my scenarios:
#1
4 febreze noticeables 6.99- $5 coupon from sunday = 1.99 X 4= 7.96 earn $5 rr
fusion razor 8.99- $4 from sunday =$4.99
earn $4

3 kids tylenol @ 4.99 -$1 coup – $1.50 IVC = $7.47
earn $5
total for order 20.42 -5 = 15.42

#2
oral b toothbrush $4.49 – $1 manu (?date) = 3.49
earn 4.49 (although at one store it rang up as 4.79 and i got back 4.50 )
gillette shampoo 2/$10 – 2 $2 coupons from sunday on each= 2/6 earn $5 rebate
4 febreze air effects @ 2.49 – $1 each form sunday = 5.96 = $5 rr
= 20.45 = 15.45
earn 4.50, $5 and $5 rebate
you can use the $4 fusion and the $5 tylenol but not the $5 febreze cuz it is the same deal as the air effects
total oop = 6.45

#3
buy $20 kimberly clark products
huggies and pullups = 9.99×2 = 19.98 ( dont you hate when they do things that are 1c short of the amount!!) plus 1 wipes 5.99-50c (ugh ) 5.49
- $2 diapers coupons = 21.47
- $5 and pay 16.47
less the RRS you earned above – $5 – $4.49 – $5 = about $2!!!!
come home with $5 rr’s

if you dont need diapers, use your RRs to buy rebate items!

Sally October 3, 2008 at 12:49 pm

My trans this am-

2 bags of dominoes sugar
2 sudafed
1 tylenol cold
5 softsoap
oral b prohealth toothbrush

total after coups= $17.43. got back- $10 RR (softsoap) $5RR (tylenol and sudafed) and $4.50 (toothbrush)

coups I used- $.75 off manual oral b toothbrush
3 $1/1 softsoap man coups
easy saver catalog coup for $1/1 softsoap
2 $1/1 sudafed coups
$1/1 tylenol cold/sinus
$1.50 easy saver catalog coup
$1.99/ea domino 7 day coup
2 $.35/1 dominoes man coup
$5 RR from the febreeze deal I did on tues.
$5/$20 walgreens coup

My dh asked me last night to buy him some daytime cold meds, and sinus headache meds. He has good timing, eh? This is a decent price for sugar, best I have seen for a month.

Has anyone else done the deal where you buy 3 pepto bismal and get a $10 giftcard by mail in the easy rebate catalog?! It isn’t showing up online as part of my rebate. I may call to make sure it is processed correctly!

My Walgreens told me that if you use coupons then the RR would not print out. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if that is true?
Thanks

Profit of $6.01 :)

Tina October 3, 2008 at 2:11 pm

I can use Manufacturer’s coupons and the RRs will still print, but I have been told twice by Walgreen’s cashiers at 2 different stores that if i use a RR to pay for something that gets another RR, that the RR will NOT print out, even if the RRs are from 2 different products. Because I was told this twice, I don’t even risk it. So I use RRs for items that get rebates and my giftcard for items that print RRs.

Bargain Briana October 3, 2008 at 3:13 pm

@Tina – I used RR to pay for an item that generated RR and it did work. I don’t know how the system would figure that out since they are just rang in as RR. Now, if you use a P&G RR to buy P&G things, maybe that won’t work. But I used a P&G RR to do the Kimberly Clark deal.

Tina – I tried to use RR to pay for an item that generated RR and it did NOT work.

Also Amy, FYI – you can only use 1 RR per transaction and they are considered coupons so your total must still be above $20 after RR to use the $5/$20 coupon.

Gina October 3, 2008 at 8:17 pm

I posted my deals up today. :o )

Tiffany October 3, 2008 at 11:48 pm

Kimberly October 4, 2008 at 9:50 am

I bought the Honey Berry LypSyl, but I can’t find it on the Walgreens Oct. Rebate Form online. I heard it added to the bottom, but it’s not there. Does anyone else have that problem?
