Yep! I did this two days ago and got my totals up to $10 before coupons and got the mystery penny items! I also got 10 boxes of hamburger helper for free plus overage. I post the deals usually by Sunday mornings on my site so that you can get the penny item. I love Publix!!! I usually save 85-99 % on my groceries there.
Oh yeah! Forgot to mention these $1 off coupons were also in this past Sundays GM insert! Print a total of 4 online coupons for these per computer, and use the ones from the insert!

hiya – great blog – i’ve been lurking for a couple of weeks and have enjoyed the tips. i live in the northeast (PA) and have been shopping at Giant – they had these steamers for $1 each (10 for $10) and I used 2 coupons for $1 and got 2 for free. . . so, I’m learning!!! LOL

My Publix has them on sale for $.87 each in Pace, FL. We got a bunch of these for free with a $.13 overage using the coupons you mentioned.

They are also free this week with coupon at TOPS Markets in upstate NY.
I couldn’t find the Steamers in my Publix, but I did get some other deals and used my CVS 2/10 coupon with no issues… At first the associate didn’t know what I was talking about, but it is Publix Policy to honor all competitor coupons, so after asking his manager, he gave me $2 off my order! It actually said “Competitor Coupon” on the screen! I got this idea from a friend of mine and was skeptical, but it really does work!
