Barnes-and-noble-small

This is a really sweet freebie and I had to do a little research to make sure it was legit. Sure enough, it is!

Go to the Barnes and Noble website here to print out your coupon for a free tall-sized latte, cappuccino, espresso, freshly-brewed coffee, or hot tea (up to $3.20 in value). This coupon can only be redeemed once per customer but I assume that means each person in your family could print and use one. The coupon is good through October 31, 2008. (Thanks, Debbie!)

So, who wants to meet me at Barnes and Noble for a latte?

The coupon says it’s to Barnes & Noble College stores. I guess that’s a store on a college campus?? Does it work at a regular store?

**********************
Money Saving Mom here: Actually, the coupon states it is *not good* at college stores. I would assume that would mean it would work at all other free-standing B&N stores.

I used mine at the Starbucks in B&N. It worked just fine.

Thanks! The 15% coupon is a huge bonus too, because we were headed there this weekend for some Christmas shopping!

I used mine as well, and asked the barista if I could use another one later on if I had an extra. She said yes, so I’m assuming that the “once per customer” means at a particular visit – i.e. you couldn’t bring one coupon in and use it for each person in your group?

Hi, sorry. I really do know how to read. :) I didn’t see the word NOT… Thanks!

Thanks Crystal! I was just thinking that it would be fun for us to go and browse for a bit at Barnes and Noble. We will definitely use these coupons!

My mom tried this and they refused saying you had to be a B&N member. The coupon explanation specifically says you don’t have to be, however, so print off the accompanying page, not just the coupon, to take with you.

I printed two of them off and gave them to my sister. She used them Saturday and she used two coupons ( one for her husband who was in the car, one for her)with no problems.

I smell a family date in our future! And it smells like Starbucks coffee…. :)

I was in the cafe the other day and they had a special offer that I thought would be a good use of the 15% off coupon: Buy the latest issue of InStyle magazine and a package of Godiva chocolate covered nuts, get a $5.00 giftcard. I was thinking of using the godiva nuts as a stocking stuffer for someone.

Thanks so much for the link!

I’ve been more than once with this coupon. I wanted soy in my drink, which was more than $3.20, so they just charged me the difference.

Please remember to tip; at my B&N, they have no tip jar, but are allowed to accept tips when offered.

I am really having trouble. Where on the website is the coupon? I really think that it is probably easy to find. I am just having a crazy mommy day.:)

My husband found this deal on Spoofee last week, and we went on Friday. Good stuff!

Yeah, A free latte! well, I guess i can go into B&N instead of Borders-I might walk over at lunch today.

Me! I wish I could run over and enjoy a relaxing evening of sipping and chatting with you – we don’t have a close Starbucks and I printed off the coupons intending to do it with my little ladies today but we just ran out of time.

We went tonight to a regular Barnes and Noble Cafe. There were three of us and the counterperson was nice enough to take all three coupons. She had to ring them up separately. We ordered Caramel Macchiatos and it went through no problem.

Thanks for this tip!

Anybody know what does “at close of business” mean? does it mean we can only use it at closing time?

Jennifer October 26, 2008 at 11:34 am

Thanks so much I am an avid Starbucks goer. Free coffee here I come!
