Stores can limit the usage of coupons in certain instances, but unless they are not taking coupons across the board, they cannot refuse to accept coupons when an item is on sale. Apparently the folks in customer service misunderstand coupon usage and the fact that they get paid back for all coupons redeemed. Money Saving Mom here: I don’t know who is telling you this, but that is certainly not true. Stores can limit the usage of coupons in certain instances, but unless they are not taking coupons across the board, they cannot refuse to accept coupons when an item is on sale.
