Awesome list but watch double check the price on the Automatic Shower Cleaner. At my Wags it’s $25.99 so that would be $5.99 after coupon and rebate.

Money Saving Mom here: It’s advertised in most ads as $19.99 so if it’s not marked as that, be sure to check your ad.

My Walgreens told me yesterday, they only accept printables up to $5.00. I guess that means no auto shower cleaner for me. Maybe some other cleaners, though!

I visited last night and took advantage of several of these offers in addition to the free Lindt chocolate. I’m loving Walgreens lately.

I wish my Walgreens took printables. I just printed out all the S&C Johnson coupons and will have to find somewhere else to use them. I wonder if calling Walgreens would help or is this policy under the discretion of store managers?

Holy cow! I’m new to this couponing stuff but I just got back to Walgreens and loaded up on stuff! I spent $20.12 out of pocket and will be getting all but 2.38 back! Thanks so much for putting this together for me!

I just got back from Walgreens, and got all of the products listed for the exact prices…. I spent $24+tax, and will get back $24 in rebates!!! All of this for FREE! I’ve been wanting to get the automatic shower cleaner, but haven’t been able to justify it for $25+dollars. Thanks Crystal for the great tips.

Just went and did this deal…thanks for the heads up! I didn’t have any problems with the coupons. I noticed that someone else was checking out doing the same deal…I wanted to ask if she has been visiting this site also!

What dates are these for? Would this work into next week or do I need to get there before Sunday?

I saw this post and ran to Walgreens… Only to find out that my Walgreens’ prices are much higher, so most of the items weren’t free or more. For instance – you have Windex listed at $2.50, but at my Walgreens it’s $3.79. You have Shout wipes at $2.50 – here, $3.49. BUT! The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner was on sale from $24.99 to $19.99, AND I had NO problem with my $10.00 printable coupon, AND I got the LAST ONE! And FREE after rebate! So it was a beneficial trip after all. Thanks for the post!

Sadly my Wags is no longer taking printables. Be prepared because it’s supposed to be an across the board thing straight from corporate. I’ve talked to two different people and they both confirmed that Wags will no longer be taking IPs. It’s only a matter of time before all stores are in on this.

I picked up a couple of “blinkie” coupons at Fred Meyers for $2 off one Glade scented oil candle holder or 2 refills. Refills are on sale for 1.99. Buy 2 for 3.98 – $2 coupon = 1.98. Then submit for rebate #32 for $1 each (limit 4) to make them free with 2 cents overage. Of course, this all hinges on having those blinkie coupons in your hand or the time to chase some down.

Thanks for these! I’ve already been to Walgreens 3 times this week… but it looks like I’ll be going back for a 4th =) I’ve heard such mixed reviews on the auto shower cleaner – I’m looking forward to trying it myself. And for free… I can’t pass that up!

I picked up blinkies at Krogers for $2 off one Glade scented oil candle holder or 2 refills. I used it today at Walgreens for oil candle holder and 2 refills.

I just wanted to respond to the person that said the prices at their Walgreens was more – the items you’re talking about are on sale in the ad for that price. My Walgreens didn’t have the sale price reflected so I was a little nervous but I had my ad in hand just in case I needed to prove my pricing. But, everything rang up as it was supposed to!

I am pretty new to couponing and hadn’t tried the Walgreens deals yet. (CVS seems so much simpler) But I went and did this deal and it worked perfectly. I spent 27.02 and will get back 23.49 (basically everything for free other than my tax). Thanks!

I don’t understand why walgreens would not take IP’s when they have a link on their website to print IP Coupons. I’m headed to walgreens now…..I hope they take mine!

I am very new at coupons but am loving it. Who doesn’t like free money?! I do have a question. Above it says to “request $x October EasySaver rebate #x”. What does that mean?

[Reply]

23 Kristin October 10, 2008 at 3:21 pm

Worked well for me today. My store also doesn’t have the sale prices marked on the shelves, but as someone has already mentioned the items are in this weeks ad at sale prices. They all rang up on sale for me. Just have your ad with you (which you can get right there in the store) in case you have any problems.

Thanks for sharing this. I am now FULLY stocked on cleaning supplies and both showers have the auto shower cleaner. You’d think my house would be much cleaner with all these cleaning deals I’ve been doing.

For some reason, two of the coupons beeped when scanned, and the girl said that if an IP coupon beeps, then they can’t take it. I can’t understand why the others printed from the same source at the same time were fine, but it wouldn’t take 2 of them. Weird. I may just try those two at a different Walgreens and see what happens.

I have shopped CVS several times, but Walgreens rebates are new for me. I am so excited about these deals! All of it is stuff that we are running low on. It is amazing how the Lord provides!

I have a $3 target coupon for the Auto Shower cleaner… does Walgreens take competitor coupons too?

[Reply]

31 Charlene October 10, 2008 at 11:08 pm

I didn’t make it to the store until late, the store I went to was out of most of the items I wanted, but I did still get some good deals.

2 of my printables beeped, but the cashier entered them manually. I got $20+ of products, less $10+of coupons, less $8 in rebated coming, net OOP $1.48 plus tax.

BTW–you can get some good Glade coupons at the glade.com website–I had 2 B1G1 for the Plug-in gel warmers, I got 4, with the coupons and the rebates, I will get these for free (with $04 overage)

This deal was great! I combined it with the weekly deals posted, and save $35 in coupons before rebates! My Walgreens took the printed coupons, and the cashier was amazed when I bought two Lindt bars, and two flameless candles for $1.53. THEN my register receipt printed for $3. I bought the other items, and spent $18.32, and will receive $16 in rebates. Thank you so much!!
p.s. I used the price checker to ensure everything was on sale and it was, but not posted on the tags. The sale prices are listed in the flyer.

33 Tiffany October 10, 2008 at 11:47 pm

The glad 4oz candles are 1.99 and if you use the $1/1 with rebate of $1 that make an overage of .01.
Also, I just found out (after several items were sold out) that Walgreens does offer rain checks!
You may have already known this but I think it is great!
Check out my deals on my site!

Hey all -

I spoke with a friend yesterday, who is an assistant manager at Walgreens, and her boss over speakerphone yesterday.

They said as of right now, there has been NOTHING to indicate that Walgreens will not take internet printables – they said it would be suicide to their stores if that was enacted. They mentioned that if a store does not want to take a printable, that you must call corporate and request that the store honor the coupon – it is part of their policy to honor these!

As far as the printables on the WALGREENS site though, they said that that may be going away, they weren’t sure, it was up to corporate.

So keep printing your coupons and keep talking to managers. Their corporate policy is to honor ALL manufacturer coupons, regardless of IP or newspaper status. HTH!

This was my best trip to Wags ever! The coupons did beep, but the nice cashier put them in manually. I bought a free after rebate item and used a coupon with it, too. My total out of pocket for all of the cleaning stuff, some expensive facial cleanser that I’d have never bought without the rebate, and one other item I needed was less than $2. The extra 10% they add to the rebates when you put it on the gift card will help with the tax I paid. This site made it all happen. I watch the sales, but didn’t know about these great printable coupons and the rebate to match it all up. Thank you!

Hi, all! I am new to the whole Walgreens thing and have a question regarding the rebates. When the rebate (such as the #27 cleaning products) says “Purchase one. Rebate limit $1. Rebate limit of 6 for up to $6 in savings.” does that mean I have to purchase 6 different products from the choices given? Or can I, for example, purchase 6 of the same Fantastik and get $6 in rebates?

[Reply]

38 A October 11, 2008 at 3:39 pm

My Wags had higher prices on the shelf tag for many of the cleaning items, but when I checked out, they rang up at the sale price you had listed. The clerk said they don’t always retag for sales. It violates our state law to have the tag price lower than what you charge and they don’t always get them all down at the end of sales, so they don’t bother. It is ok to have the price listed higher, of course, and they said people feel like they are getting a real bargain. Weird, but I got a great deal!

I had the same problem with a store not taking the internet coupons as well as a manager who was very rude about it. I spoke to corporate and they said that all walgreen’s are supposed to take the internet coupons and even had the district manager call me who also confirmed that they should take them. In addition to apologizing and saying he would correct the store, he offered to send me a $20 gift card for the inconvience!

I went to a WAGS in Tennessee today, and they took all of my IP coupons with no problems, no beeps. I was amazed, actually. HOWEVER, they did not accept a RR since I was using other coupons in my transaction. They said it was a new rule and they could no longer accept a RR if the customer was using even one mfr coupon in the order. So, she set aside a non-coupon item for the RR transaction. It worked, and she was very kind and helpful. I understand and don’t want anyone to get in trouble. I will, though, call corporate to see if that is a new rule. Seems very silly, though.

OH, if your store is out of any of these great items, PLEASE get a raincheck and go back. These rebates are good all month, the coupons don’t expire for a while, and your raincheck will guarantee your sale price. :)

Scored big time tonight! My WAGS just south of Myrtle BEach will accept ALL ip coupons, with no limit in value. Shelf price for the auto. shower cleaner was 24.99 but rang up for 19.99. Asked the store mgr if they had any policy in place or any new policies for accepting these coupons, he said they accept any and all ip, as long as they scan.

I have a question. I am new to this, this was actually my first transaction Yeh!!!! I am wondering though when you go to the online easy Saver form and you check off which rebate offers you want and then enter you receipt number. Will it automatically give you credit for 6 #27 rebates (ie $1 back on each of the 6 qualifying items on my recipt) or do you have to enter the receipt 6 different times????? Thanks for any advice from a newbie
