Can you use an in-ad coupon, easy saver coupon and manufacturer coupon all at once for the dove? This seems like one too many coupons, although $1 for 2 doves is still a nice deal.

Money Saving Mom here: Yes, you are allowed to stack three coupons in this instance since two of them are store coupons which are set up to allow them to be used in conjunction with one another.
I’ve never heard of anyone having a problem doing this; let us know if for some reason you do, though.
Thanks for asking!
Can you use 2 Walgreens coupons on the same product? The IVC says “Not valid with any other offer”.
Could you please tell me where the ES coupon is for the Colgate? I’m not seeing it in my book. I know there’s a super coupon coming out in next weeks ad. Is that what you’re talking about?
Oops! I just reread it. It’s the toothBRUSH. Sorry!
Walgreens is THE place to be! I posted about a hidden deal on Tylenol Allergy I stumbled upon yesterday too here http://tinyurl.com/675gjc
So I just wanted to make a little commnet abbout Register rewards — I hear a lot of people are not getting their RR’s if they use coupons but I used some today and I got mine. I did the buy 2 of robitussin and get $5 back. I used 2 of the $3 off coupons and still got the $5 back so I made money. I also picked up some of the hebert’s chocolate that was on sale 2 for 3 or 1.99 a piece and in the september easy saver they have a coupon for $3 off 2 so all I paid was tax on the candy. To pay for this I used the $4.50 RR that I received from purchasing the Crest pro health rinse. So all in all I used walgreens coupons from the easy saver, manufacturer coupons for the medicine, and I paid the difference in a RR’s and still got back a RR.
So I just wanted to let everyone know that using coupons and RR’s should not affect getting a new register reward as long as you do not roll over a RR that you received for one item to buy that same item again.
Also make sure that the machine by the register that prints out the RR’s is working because I had that problem the other day and they had to give me a giftcard. So as long as the machine is working properly you should get your RR’s even if you get a gret deal with coupons!
Love your site! How can I subscribe? You describe the deals so well. I was just at Walgreens this morning. The checker insisted I could only use one Robitussin coupon. I waited for the manager and he took all 3 without a problem. It was worth the wait.

Money Saving Mom here: Jana, thanks so much! Glad to be of help. To subscribe, you can click on the options on the right sidebar. There is the option to subscribe via a feed reader or via email.
Hope that helps!
Consider yourselves very lucky. My Walgreens is , to quote my son, a “poopy head”. Even with manager intervention, they won’t take a manu coupon with an Easy Saver one, nor would they have anything to do with the All You coupon for the Rimmel awhile back. It kills me to read some of these deals knowing darn tooting it won’t work here. (At least our CVS rocks most of the time!)
Where is the toothbrush coupon?
There’s also a great deal on Tylenol PM. It’s on sale this week for $3.49. Use the $1/1 coupon in September’s Easy saver catalog stacked with a $2/1 coupon from Sunday’s paper and it’s only $0.49!
I never shop Walgreen’s, but it looks like I should! Where can I get the EasySaver coupons you describe?
Where is the manuf. coupon for the Colgate toothbrush?
I had to purchase an additional item to get my RR for the Robitussin deal…it still was a MM, but not as good.
At my Walgreens, I was unable to use the .75 off coupon on the Crestpro-health mouthwash and get the RR. It took the .75 off then wouldn’t print the RR. Was told it exceeded retail price to use both, so made Walgreens refund the mouth rinse, then re-bought to get rewards. Can’t find the Colgate Toothbrush or Dove coupons in my Red Plum, sigh….
My walgreens won’t let me piggyback coupons…INCLUDING RR’s. If I have 5 items, I can only use 5 coupons. Period. Many’s, in ad coupons, and register rewards all act as one coupon per item. Plus they never have any items they should and will not give rain checks. I’ve decided the frusteration is not worth the savings, no matter what! Now CVS gets ALL my business.
The coupon for the toothbrush is in the September All You. (The one the with the pumpkin on the cover.) It’s on page 161.
I printed the toothbrush coupon from Colgate.com
It was $1 off any Colgate toothbrush.
My Walgreens announced this week that Walgreens has started considering Easy Saver coupons as manufacturer coupons and so they won’t let you stack them anymore. Is this just MY Walgreens or a company wide decision?
So after reading this post about the chocolate bars being free and was immediately overcome with the urge to eat chocolate…that’s FREE! I ran to get the 9/7 Red Plum insert (that I hadn’t clipped, but am switching back to clipping again next week!) and couldn’t find the coupons. This is probably the 3rd time that I haven’t been able to find a coupon that I had seen listed on a blog or the Grocery Game. Do you if the inserts vary by region? I live in SW Ohio! Bummer…no free chocolate for me?!?
-Erin
My Red Plum doesn’t have the Dove chocolate either…
FYI – air wick lumin’air flameless candles are on sale for 7.99 less a $3 coupon on the pack… making it 4.99. PLUS last weeks Sunday paper had $5 off coupons for these… making them free!!
HTH someone.

Brittany,
The 0.75 off Crest ProHealth mouthwash is for a 946mL or larger. The RR prints on the 500mL. There is no coupon at this time for the 500mL but you get the $4.49 RR.
Wow! I think we need a WAGS around here.
Are you still allowed to use the ESR coupons with man q’s? They changed the wording in the September ESR to read “manufacturer coupon reedemable only at Walgreen’s”. My friends Wag’s interupted this to be that she could not stack a Wag’s ESR with a man q anymore due to the new wording on the coupons?
Have you heard anything about this?!? I haven’t been yet, but I don’t want to get up there expecting to pay one amount and have to shell out more money for something I don’t need.
I went to Walgreen’s last night and used several coupons on Register Reward items and they all printed, so I wouldn’t think that was the problem. I also was able to use manufacturer coupons and easysavers q’s together. I had the best cashier. It was a great experience. I blogged about it here:
http://savingourcents.blogspot.com/2008/09/my-first-walgreens-trip.html
Also, congrats on your pregnancy. I had terrible hyperemesis during my last pregnancy which resulted in several stays in the hospital. After 20 weeks, it subsided and the rest of my pregnancy was great. Unfortunately, the only thing that worked for me was just time (grinning and bearing it until I was well out of my first trimester).
On another note, thank you so much for your wonderful blog. I think I check it about 20 times a day! I recently started blogging and have linked to you in several of my posts. If it wasn’t for you, I never would have given the whole couponing thing a shot.
Hi Crystal here is one more deal:
Moneymaker on the South Beach Bars

I am sorry to hear so many people are getting grief from their store’s personnel. It really is very frustrating to face situations like this. I always encourage people to get in touch with customer service to iron out any misunderstandings.
My walgreens is brand new and they accept all the coupon deals I do… mostly. I noticed on BOGOs they will only take 50% of the one that’s bought. Or they won’t do ES coupons if it creates overage. But otherwise, they’re really good about everything. They even took the $0.75/1 coupon from Crest… I didn’t know it was the wrong size! Opps. Oh well. They took it!
The McKinney, TX Walgreens (we have three, soon to be four of them
took the 0.75 coupons for the Crest as well and I didn’t know it was the wrong size either. Sometimes I wonder how they stay in business… at least here. That’s probably soon to change, though.
My comment is on the Oust. I bought two, used the ES coupon (our Walgreen’s let you stack ES and MC’s), used a B1G1 and then tried to use a $2/2 in combination, but they said that was stacking coupons. I don’t like aerosol sprays, so I wasn’t pleased to pay a dollar for both cans, but I wanted to let you know that’s what happened. I’m not sure how anyone is getting them for free because the B1G1 and $2/2 are both MCs and they shouldn’t allow stacking two MCs for one product. BTW, I should have asked and didn’t, but when I bought 6 Herbert’s chocolates (in two’s), they rang up as $1.99 each and I ended up paying 0.50 for each bar. These are so good that I didn’t complain, but I should have because I probably could have gotten them for free.
$5 dinner Mom: Coupons do vary by region. I even spoke to someone Sun. who said that the next town over from us gets a different variety at times. Moneysavingmom said to look at the spine of the insert and see where else you could get the insert. I did that, but I found that the daily newspaper had only 1 insert (and cost less), but the Sunday paper had 3 inserts this week (and cost more). I’ve decided to do a little experiment: instead of getting both Sunday papers down the street from me, I am going to buy 1 close by and the other on the way to church (next town over) for the next month (to check to see what the difference is). She said she used to work for the newspaper and got comments all the time from people wondering: “why didn’t I get thus-and-such a coupon, but my friend did?” She said the coupon people want them to go to areas they have researched as an area that will “buy their product if they have a coupon.” The good news is that you can often go online and get the same/similar coupons that come in Sun. paper ( by visiting smart source, p&g, redplum etc). Also, Coupon Loop has links to lots! (Because I don’t have a CVS with a scanner, A Target nearby, or certain grocery stores, for me its a lesson to be happy for others that get things that I don’t and still be content. Sometimes that’s hard….)
Re: the Robitussin and the Dimetapp deal. You must ring each of these deals up separately or the $10 RR won’t print for each of them. I rang them up together and it only printed 1 $10 RR (it should have printed two). The clerk told me it was because of the coupons which didn’t make sense to me. So I had her refund the money and asked her to ring them up separately and it spit out two $10 RR. Just make sure you ring them up separately to get the RR’s. Also, for those of you that are new at this like I am…..I didn’t realize that you can only use one RR per transaction. I tried buying a $30 cologne by stacking my RR’s and they only take one per transaction. I had to buy 5 separate items to use the 5 separate RR’s that I had. Just an FYI….Thanks!

I went to Walgreen’s today to take advantage of the free Dove bars, but they did not work out to be free. After the $1/2ES and 2 $1/1 the cost was $1.40=tax. I was looking for free.
