The Softsoap IP has “Limit 1 per household” on the coupon. Using more that one is fraudulent. It is still a great deal to use just one, but not a moneymaker.

TJ September 29, 2008 at 11:18 am

So if I already bought the Nivea for September and submitted the rebate, can I buy it again in October and get it again for free?

Plus any tips on where the Lypsol might be in Walgreens? I didn’t ask because I was in a rush to get things for our romantic weekend getaway, but everywhere I thought it would be, it wasn’t.

Kate September 29, 2008 at 11:25 am

Anyone know if that includes INFANTS motrin?

Kirstin September 29, 2008 at 12:01 pm

I guess I will have to start getting to Walgreens pretty early on Sunday morning, because the free-after-rebate deals are always all gone by the time I get there on Sunday afternoon. Is anyone else experiencing this or do I have a conspiracy theory?

One Mom, Five Kids September 29, 2008 at 12:25 pm

This is another great week at Walgreens – I can’t wait to get started!

Thanks for pointing out the 2 ‘secret’ Freebies – My son loves the Nivia for men since he is getting order he wants something more ‘manly smelling’ than the Soafsoap I usually get.

Amy W September 29, 2008 at 1:08 pm

There is a rebate out on Crossaction toothbrushes or prohealth toothpaste.
I got mine on a tear pad at kroger. I think the couponclippers has them too.
Buy 1 get a coupon for a free crossaction prohealth toothbrush OR toothpaste.

I submitted it several months ago and they sent me a coupon for BOTH! I was assuming i’d get a free coupon for whatever i was submitting my receipt for.

I have already used the toothpaste one, but still have the one for the free toothbrush! I think i need to get to walgreens asap!

They are limit of 1 per household so it cant be submitted for BOTH the toothpaste and the toothbrush!

Kristin September 29, 2008 at 1:46 pm

Just wondering where the Fusion razor coupon was in this weekend’s paper. I must’ve missed it and might have to go hunt down a recycle bin somewhere. :)

Holly in OK September 29, 2008 at 2:09 pm

I’m not sure about the Febreze deal. The coupons are for the kits, but the refills are listed in the RR deal. Are the kits included in the deal as well, just not listed?

Stacey September 29, 2008 at 2:53 pm

I have also had issues with Walgreens having things out of stock, even by Sunday afternoon. I plan on talking to the manager to find when they get shipments in and to see if I can be called for specific products because it is a bit ridiculous to have nothing in stock.

FurryKids September 29, 2008 at 3:44 pm

Benefiber Strawberry Kiwi drink mix (individual packets) is a great deal too! I bought one 16 packet box for $.99 yesterday. EasySaver has a $5.00 coupon and there have been a lot of Benefiber coupons = $2.00 – the original price at my Walgreens was $7.99 – $7.00 in coupons = .99. I liked the drink mix so much I am going to get several more this week.

Carey September 29, 2008 at 3:57 pm

My Walgreens was all out of the Febreze products (of course), and the LypSyl (thanks for that tip!), so I guess I’ll have to go back – bummer. But I still did so well today that the store manager called me the Coupon Queen! I felt quite proud!

Kirstin – yes, I always have the same problem. Ask when the delivery truck comes. My Walgreens truck comes – and the store is restocked – on Tuesdays.

Holly R. September 29, 2008 at 4:01 pm

I bought 3 children’s Tylenol today and I got a $5 RR AND a $2 RR. I’m not sure what’s up with that, but I was super excited. I heard it’s an overlapping promotion, so who knows how long it will last.

Also, there was a Walgreen’s children’s coloring book that had a bunch of IVC coupons in it (it came out a while ago, but my pharmacy has a bunch near the counter, for some reason). Anyway, there is a $1.00 IVC coupon in there for Children’s Tylenol Cold medicine. If you combine that (I believe the register takes $3.00 off for this) with the $1.50 coupon from the monthly book and the $3/3 mfr coupon, you have 3 children’s Tylenol Cold for $4.47 with a $5 RR back! Sorry if that is confusing.

Janey September 29, 2008 at 4:17 pm

I found the LypSol hanging near the register.

cheapsk8mom September 29, 2008 at 4:18 pm

The Nivea Men’s Wash is going to be fun!
Combine the IVC for $1/1 with the ManQ for $1/1
OOP 2.99, Submit for 4.99
Make $2

Peggy September 29, 2008 at 4:25 pm

Just wondering if I could also use the $1 coupon in the WAGS coloring book for the Children’s Tylenol deal? Wouldn’t that bring me down to $4.47 oop? Then I would get the $5 RR so it would be free w/overage? I’m new so my math might be off!

Laurie September 29, 2008 at 5:10 pm

My Walgreens doesn’t print out a Register Reward if you use a manufacturer’s coupon for the item. I bought the Fusion razor, used the $4/1 Q and didn’t get the RR. The store manager said if you use the Man. Qs, you can’t get the RRs. Guess I’ll stick with CVS for these kinds of deals!

Angela September 29, 2008 at 5:47 pm

I’m wondering where you read that it was limit 2 on the FAR LypSyl LypMoisturizer Honey Berry. I can’t find it anywhere…On the Walgreens webpage it’s not shown other than on the page where you claim rebates, and there is no limit mentioned. I would assume it’s limit 1 since that is what it was last month?

Just wondering. Don’t want to buy 2 if only one is FAR!

jaredsmommy September 29, 2008 at 6:34 pm

My walgreens says you can`t use but one like coupon per transaction. They say walgreens won`t get paid for the coupons if you use more than one of the same in each transaction. So I simply broke my order up into mulitple transacitions. So I was still able to score alot of febreeze products and some tylenol for the little one. Something about one per purchase. Is this just a rule my store made up or is it all stores.

Nicole September 29, 2008 at 7:49 pm

Super Savings @ CVS, Walgreens, & Walmart

Nicole September 29, 2008 at 7:53 pm

Sorry–I accidentially twice posted!

Lori September 29, 2008 at 9:46 pm

I have found lypsyl in the same place in both Walgreens that I shop in. Most Walgreens have makeup along one of the outside walls. The opposite wall is the aisle where I found the lypsyl. It is in that aisle, but not on the wall. It is on the free-standing part of the aisle, across from the wall. (Does that make sense?)

Laurie and Jaredsmommy, I would call Walgreens customer service about the RR and coupons issues you have had. It sounds a bit like someone might not know exactly what the policy is. (I have met managers who don’t know how some of this stuff works.) I’d be willing to bet that customer service would fix whatever errors may have been made at your store.

Shane September 29, 2008 at 10:29 pm

Some of your deals require using multiple coupons from newspaper inserts. How do you get, for example, 4 of the Febreeze coupons without buying 4 Sunday newspapers?

Thanks!

Petra September 30, 2008 at 8:17 am

my Walgreens gave me the run around yesterday about this weeks offers. Refusing to take Walgreens coupons and the MF Coupons in addition (something they have ALWAYS done). And then not accepting my RR s from past transactions. Well, they only accept one RR from an old transaction at a time.(Guess i ll have RR til the end of days…) After dealing with them for about 30 min. i had to leave to cool off and have to try again today..lol.

Teresa Hall September 30, 2008 at 1:44 pm

I finally went to enter my walgreens rebates online instead of in the mail and it is not letting me do it. I follow their instructions online but I am getting nowhere.
I went to claim rebates then I came to the different months and they are in bold black with NO clickable month the ONLY clickable link is the actual easysaver catalog which gets me nowwhere.
According to walgreens instructions I log in then click on claim rebates link (I did) then choose the easy saver month and their is the months listed for september and october but it is not clickable? Then if you can enter the month you are supposed to click the start/add link but I cannot get their because again, the ONLY link to click is the easysaver catalog? Any thoughts out there? Is it possible that California is not inclided in the online rebates?
Another interesting thing, when I click on the online easy saver catalog it does NOT show the extra 2 rebates at all? I emailed Walgreens but it may be quicker if somebody else out there has an answer?
I love this site and everyone here is so helpful,
Thanks,
Teresa from California.

tiffanie September 30, 2008 at 3:47 pm

when i get home i will share my deals (i’m at the college right now…haven’t written up my blog on my drugstore deals from this morning). just wanted to say that the softsoap pomegranate body wash smells amazing and will make a great xmas gift (i’m making “pamper me” gift baskets for the females in my family!). :)

Kristin September 30, 2008 at 5:56 pm

Oh no! I just got home with my LypSyl and sat down to enter it and it’s no longer coming up on the rebate tally sheet. Ack! Guess I’ll be returning it next trip.

Also, I was wanting to do the benefiber deal that FurryKids posted above but it’s $13.99 a box at my store, not $7.99.

I’ll let my $11.50 in RR from yesterday help me feel better. :)

Laurenlulu September 30, 2008 at 6:20 pm

Theresa, the same thing happened to me on my AOL browser, but on the IE browser, the link to add receipts was there. I think it is blocked, somehow (I’m not too computer literate- thats my best guess, lol)

The extra 2 FAR items will show up on the check list that comes up after you hit the add receipts button. HTH!

Also, I have TERRIBLE luck finding things in stock at my Walgreen’s. Its brand new, and the only one around for about 45 miles.

Tina September 30, 2008 at 6:36 pm

I am having the same problem with the Lypsyl. It was there yesterday as I wanted to verify before I bought it. And when I went to input my receipt, it was gone!

Maybe it was a Walgreen’s error?

Lynette in Michigan September 30, 2008 at 7:24 pm

I had a deal come up today! I bought two Zicam Rapid Melts. $10.99 BOGO. I was able to use two $2 coupons from Sunday’s paper and got a $5 RR. So after sale, coupons and RR it was about $1 per container. Great deal!

Thanks for all you do. It has made a great difference in my budget!

Karina September 30, 2008 at 7:43 pm

Crystal-
I just bought 2 Dove bars (the 3.4oz ones) for .39. They are B1G1 this week. I used two coupons for $1/1 (regular price in MI $2.39 a bar). I believe the coupons were in 09/07 paper? The Hubby appreciated this in his lunch today ;)

Vanessa October 1, 2008 at 11:01 am

Can you use the RR from the oral-b toothbrush for the gillete razor (even though it says not valid on P&G products)??

Grace October 2, 2008 at 10:50 am

The Nivea and Lysyl deal weren’t showing up for me either so I called Walgreens 1888-324-3028
And they told me that it was still being honored just to enter the receipt # and the computer would be able to tell what was eligible. So we will see. She said if it didn’t work to call back in a few weeks and they will put it through manually.

Lori October 2, 2008 at 9:42 pm

I was just on the phone this evening with the Walgreens rebate folks about something unrelated, BUT, before I got off the phone, the customer service rep told me that the L’Oreal Revitalift (?) and the Chemistry hair rebates will carry over into October also. I have no reason to believe she was wrong, but when I checked the online claim form, those items did not appear. Does anyone know how to claim them?

TOSHA October 3, 2008 at 11:57 am

I guess my area didn’t get the dove coupons? I have looked through my coupons over and over again ! I keep all of my coupons so I know I didnt toss it! oh well
