Bloom: Triple coupons this week

Heather emailed to let me know that Bloom stores are also offering triple coupons November 7-November 9, 2008.

I'm beginning to think it's national Triple Coupon Week or something since at least three different store chains are offering triple coupons. Of course, Triple Coupons in our area is pretty much unheard of, but that's okay! I'll be glad for the deals I'm able to get and excited to see the deals those of you enjoying triple coupons are able to snag!

Triple coupon days are honestly overrated and really not worth going to, especially if you don’t normally shop at the store.

A few years ago at my old house, I had a Price Chopper nearby, but I never shopped at it because I preferred Big Y. Well, Big Y used to honor triple coupon “coupons” from the local Price Chopper. Price Chopper at least once a month would have a flyer coupon that would give you up to 5 triple coupons under $1. So I would do that every time. Well, the local stores near my new house do not honor competitors coupons, which stinks for me.

I miss triple coupons!

The Bloom deal says up to 99cents. Is that the face value of the Q before or after it’s tripled? Can anyone help a newbie?!?! Thanks, SHERRI

They will triple coupons with original value of 99 cents or less. (Final Value of $2.97)

They will triple up to $0.99 face value(the coupon would be worth $2.97). Usually the highest coupon you will find that will triple is $0.75 (the coupon would be worth $2.25). After that they usually jump to $1.00

I love triples! I totally think they are worth it. Just today I went to Harris Teeter and spent $8.81 and saved $48.24 and I usually do better than that!

The key is to try and match your coupons to sell items. It may not always work out, but you can usually snag some great deals anyway!

My Bloom in MD had triple coupons a week or two ago, and it was limited to up to 20 coupons. I haven’t seen anything for this weekend.

Sherri, it’s face value up to $.99.

Are there any triple coupon days in Indiana or Illinois that anyone knows of? I just cut all my coupons, and I want to put them to good use!
