Is this one of those things that you have to do in separate transactions, or will the Walgreens coupon automatically take a dollar off of each? The coupon says “limit one item per coupon” but I can’t remember if that is what the diaper coupon said too a few weeks ago…anyone know?

Money Saving Mom here: From my experience, the Walgreens register will take $2 off per Prep. H bought with only scanning one EasySaver coupon. However, it might vary for you. You could try buying two and see what happens. You could also bring up two EasySaver coupons just in case.
Well, just went to walgreens and the wipes are 5.99, easy saver $2 makes them 3.99 and then $3/1Q= $0.99
*******************
Money Saving Mom here: This deal has been tested in stores so the price has been verified, however, not all stores may have the size that is $3.99. Hope that helps!
Does anyone have a suggestion as to the order in which i should present these coupons????? thanks!!
Can you tell me where you get the easy saver coupons from? I have the Easy Saver catalog dated August 2008 but all the coupons in it expired on 7/26/08. Is that a misprint? Should they be good thru 8/26/08? Otherwise, you’d only be able to use them from 7-25 to 7-26, the day the booklet comes out?
What do you think?

Money Saving Mom here: Mary, that was a misprint and Walgreens will accept them through August 26, 2008.
What does overage mean? They will give you $1 cash back with your purchase?
*********************
Money Saving Mom here: No, you’d need to buy at least $1 extra of stuff and have the overage cover that. They won’t give you cash back (or they shouldn’t, at least!), but they will allow you to use the overage towards other purchases in the same transaction.
Hope that helps!
OK, thanks! And, one more question? MOst of the coupons in the book have “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens” written in the small print. Will they still let you stack it with the coupon I printed from the manufacturer’s website? I thought you couldn’t stack two manufacturers coupons like that?
Can you tell I’m new at this??? LOL Did get my free children’s advil from CVS already, though! I’m just loving your website!
Can you use more than one of these MFCs in a transaction?
This idea struck me as really funny. A family member has trouble eating Cheerios because they cause him distress at the end of his digestive tract. So the wipes and the cereal are the perfect duo!
I never thought I would see “Preparation H” and “money maker” in the same sentence, but I’m happy it happened. Thanks for the heads up, Crystal.
We had errands to do this afternoon and Walgreens was on the list ~ Thank you for posting this deal! My 7yo has been asking for Cheerios lately, and wouldn’t you know, in my stockpile I didn’t have any. Now she has 4 boxes to enjoy
The cashier was so impressed!
My Walgreens wouldn’t let me. They said it exceeded the allowable amount??? It was .01 less than $3.
Thanks for the heads up! I stopped by this afternoon on a trip around town and did all this in ONE transaction, so it does work!
2 – Preparation-H 10 count wipes for $3.99
2- Boxes of Cheerios for $1.99
Gave them (2) $3.00 off Preparation Coupons,
A $1.50 Cheerios Coupon that came in a pack of Pampers, and the $1.00 coupon from the Cheerios Challenge…
Then I gave them (2) different $2.00 off Easy Saver Coupons for the Preparation H…
Total before tax was Neg. $.52 and after tax I paid $.42!!!
The cashier just smiled and said, “You’re MY kind of shopper!!”
So it can work all in one transaction! If you don’t have the $1.50 coupon, then you’ll pay a little more, but it DOES work!
Good luck everyone and thanks again!
You can also do:
2 preperation H -10count $3.99
2 lamisil powder $7.99
Use :
(2) $3 off coupons for Preperation H
Easy saver for coupon PH, $2 off each
(2) $4 off coupons for lamisil
Easy saver coupon for Lamisil, $3 off each
Grab a candy bar for the rest of the overage.
You shouldn’t use that image in this post– this deal is only for the portable wipes. Well, if they’re even on sale in your area… not for me…
I got four Prep Hs and four Cheerios for $1.28…I printed off the coupons from the links listed….I used the Easy Saver coupon first then the printed MQs.
My Walgreens would not allow me to use both coupons because the WAGS coupon is listed as “Manufacturer Coupon”. Ugh!
Carole,
Give the MQs first, then the Wag Q. Walgreens allows overage with store Qs, but not MQs.
The Dallas Market area does not have these wipes on sale this week. I checked the ad, they are ringing up for $5.99.
I have 5 packs to return tomorrow!
Carole, on Crystal’s side bar to the right there is a link to a tutorial called “Walgreens 101″ and it tells you what order to give the coupons. The CVS tutorial tells you what order to give them at for CVS as these are different. Hope that helps.
Thanks! I did mine yesterday and it only cost me the tax. (.29 cents)
I’m in Michigan – the Easy Saver catalog’s coupons all say “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens” written in the small print. Can you still stack with a MQ?
Has worked like a charm for me three times. I have “wiped out” (sorry it’s late and I’m a little punchy) every Walgreens in a 10 mile radius of Preparation H. Did once with 4 boxes of Cheerios and got all for free (exept tax). Did once with the Wheat thins/jello deal. Paid .68 plus tax for 4 Prep H, 12 Jello, 4 Wheat Thin and for $3 RR for Kraft. Did the final deal with some clearance items and pd only tax. Am planning on hitting 2 more Walgreens tomorrow on my way to a dentist appointment 20 miles away. Yeah Preparation H!
Our Walgreens in this area have the 10 count wipes for $4.99
I feel like the best deals posted on here won’t work in California because everything is more expensive!

I just did a similar purchase. My Walgreens charges $4.49, but it was still a money maker. Also, the advertisement for the Jello says limit 6 but I purchased 12 with one of the advertisement coupons and they all rang up at .39. Thanks for the heads up on this deal!
Just FYI, it turns out that these Prep H wipes are nothing more than wipes with witch hazel, a mild astringent, on them. There is actually no medication on them. They could be used for anything.
I’m in the last weeks of pregnancy and suddenly have a need for this product and luckily I remembered this deal.
1 – Preparation H for 3.99
1 – Lipton tea bags for 1.99
1 – 0.40 clearance candy bar (just in case and I deserve it!!)
Use:
1- $3 Preparation H coupon
1- $2 easy saver
1- $0.50 lipton coupon from paper
Husband just laughed at how funny/sad my situation is and how I still manage to use coupons to “cure it”!
Total = $0.91 OOT
Hi – at my Walgreens, the RR did not print out for the Prep H. I talked with the manager and he rang up a seprate Prep H just to see if it would give me one and it did not. They asked me to show them where this was printed otherwise they could not honor it.
If anyone knows, please post.
Thanks!
Nancy, I don’t think the Prep H isn’t supposed to print an RR, but you can use the easy saver coupon on pg.33 of the August booklet for it.
Hi Crystal!
I just wanted to send you a quick note to say 1st… I absolutely love your blog!! Thank you for teaching me so much!! I’m just getting into the whole couponing and CVS’ing thing and it’s all because of your help!! Thank you!!
2nd… I went to Walgreens today for this deal:
http://www.moneysavingmom.com/money_saving_mom/2008/08/walgreens-prepa.html
Today would have made the 3rd time getting this deal this week ((also buying the cheerios– was actually doing this deal to get the free cheerios!)) and I went to a different walgreens today because my regular Walgreens was out of the cheerios.
At the different store today, the cashier and the store manager refused to let me use both the store easy saver coupon (for the prep H wipes) and the printed internet coupon both. He said he could NOT give me a deal that would end up paying me money to buy the product.
Crystal… i’m totally confused. I left the store nearly in tears because I was so confused and embarrassed by the way they acted, like I was trying to steal something. Why did one store allow this, but the other did not? Do you run into this? Is this a policy that all Walgreens follow and I’ve just been “lucky” up until now?
Thanks for your help!
Sincerely,
Carrie @ Heart of a Servant
