Starbucks has been running a promotion this month giving out free coffee every Monday for teachers. Monday, September 29, 2008 is the last day to take advantage of this deal and Starbucks has generously opened it up for homeschool parents, too!

Here are the details from their website:

Teachers of grades K-12 are invited to
their local Starbucks coffee house for a complimentary tall size (12
fl. oz.) cup of Pike Place Roast™ every Monday throughout the month of
September.

In order to receive their complimentary cup of Pike Place Roast™,
teachers are asked to provide proof-of-current teacher status – such as
a teachers’ federation card or school district badge. The “Great Start
for Great Teachers” special offer ends after Monday, September 29.

If you are a homeschool parent, you can read details here on what teaching credentials to provide.

Enjoy your free coffee!

I was in CVS earlier and they have had a display of Hooked On Phonics workbooks for 3.99. I grabbed one to scan and sure enough, it was 90 % off! All of them rang up that way, but weren’t marked nor were they near the clearance section!

Thanks for posting this, MSM! I’m putting it on my blog because I know lots of teachers who would love to take advantage. For those who are NOT teachers, my giveaway this week is a $5 Starbucks card!
