<description>My Register Reward for Triaminic didn&#039;t print, and I thought it would be easier to return it than deal with Wags re:the RR. Thanks, mp, for the Catalina Co. (800) number and all the other great info! I&#039;ll let you know how things work out going that route!

<description>I emailed Walgreens recently because I was having issues with coupon usage too. I asked a number of questions and only got answers to 2. Here they are:

Is the coupon policy decided per store manager?
No, we do have specific corporate rules for coupon usage, just not a written official coupon policy.

For instance, can you use the Easy Saver coupons with manufacturer&#039;s coupons?
You may use one Walgreens Coupon (Register Rewards, Ad coupon, Easy Saver)
and one manufacturer coupon for the purchase of any one item.

I too have been finding Walgreen&#039;s to be frustrating! Perhaps it is just that I don&#039;t understand their policies. I do like their sales, but wow, what work to try to get them to work sometimes! :)

<description>I told them I use my RRs all the time, but they say I can&#039;t use RRs on ANYthing that prints out additional RRs

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My good friend&#039;s dh is a walgreens manager and he said that RR won&#039;t print if you use the identical RR from another transaction. So like if you did the robitussin deal and got $5 RR, then went back the next day to do the robitussin deal again... and used that $5 RR from the last time... Your RR don&#039;t print.

I&#039;m not sure if that answers your question or not but it sure helped explain why mine didn&#039;t always print.

<description>ANSWERS TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS from KRISTY AND KATHLEEN.

Yes you can use coupons and get the register reward! Management always says that when they don&#039;t know why it did not print. Its just their excuse! Last night I bought 2 bottles of the Loreal Gloss shampoo and 2 boxes of Natural match hair color
I paid 4.00 x 2 = 8 for the shampoo
I paid 9.00 X 2 = 18 for the hair dye
-----total $26 (meeting the purchse requirement)
I used the following coupons:
1 BOGO on the Loreal gloss shampoo -4.00
2 X 5.00 off each box Natual match -10.00 (gr8 coupon!
Total of 14.00 in coupons
26.00 - 14.00 coupons = 13.00 w/ tax
AND I RECEIVED A $10 register reward!
So that takes care of that.
Now before you check out always ask the clerk &quot; Is the coupon machine working???? Does it have paper in it???
Make it a rule because 1 times the machine did not have paper and the coupon did not print of course. When I asked him if it had paper he told me no we are out of paper. He sent me to cosmetics and paged the manager who looked at the receipt and told me it did not print due to the coupons. I told him, NO IT DID NOT PRINT CUZ U R OUT OF PAPER. And since they did not have any paper in the whole store I had to ask for a redemption form to mail in and claim it. You can also call CATALINA MARKETING who can do the work for you. Call them they are very nice and take care of it and they can located your purchase as long as you have your receipt on hand.
Catalina company: 888-322-3814. have your receipt in front of you, they need some key info from it, and they&#039;ll be able to see if the machine was working and if you bought the right products. It does tend to take a few minutes for the call, and then you have to wait to get the RR, which takes 6 - 8 weeks.

<description>I had an annoying experience with one local Walgreens today. I bought 7 bottles of the L&#039;oreal vive pro shampoo &amp; conditioner ($4 bottle = $28) but no Register Reward printed. When I asked about it I was told that if you use coupons (I did) then you don&#039;t get register rewards.

I&#039;ve put in an email to customer service because I can&#039;t remember ever running into this policy before. Anyone else?

<description>There is a sweet Hershey&#039;s deal this week too. Hershey&#039;s fun size 8 packs are on sale 3/$3. There is an ESR for $5 when you buy $10 worth.

So buy 10/$10 and get $5 back. 80 fun size candy bars for approx $.06 each- great for Halloween candy!

<description>I&#039;ve always been able to roll my RRs between 2 different deals every week. Last night a manager refused to do it. I&#039;ve called corporate and the store manager to ask about the policy, but they are all giving me the run around. I told them I use my RRs all the time, but they say I can&#039;t use RRs on ANYthing that prints out additional RRs. I&#039;m really annoyed because it works with every transaction. When I asked corporate about their policy they had no idea! Has anyone had problems with this? Why does it seem like Wags has to make everything so difficult?? It makes me not want to shop there!
