Glad to hear it was just a weekend-long break! Although I’m sure we would all understand if you take a longer break during your move.

There’s actually a $3 off L’Oreal Revitalift that gives you $3 profit. Most of our stores are sold out of these already. I was lucky enough to get the last one at one of them!

On the Alpo and Friskies deal, you can probably get 6 for the price of 2, since 3 will ring up “at cost” and 3 will ring up free. You then use your B4G1 coupon to take of the cost of one and you have 6 for the price of 2.

The schick quattro for women coupon expired 9-21 but this is still a good deal if your store takes expired coupons!

Our area is not getting the monthly books (at least for now). I have heard stories that vary from:

A) they are overrun by coupons and need to step back
to
B) we are some sort of test market.

Who knows, but I sure do miss our monthly books. Now, we have to hunt and peck for those deals around the store that are not available to us through the books. :(

Just a couple quick notes:

1. The Revitalift is a 2 day deal, so you need to get it by today, Monday, 9/22. I went during my daughter’s Sunday School hour yesterday and got one; the store had 2 left at that point, so this may be hard to get.

2. There is no mention of a deal that Ithink is rather good. They have Cottonelle toilet paper, double roll 12 packs, for $6.49; if you spend $25, you get $10 back. I had one coupon from some insert (sorry, I don’t know which one) and bought 4 packs for $25.96 – $1 cottonelle – $2/10 CVS coupon. My total cost of $22.96 plus 6% tax was $24.34. After the $10 CVS bucks, this works out to $3.58 per 12 pack, which is by far the best price I’ve seen in a long time.

There are other items included in the $25/10 deal, such as Viva paper towels, but we don’t use any of them, so I concentracted on the Cottonelle.

Walgreens has a coupon in the weekly ad for Adidas Deodorant for $1.99. My CVS has a big sign stating it takes other store coupons. Does anyone know if I use this at CVS will I still get the $4 ECB?

Jan September 22, 2008 at 9:40 am

The coupon for the Crest Pro-Health rinse is for the 1L size- the one on sale is the 250 ml size (at least in my paper)

Jan September 22, 2008 at 9:52 am

CVS takes other stores PHARMACY coupons- not the general ad coupons. For example if you found a coupon for $5 gift card for Target with a new Rx- CVS will also honor that coupon. I haven’t seen many of these lately though.

*******************
Money Saving Mom here: Actually, some CVS stores accept a variety of competitor’s coupons. For instance, I know of a number of CVS stores which will take Walgreens EasySaver coupons in addition to manufacturer’s coupons. It really just depends upon the individual store, though.

I tried the Soy Joy link and it says that I have printed my coupon limit when I know I have never printed coupons from this site. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

Mar September 22, 2008 at 10:52 am

Julie, I had the same problem with the Nestle’s coupon. I then went to the main Nestle website and logged on and was able to print my own coupon. I think the link is to Money Savings Mom’s logon/coupon print. I’m not sure, but try going to the main website for this, then working your way down to the coupon by clicking on the appropriate link (whatever that is, I don’t do the Soy Joy bars, so I haven’t tried it).

Thanks Mar, I will try that. Blessings!

Sarah September 22, 2008 at 2:44 pm

I had trouble printing coupons using Firefox, I used Internet Explorer instead and they printed just fine.

Holly R. September 22, 2008 at 6:20 pm

The ad lists buy 5 Propel or Gatorade for $5 and get $3 ECBs. Well, Sobe Life Water works in this deal as well and the $1/2 coupon from the Reinventing Beauty book with Ugly Betty on the cover works for this deal. Also, the limit is not 1, like the ad states. My receipt did not say “offer limit reached”. Unfortunately I don’t know what the limit is. Sorry.

Sarahg September 23, 2008 at 9:56 am

I noticed yesterday that the Kleenex/Cottonelle deal says limit 1 in the sales ad but you can actually do it twice:)

Lydia September 23, 2008 at 10:39 am

Caroline, I am a CVS employee, and MoneySavingMom is right, if a store posts that they take competitor’s coupons they should take that coupon. And from my experience, the ECB should print as well. Hope that helps!

Raeann September 23, 2008 at 2:23 pm

If you have multiple coupons on a good deal and the ad says Limit 1 per household, can you go to a different CVS and buy from them as well (in a different town or area)?
