 1 Maybelline Mineral Power Liquid Foundation at $8.99, Get $8.99 ECBs (Limit 1)
Use $3/1 coupon from 10/26 RedPlum insert or $2/1 coupon from 9/21 RedPlum insert
Free plus $2-3 overage after coupon and ECBs

Buy 1 Complete Multi-Purpose Solution (12 oz.) at $8.99, Get $8.99 ECBs (Limit 1)

There are reportedly tear pads out in some places with $1/1 coupons, so if you can find those, these would be free after the coupon and ECBs.

******NON-ECB DEALS******

All Revlon Make Up is on sale B1G1–Prices start at $3.49 so if you buy two items for $4 or less and use 2 $2/1 coupons from the 08/24 or 09/14 SmartSource inserts, you can get both for free!

I love your site. But I don’t know what Smartsource or Redplum is and I desparately would like to get coupons from those sources. Could you let me know? Thank-you so much for your help.

Hi Crystal,

I found a .50/1 Right Guard coupon by going here:
http://sweeps.rightguard.com/

Put in RIGHTGUARD for the code (it’s ok to do so, as if you don’t have a code, they give you one for free on the site). If you do not win, they compensate you by emailing you a bricks coupon link for .50/1! Yay!

Hope this helps someone!
Melanie

Smart Source and Red Plum are the names of the coupon inserts in the Sunday Paper. So, if you don’t already get the Sunday paper it’s probably a good idea!

Also, is anyone else having trouble with the Complete multi-purpose solution coupon? It says I’ve already printed on both my computers and I know I’ve never printed it.

4 linda b November 23, 2008 at 1:03 am

Wouldn’t let me print the coupon for the Complete multi-purpose solution either. It said I’ve already printed the number of times allowed but I’ve never printed it. I’ve had this problem with bricks coupons before.

5 Amber November 23, 2008 at 6:23 am

The lens solution coupon is no longer available.

6 Emily November 23, 2008 at 7:12 am

The coupon for the contact solution is not available anymore. :(

7 Jen November 23, 2008 at 7:46 am

When I tried to print the Complete coupon it told me the campaign was over – I guess we missed this one! Darn!

8 donna November 23, 2008 at 8:16 am

Has anyone paid for the gift cards with ExtraBucks? I am not sure if I could do that?
Please let us know if you have.
Thank you

9 jen November 23, 2008 at 8:31 am

I couldn’t print the Complete coupon either…anyone know if we can find it somewhere else?

10 shel November 23, 2008 at 8:55 am

I just tried printing the Complete MPS coupon and it said The Campaign is Over.

11 Jill November 23, 2008 at 9:19 am

I got a message saying the contact lens promo was over.

12 Julie November 23, 2008 at 10:26 am

When I try to get the Multipurpose solution it says the campaign is over. Has anyone been able to print it out?

13 Kelly November 23, 2008 at 10:29 am

The Complete solution coupon says the campaign is over.

14 madeline November 23, 2008 at 11:59 am

I tried the link to the complete multi-purpose solution q and it said the campaign is now over.

15 Sarah November 23, 2008 at 1:20 pm

FYI, I just bought one each of the Complete Contact Solution and Maybelline Foundation and my receipt did not say “Offer Limit Reached.” Maybe they forgot to put the limit into the system? I didn’t feel like testing it though :-)

16 Abby November 23, 2008 at 2:25 pm

I tried to get the coupon for the Complete Multi-Purpose Solution and got an error message from their website saying the “Campaign was over”. Bummer!

17 Julie November 23, 2008 at 4:09 pm

I just tried to print the Complete Mulit-Purpose coupon and it says the promotion is complete and then reverted me back to the homepage.

18 Dana November 23, 2008 at 4:23 pm

When I checked out today, my receipt said the limit was 2 on the Maybelline make up, and 3 on the contact solution. Anyone else have this happen?

19 Cher November 23, 2008 at 5:31 pm

It says Campaign Over when I try to print the contact solution coupon.

20 Heather November 23, 2008 at 6:09 pm

When I tried to print the Complete multi-purpose solution coupon, it said that the offer had expired (or something like that – I don’t remember the exact wording).

Anyway, Crystal, I wanted to tell you that this was my 2nd week trying out the CVS thing, and I’m so excited about it! Last week I spent $19 OOP, but I considered that to be “buying into the system”. And this week, I spent 87 cents and got $18 in ECBs to use next time.

So I just wanted to thank you for this great blog. I started getting Single Check Rebates at Rite Aid a few months ago after reading about them here, and now I’m a CVS newbie, all thanks to you. :-)

P.S. I also found Tammy’s Recipes from your blog, and I love her site too!

At two locations today, the Right Guard did not come up with ECB’s. Their flyers had it, their signage was accurate, but there appears to be a “glitch in the system” is what I’ve been told. One location gave me a store credit/gift card, the other location did not.

I can’t wait until Black Friday!

23 Lindsay November 23, 2008 at 7:57 pm

At my CVS today the limit on the Maybelline was 2 and there were $2 off coupons INSIDE each box of Right Guard, so after that first box I stood there (with borrowed CVS scissors!) cut them out and used them for the next 4 transactions!
HTH someone!

24 Glor November 23, 2008 at 8:33 pm

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that the link for the Complete solution states that the promotion is over. Thanks anyway, though! Glor

25 Jen November 23, 2008 at 10:26 pm

The contact solution coupon is no longer printing.

26 Heather November 23, 2008 at 10:31 pm

I couldnt print the multi-purpose solution either. It says the campain is over. Am I doing something wrong?

27 Sarah@Fiddledeedee! November 23, 2008 at 10:50 pm

Thanks for the deals Crystal!

The Complete Multi-Purpose link is telling me that “the campaign is over”, but I do have a $1/1 Q from the 10/26 Redplum insert.

28 Dionne Merriott November 23, 2008 at 11:03 pm

I saw on the cvs website that you can get TRIPLE ECBs through Dec. 6. Has anyone tried ordering online before? Would that work, just for a short time?

29 Christie November 24, 2008 at 7:14 am

Monday am 8:13 EST: The Complete Eye Solution says “the campaign is over” when you try to print the coupon. I waited too late!

30 Jennifer November 24, 2008 at 7:47 am

Thanks Crystal! I used the CVS info to go early yesterday morning and got close to $50 in ECB’s on items I needed anyways!

31 Leanne November 24, 2008 at 8:13 am

I wasn’t able to print the Complete coupon, either – it says the campaign is over. However, I do have some $1 off coupons that I’m able to use.

32 KayleighJeanne November 24, 2008 at 10:46 am

The Maybelline is limit 2 here in SW PA too. It even said it on the tag on the shelf. I also had a $3/$15 cosmetics coupon…made the deal even sweeter!

33 Amy W November 24, 2008 at 11:23 am

Are the CVS black Friday deals supposed to be in the normal weekly ad or us there another ad coming out with those deals? I have looked on a few blogs about the black Friday deals- they look wonderful, but I did not see them in my CVS ad that came in the paper on Sunday- am I missing something??
Thanks!
Amy

34 My Boaz's Ruth November 24, 2008 at 1:35 pm

No, you can’t use Extra Care Bucks on gift cards. Read the info on the coupon, it says what it can not be used on.

35 Bay November 24, 2008 at 1:37 pm

My CVS here in NJ had limit FIVE for the Complete deal! I was able to get five bottles of them for free! I also did two of the Maybelline mineral makeups as well!

36 Juanita November 24, 2008 at 11:28 pm

I heard that CVS was open on Thanksgiving day. Does the Black Friday ad start Thursday or Friday? Anyone know?

37 juanita November 24, 2008 at 11:30 pm

Oops. Sorry for the last question. I just read the top of the page that said it starts on Thursday. Thanks for all the great information.
