By the way, I had so much fun hitting a store here that was running Double Dollar coupons last week. Since I'm quite low on coupons due to not getting any for 4 weeks while we moved, I didn't have that many to work with. But I still got quite a lot and only spent $2.30!
Oh the thrill of bargain-shopping; it's been awhile since I've experienced that and it felt so good to get back into the "game" again. I'm sure many of you can relate. I was only somewhat disappointed because I came home and set things out to take a picture to share with you all only to find that my camera was out of batteries. Silly, I know!

K Mart is doubling all week, so you didn’t miss it! And my sales flyer states that they double coupons up to and including a value of $2-that means the maximum you can save on an item (using a $2 coupon) is $4!!! Unbelievable!
I felt the same way after being on bed rest for nearly four months! (right after we moved) It feels great to be back in the game! I’m glad you are feeling better and are all moved
Had SO MUCH FUN at Kmart this morning. Had a non-couponing friend come with me. She was amazed when I handed her coupons for FREE items:)
My total was $55 before coupons…. $15 after!
It was totally fun and I will go back again 1 more time this week.
Our Kmart doubles up to $2
Anna, during the Double Coupon Days, Kmart doubles up to, and including, $2!! So a $2 coupon is redeemed at $4 off!
I’ve gone twice this week, and details are in my blog. I’ve been getting free Gillette shampoo, 29c Dove body wash, free Almay beauty items, and Glade oil warmers which earn a $4 catalina each time!

Some KMart stores have additional coupon books in their beauty sections, so doubling the q’s with a sale could be quite lucrative. I’m planning to check it out tomorrow…

Here is a new $5 off $50 coupon I received in my email today. Exp 10/31/08. And congrats to all those getting in on the super doubles again. No luck for me. Bummer!

Just got back from K-Mart. There wasn’t TOO much there since it is a small store, but I still got some stuff:

Glade Fabric & Air $3.79 – $1.50 Q – $0.79
I didn’t know about the Glade oil catalina! I may have to go back and try that!

Use the Beauty Book found in the store to get some free make up. I LOVE THIS DEAL!! Here’s how it works:
In the Beauty Book you will find a $2 coupon for an Almay make-up product. Almay products are 40% off at K-Mart this week. So…
Bought a eye liner, eyeshadow, and mascara. Each was $6.49 at my K-Mart before the coupon.
40% off makes it only $3.90.
Used a $2 Q that doubled, taking $4 off.
All three items were free. I was able to get my eyes all glammed up for Taco Bell today!
First, I just wanted to say that I love your blog!! Secondly, $2.30? WOW!! What all did you get? Now that’s more like the oop price I had in mind when I went shopping tonight. But,considering this was my first time I don’t think I did “Too bad”. I purchased $65 or $68 worth of stuff for $16.66. Lots of cleaning supplies (most of those were free) to restock my cleaning supplies cabinet, some deodorant for everyone, soup for my lunches for 3 days and some more stuff. My store was not listed on the online list, but I called them and they were participating here in the Dayton Oh area.
I bought 3 bottles of Gillette shampoo, 3 bottles of Visine and 1 bottle of Dove conditioner all for free – using all of the coupons I had for these items. Each coupon was for $2/1. I also bought Brawny paper towels, which were 8.99 and I had a $1.50 off coupon. My total after tax was $7.50.
I just call the Super Center Kmart closest to me..45 mins away in Raleigh/Garner ,NC and they are doing doubles on Nov. 5th if anyone lives in that area.
Anyone know if a KMart near Atlanta is doing Double Dollars? I saw that the one in Athens, GA is doing it but I can’t seem to find anything about Metro Atlanta.
Or does anyone know how to find out?
