Target has selected snacks, including Rice Krispie
treats, Cheezits and Pop Tarts, on sale 4 for $9 and you get a $5 gift card when you buy 4!

Buy 4 and use 2 $1/2 coupons from the recent Kellogg’s circular and you’ll get four boxes of snacks for $2 after the gift card. Or, if you buy only Poptarts and use four $0.50/1 coupons here in addition to the two manufacturer’s coupons and you’ll get them free!

You can do multiples of this deal in one transaction or you can also roll this deal–using the gift card you earned to pay for more boxes of snacks and on and on.

If you have yet to send in for the $10 Kellogg’s rebate, this would be an excellent deal to do it on and would turn it into a nice money-maker!

Thanks, Mercedes and Chief Family Officer!

A full cup took down targets coupons..only a select few show up along with ones that expired on 8/30/08.

E.M.C. September 2, 2008 at 10:08 am

I don’t see/can’t find the Poptarts coupons on the fullcup website! Where are they? I was hoping to go out today!

kate September 2, 2008 at 10:10 am

I think this is a regional deal. I’m in MI and my ad says poptarts are 4/$7. No mention of a gift card.

steph September 2, 2008 at 10:10 am

brooke September 2, 2008 at 10:13 am

I am having trouble finding the Poptart coupon. Was it removed from the site? Thanks!

Rachel September 2, 2008 at 10:21 am

It said the coupon is no longer available. :(

sheri September 2, 2008 at 10:42 am

n September 2, 2008 at 10:54 am

I think that coupon expired.

Crystal September 2, 2008 at 11:17 am

The poptart coupon should be back up soon. There was some kind of glitch.

I’m in MI, in the Grand Rapids Area. Deal was 4/$9 w/$5 GC here…..Pop Tarts in store had 4/$8.56 signs on them, and they rang that way.

YMMV as far as using the internet coupons at Target… even though the only ones that aren’t supposed to be accepted are the toy coupons (displayed prominently on a sign that the customers can see, but the cashiers can’t), some Target employees have interpreted this to mean that they don’t accept ANY internet Target coupons.

Alisha September 2, 2008 at 12:04 pm

what is the 10$ Kellogs rebate deal?

Morgan September 2, 2008 at 1:34 pm

Last Friday my local Target informed me that not only are they not taking any Target Web Coupons but they will not accept any coupons that are more than the price of the item.

I have been getting overages from my coupons at that very Target and other locations for about a year now.

Of course I went to the manager because in the past I have had a few issues with newbies who don’t know better, but the manager always comes through and lets me use my coupons even with the overages….NOT ANYMORE I was informed.

Apparently this Target Web Coupon issue has caused the managment of that Target to inform their employees to not allow overages either….even though they are completely not related to the web coupon fraud.

They were VERY picky too, for instance I had a $1 MQ for Any Dove Hair Product that I was going to use for the $0.97 Dove Travel Size Hair Spray…they rejected it.

Target has probably lost my business for the most part.

One of our Targets will not accept the web coupons if they are for SuperTargets only. Each one is different. Also, I have had better luck with the store accepting them if I print them off the store kiosk’s…plus that way I’m not using MY ink! ;) Hope it helps someone.

I picked up the four boxes today for $7, (didn’t have Kellogg’s coupons left!) got the $5GC AND found two boxes with tokens for the free children’s book offer. I’m mailing this one to my niece for a surprise gift. What a GREAT deal! I’m debating taking the GC and buying 4 more to be able to send off a book to my other niece. I should still get another $5GC and only pay $2OOP again. My husband eats the Pop-Tarts so it’s not a waste for us.

Hi Everyone -
The Pop Tart Target coupon is available at Hot Coupon World under Coupon Resources click Coupon Generator and it’s there. It’s not up on the Target website anymore but, it’s @ Hot Coupon World – I just printed mine. Hope this helps.

My Penny Pile. com September 2, 2008 at 3:28 pm

I just posted how to get Progresso Soup for .63 at Target and I’m giving away a Kellogg’s rebate form to use with the pop tart deal.

kelly September 2, 2008 at 4:50 pm

I just did the Target deal. I bought 4 boxes and I used 2- $1/2 MC and 4 -.50/1 Targret coupons. oop $4.27 and I got a GC for $5.00 Pretty good. Thanks Ladys for the great tips each week.

kelly September 2, 2008 at 5:00 pm

I was reading over the kelloggs rebate form and it says all ten items have to be on one receipt? Does anyone have a suggestion to make that work.

Elizabeth September 2, 2008 at 7:31 pm

I just bought 12 items I went two over the 10 for the Kellogs items. It did mean that a few of the things I got I did not have coupons for. But I did get three $5 gift cards. My total was around 57 dollars before coupons after all my coupons my total was 32. I got 3 five dollar gc and I will send off for the rebate from kellogs. So all in all about 8 dollars for 52 dollars in items.

Melissa September 2, 2008 at 9:35 pm

I was just at Target tonight and they said–company wide– the internet coupons will not be taken any more. You can only use the ones printed off the kiosk in the store.

I tried to use mine and they wouldn’t even scan. There are signs at every register stating that IP’s can’t be used. Too much fraud.

Just FYI

Denise September 2, 2008 at 9:51 pm

The Target coupons finally came back up. I printed them out (they were pretty blurry) and tried to use them with my regular coupons. They wouldn’t scan and wouldn’t be manually accepted by the register. A manager was called over and said if they don’t scan, they aren’t accepted. I insisted they were legit and she overrode the register and very unhappily keyed in the discount. At least I got 4 boxes for .50!

Sally September 2, 2008 at 10:40 pm

I did two transactions at target, I bought 4 poptarts each time, using 4 $.50/1 target coups (printed from hot coupon world, and they scanned perfectly) and 2 $1/2 man coups. Each time I got the $5 giftcard. Only glitch- the cashier added the 2nd $5 giftcard to my first card, instead of using the first $5 as payment(so I have one $10 giftcard to use later). A manager rang me out, and made no mention of not accepting internet coups. (supertarget in GA).

Summer September 3, 2008 at 12:10 am

Worked for me! Got 12 of the items for $16 OOP, $15 back in gift cards, and am sending off for the Kellogg’s rebate, which will make this a $9 money-maker! Thanks for the heads up, here’s my blog post about it: http://savinginsacramento.blogspot.com

Jocelyn September 3, 2008 at 1:59 am

Wow, its sad to hear that Target (one of my fave stores) is getting so picky with their own coupons. It will definitely deter my shopping with them too much anymore. :(

Melissa Bodzioch September 3, 2008 at 1:56 pm

my target had them for $14 then gave the $5 GC which made them $9 is that right?

WL September 3, 2008 at 6:13 pm

Today I tried using the internet coupons for the Poptarts.
They would not scan so the cashier asked an asst. manager who was at a nearby register. She pointed to a sign displayed at all of the registers which showed a picture of Target internet coupons that stated “due to fraud and tampering Target would no longer be accepting these coupons.” Recently I was refused by a manager to stack their store coupon with a manufacturer coupon. I will be limiting my shopping at Target from now on.

Misty September 3, 2008 at 8:34 pm

Just FYI…Greenville, SC Target will no longer be accepted ANY self printed coupons…even from their own website. They did honor the 5 that I had for poptarts and baked lays, but did tell me it was an exception. (Due to lines I believe and they just wanted me out of there….lol) Good luck and Happy Couponing!!!

Misty :o )

Jenn September 4, 2008 at 6:40 am

I went and did the Poptarts deal last night. The deal was even better than I expected: with two specially marked boxes, you can get a FREE children’s book in the mail! You don’t even have to pay shipping and handling! How sweet is that? (I think it’s only the brown sugar cinnamon Poptarts that qualify…which are my favorite anyway!)

CouponNerd September 4, 2008 at 10:22 am

I went to Target (pronounced with a french accent TarJay in my house LOL) last night. Got 4 packs of 12 count poptarts for $6.96 (used 4 50 cent coupons), got the $5 gift card. Got 4 packs of 8 count Rice Krispie Treats for $7.00 (used 2 $1/2 coupons), got the $5 gift card. Used the two gift cards to get milk, aluminum foil and sandwich bags. Thanks for the heads up!! BTW I live in Cincinnati.

Melissa September 4, 2008 at 5:51 pm

Jenna September 4, 2008 at 8:12 pm

My Target would not honor the deal.

Rebekah September 5, 2008 at 1:47 pm

I too had trouble with my IP coupons not ringing up at the register at my Target in Abilene, TX. They had to manually put them in and a manager had to approve it. I’m sorry to hear that Target is cutting back so much on their coupon policy.
I was glad that they worked with me so willing though, because I was able to get 3 gift cards and will be mailing in the Kellogg’s deal for a $5 earning for me(I only had one $1/2 coupon! I was sad!) I still made money though and that’s great!!!

Becky September 6, 2008 at 10:26 pm

I got my free Pop Tarts today! There were also signs at all the registers saying “due to fraud, we will not accept these coupons” BUT it had a picture of the one coupon “Save $5 on a toy purchase of $25 or more” that someone had tampered with and taken the picture and the word “toy” off of–so I am thinking that it is specifically that coupon. They took my pop tart coupons, even though it wasn’t scanning well. Hopefully they won’t do away with the printables.

Julie September 10, 2008 at 9:51 am

I was told by my local Target that it is coupons for TOYS they are not accepting. All others were accepted.
