1 Valerie September 5, 2008 at 8:53 am: Thanks for posting. I used to be a regular commissary shopper, but since the closest one to me is 20+ miles away, I only go when I have a lot of stuff I need — and that I can’t get cheaper with double-Qs elsewhere.
If you haven’t checked the official site (commissaries.com) in a while, you will be happy to find that you can now see what’s on sale at individual stores from home. (You’ll need to use the sponsor’s info to log in.) I found it was quite easy to copy the information, paste it into an MS Word document [paste>special>rich text] and sort by percentage to see where the big savings are. Now I just need a quick way to cross-reference the coupons.
For folks in the Norfolk area, Little Creek’s truck load sale starts today.

‘Use $1/1 coupon that came out in yesterdays RP insert (9-4-08). It seems unusal to me that they put new coupons out yesterday-midweek, but there were some really great ones so i am not complaining!
3 Lisa September 5, 2008 at 10:27 am: The Ronzoni Smart Taste Spaghetti and Thin Spaghetti is $1 at the commissary. Use the coupon from a recent insert for $1 making it Free!
4 Lisa September 5, 2008 at 10:29 am: Also, Ft. Belvoir Commissary has stacks and stacks of P&G coupon inserts that anyone can take. They keep them out all month long and I am always surprised to see left overs.
5 Shayleen September 5, 2008 at 1:09 pm: My friend that lives near Dayton, Ohio just told me that the commissary she shops at has a stand outside of the store that carries Sunday papers all week long! Man, I wish I could find a place like that somewhere else…what a great way to no have to buy them on Sunday!
