Target is running a deal on Kashi products this week: Buy any 4 Kashi products for $11 total and get a $5 Target gift card back! There are a couple of different ways you can work this deal to maximize your savings:

*Deal Idea #1*
Buy 2 Kashi products–your choice
Buy 2 boxes Kashi GOLEAN Crunch
Use 2 $2/1 any Kashi product coupon here
Use 2 $1/1 Kashi GOLEAN Crunch coupons here
Spend $5 out of pocket plus tax
Get $5 Target gift card back
Free after coupons and gift card!

If you are on the Vocal Point list (and you should be, if you like coupons and free stuff!), you likely received a big envelope of Kashi GOLEAN coupons in the mail in the last few weeks. There was 1 $2/1 coupon and numerous $1/1 coupons. Using those coupons you could work this deal:

*Deal Idea #2*
Buy 4 boxes Kashi GOLEAN Crunch for $11 total
Use 1 $2/1 and 3 $1/1 Vocal Point coupons
Spend $6 plus tax out of pocket (or $1 out of pocket and $5 gift card earned from Deal #1 above)
Get $5 Target gift card back
$1 for four boxes of Kashi after coupons and gift card!

Thanks to Jaycie, Shannon, and Moo for the help in putting together these deals!

Oh my! THANKS for this heads-up! I did get those vocalpoint coupons, and now I know exactly what to do with them. I also this very day got a $10 Target giftcard in the mail from Ebates, so the Target stars are aligning. Woot!

Is anyone having trouble joining Vocal Point? I complete the form, hit submit, and then all I get is a pop-up that reads “undefined”.

I’m not having a good day with these offers that require registration. The Kashi sign-up errored out too–a little differently than the Ambi one, but it still wouldn’t go through.

I wish I could join VocalPoint. Unfortunately, they don’t allow men to join.

I went to our Super Target today and did this amazing Kashi deal! You can see the picture of all of the stuff that I got on my blog. Also, you can print out as many Kashi coupons as you have (or have access to) computers/email addresses!

Thanks Crystal!

I LOVE KASHI! I hope they have strawberry field cereal there! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! Thanks for this! Also, thanks so much for being the very FIRST blog I started reading. You have inspired me to save thousands. I have my own blog but when I talk to people in the grocery line who think I’m crazy— but in a good way— I tell them about yours too! I’ve had a budget and emergency fund for awhile now (all thanks to you!) but am now tracking every dollar. I have some pretty awesome financial goals that we’re hoping to acheive in the next 5 months that include giving thanks to GOD by tithing! Thanks so much!

hi! I’m interested in your kashi cereal coupon thing, but don’t they only let you use the same coupon once? or can you just print out a couple of them and use them both at the same time?

Christie September 8, 2008 at 6:39 pm

Rebecca– I had the same problem with the Kashi website today not working, but it’s 7:40 EST right now, and it just worked for me! It did tell me that I had already registered with that email and login name (although it never printed out any coupons earlier for me when I tried it)— so I just changed and used my husband’s email and changed the login name. This time it worked great! I printed 2.

If you are a Vocal Point member, and don’t want to do two deals you can do one deal with the both the VP coupons and IPs and make $1 on the deal.

2 any Kashi $2/1 (IP)
1 Go Lean Crunch $2/1 (Vocal Point)
1 Go Lean Crunch $1/1 (IP or Vocal Point)

Pay $4 OOP and get a $5 GC

I ran out and did this deal! I got 12 kashi products and MADE .75!! WHOO!

I went to Target this evening and got my cereal with the Vocal Point coupons (what is with all their cereal coupons anyway–I already have Special K and Kashi Vive I got for free with their coupons). Anyway, I thought I might do the printables to get some crackers, but all their granola bars and crackers are sold out! They have rainchecks out, but how does that work with the gift cards? Does anyone know?

Corrie September 8, 2008 at 9:19 pm

I looked at Vocal Point, but was hesitant to join. What do they require of you? Do you have to test products and fill out surveys?
Thanks so much for what you do here. I am a new reader (in the last 6 weeks or so), and have already saved lots of money. My Walgreens deals are about to get even more fun–I should get my first rebate gift card back any day now!

Rebecca September 8, 2008 at 10:50 pm

Christie and others–I was able to get in to the Kashi website finally, but I didn’t see anywhere to get the coupon. Is there a link? Or should it just come up automatically?

Best Kashi deal is the Frozen Waffles — on sale for 1.58 each — $5 gift card if you buy 4 makes your out of poket without even using any coupons $1.32 — or 33 cents per box….

Dina September 9, 2008 at 8:32 pm

If you are member of Vocalpoint, check your e-mail for message “Ask your MD”. It has a link to Kashi and you can print 2 $1.00 coupons off Vocalpoint site.

Amanda September 10, 2008 at 1:50 pm

You can also buy the Kashi oatmeal which is 2.15 at my store. Use 4 1.00 off coupons or the $2/1 coupons and you can make a nice deal of it!
4@2.15=8.60
minus 4.00
4.60 oop to get a 5.00 gift card.
