For those of you who enjoy digital scrapbooking, Heather sent me the link to this blog which lists digital scrapbooking freebies every day. It looks like there's lots of goodies there, but I don't know much about digital scrapbooking so maybe those of you who are gifted in that realm could let us know.
By the way, I so admire all of you who can keep up with your family scrapbooks. Don't even ask me about scrapbooking; I still have all of our honeymoon pictures in a box waiting to be scrapbooked. Maybe I'll get to those in about 30 years when I'm a grandma?!

This is just in time, I just started digital scrapbooking a few days ago to make some as Christmas gifts. It’s a lot easier than I thought it would be, and there are so many freebies available, you don’t need to spend a dime to make a really nice scrapbook! I’m going to print mine through ArtsCow, they always have Photobook deals/free credits. http://www.shabbyprincess.com is another great site for free coordinated kits.
Or just check out http://www.blurb.com to put your pics in a book and print. Easier than scrapbooking.
And, to me, much more enjoyable.
Here’s another site with a daily update of free digital scrapbooking kits.

I love the digital scrapbooking idea! I can only imagine what my toddler could do with a table full of glue and paper.
Here is another great website for digital scrapbooking tools and free downloads:

I love Digifree. It’s a great site. Digital scrapbooking is so fun because you don’t have to print the photos and make a mess out of your dining room table while trying to keep your kids out of everything. I love it!
Ha! You’re funny Crystal. Glad to know I’m not the only one way behind on scrapping.
And you got a honeymoon? I’m jealous. We were so busy after our wedding that I’m still being promised one. Maybe one day…
I think one of the most important things to remeber about Digi Free is that it is a program that sweeps and looks for freebies. I have downloaded many kits, elements, templates etc. When downloading kits after opening them make sure that they are 300 ppi (pixels per inch) you need this quality if you plan on printing or resizing things. If you can’t tell from opening you editing program then open a element and try to resize it making it larger. If it becomes blurry or pixalated than the kit is probably not worth scrapping with.
There are a ton of great sites out there to help you learn to digi scrap. I started almost 2 years ago and I have never went back to paper. Here are a few links to some helpful sites:
http://www.shabbyprincess.com (lots of great freebies, high quality)
http://www.scrapgirls.com (they have a free e-book)
http://www.digitalscrapbooking.com
http://www.digishoptalk.com (free forum-everyone is fantastic and you will learn more than you ever imagined.)
Hope this helps someone. Just be forwarned it is as addicting as checking the moneysaving mom website several times a day.
If you had time to scrapbook, that would mean you wouldn’t be blogging and helping out people like me!
Also, you can use a website like snapfish.com to upload pictures for free, then e-mail the links to family and friends. That’s what I do! Easier, faster, and the pics are just as great with or without embellishments
yikes, crafting is my weakness, let’s not talk about it.
This is also a great blog that lists freebies nearly daily: http://gingerscraps.blogspot.com/
