KMart is doing it again–more double coupons! Check out the list of stores participating in Super Double Coupon Days Wednesday through Saturday (October 15-18) this week.

I am once again compiling an updated list of coupon matches for items on sale now! This list will be updated over the next couple of days as I see more to share with everyone! A new ad will come out tomorrow…so there will definitely be more to share then! I just spoke with KMart customer service. Here’s what I was told about this promotion.
1. At this time it is only on a small test market of SUPER KMarts at this time. No others will be participating, even if you show up with a flier. The 3 Super KMarts in TN are Memphis, Kingsport, and Johnson City. None in the Nashville area this time.
2. Regarding the doubling of a coupon off TWO items, the small print says they will only double up to the value of the first item. It doesn’t matter to them that the coupon covers both items.
3. They’ve been victimized by so many fraudulent IP coupons that they will no longer accept them. They don’t want to cause their shelf prices to increase because of this (nor do we – they’re very high already). They do accept their own IP coupons.
4. They are improving their coupon process daily, and they appreciate us bearing with them.
I also called RITE AID this morning. They said they now accept IP coupons that have the RITE AID name or logo on them, and she said there are some big coupon sites out there doing this. I have not ever seen this. If you find one, please share!
The Kmarts near me are not participating, but I got a flier advertising doubles at Sears Essentials (used to be Kmart). They are only doubling coupons up to $1 and it goes from Oct 14-20. The flier said that Sears Essentials and Sears Grand in these locations are participating:
Lenexa KS
Noblesville IN

East Ridge, TN

Is it worth it to drive 40 minutes to a super kmart to do this? Do they have food at super kmarts?
My local kmart did this last time but it’s not a super kmart, I made out pretty well, but not enough where I’d drive 40 minutes to have MORE free shampoo and the like.
If they double Catalinas again, this would be a very good time to go in for that Glade Scented Oil Warmer Catalina.
I contacted the KMART customer service line today. I explained that I was aware of the double couponing in some areas, but I did not believe my area KMART (Tallahassee, FL) was included. The rep did not even ask my zip code or state or anything. He simply told me to tell the cashier of the promotion, and request that he or she double my coupons, and that was all there was to it. No flyer, no nothing. It seems too good to be true, but I will be testing it out, none the less.
I contacted my Super K in Homewood, IL today and asked if they were going to be doubling coupons and her reply was ” I don’t have a memo stating such but I think it’s at the end of the month” ~ What good does that do me?
Nyah, hello. Yes, the Super Kmarts do have groceries. I have found that the one near me has a mediocre selection and sort of high prices, but also some decent sales. So to drive or not to drive would depend on if they happen to have match ups for the grocery coupons you have. Best thing to do would be to check the sales ad ahead of time (I believe the new one comes out each Wednesday) and if you are wondering if they carry certain products, you might be able to find out on line or by calling.
I called K-Mart customer service and was told that since so many people brought in ads for the double couponing match that they would no longer do that. I was also told that the double coupon days would eventually make its way to every K-Mart.
I was kinda bummed.
My Kmart is on the list, however nothing came in the mail and there is nothing with their weekly ad stating the double coupons extravaganza again.
I’m not so sure about the list anymore…
I recieved a response from my e-mail to CS of K-mart. They state that my store is doing the promotion from 10/15-10/18 and that since they are on the list for participation I DO NOT NEED the flier. If I go there tomorrow and they give me a hard time I am not going to be a happy couponer.
I printed the e-mail to take with me.
I am doing a happy dance right now! My Kmart has never been on these lists but my mother in laws has and I am going there this weekend! I am going to get as much as I can for FREE or close to it!
I did not have much of a good time at my local Kmart for the double coupons. They would nopt double Catalina and would only double certian coupons. If the machine beeed they wouldnt take it no matter what. You also cannot use more than one coupon for the same item in one transaction even if you have several and you also cannot use buy one get one if the coupon is for more than the value of the items. The room sprays i forget which brand were on sale for $1.50 and coupon was for bogo up to $3.89 and he said he would not take it or double up to $2. I was told that bogo coupons would not be doubled no matter what amount they were for.. The cashier was also really rude and I reported him to corporate. He was saying things like “They better not schedule me when they have this stupid double coupon thing again, I don’t need this job this bad.” I hope that is true because I was contacted by both the DM and the manager for the store and I am sure he was at least written up.
IMHO, K-Mart is so ridiculously high that to have a “douple coupon event” makes their prices just “reasonable” and not “remarkable”. I probably will not go back next time. I can do much better at CVS.
